Harry Potter Film Concert series returns to Abu Dhabi in September

Proactiv Entertainment, in partnership with Miral, the leading creator of immersive destinations and experiences in Abu Dhabi, has announced that the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra will perform Harry Potter Film Concert in Abu Dhabi in September.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone concert will be on September 6 and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets in Concert on September 7 in Abu Dhabi, as part of the Harry Potter Film Concert Series.
General ticket sales are available via etihadarena.ae and platinumlist.net.
The concert will feature the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra performing live, to picture, every note from both Harry Potter films. Audiences will be able to relive the magic of the both films in high-definition on a 40-foot screen while hearing Armenian State Symphony Orchestra perform John Williams' unforgettable score live.
Earning a Grammy nomination for the score, the incredible music composed by John Williams became an instant classic, conjuring beautiful and soaring motifs continuing the adventures of Harry Potter on his magical journey.
Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences and CineConcerts created the Harry Potter Film Concert Series, the only official global concert tour celebrating the Harry Potter films.
Since the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone in Concert in 2016, more than 3 million fans have enjoyed this magical experience, which is scheduled to include over 2,973 performances across more than 48 countries worldwide through 2025.

Two stars of the 'Harry Potter' films, including actress Emma Watson , were each banned from driving for six months Wednesday after being caught speeding in separate incidents. Watson, 35, who played Hermione Granger, the friend of boy wizard Potter in the hugely popular movie franchise, was banned for driving at 38 miles (61 km) an hour in a 30-mile zone in southeastern Banbury last July. Zoe Wanamaker, 76, who played Quidditch teacher Madame Hooch in 'Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone', was banned for six months for her offence. She had been caught driving at 46 miles an hour in a 40-mile zone of the M4 motorway in southeastern Berkshire last August. The cases were dealt with separately by a lower magistrates court in the town of High Wycombe. Neither of the stars attended the hearings, at which they were each fined £1,044 ($1,400). Watson, who was stopped while driving her blue Audi, has been studying at Oxford University. Her lawyer told the court that although she was a student 'she is in a position to pay the fine'.

Internationally acclaimed superstar Travis Scott has added a new Abu Dhabi, UAE date to his 2025 CIRCUS MAXIMUS WORLD TOUR. The show is set to take place on Saturday, November 15 at Etihad Park. Promoted by Live Nation Middle East, in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral, the leading creator of immersive destinations and experiences in Abu Dhabi, the limited global run will span six countries, kicking off on Saturday, October 11 in Johannesburg, South Africa at FNB Stadium, before continuing with additional stops in Delhi, India, Seoul, Korea, Sanya, Hainan, China, and Tokyo, Japan. Scott's CIRCUS MAXIMUS WORLD TOUR originally kicked off October 2023 and included 76 sold-out stops across North America, Europe, UK, Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand throughout 2023 and 2024. The tour concluded as the highest grossing rap tour in history with $209.3 million and 1.7 million tickets sold.

Yas Waterworld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, has officially opened the doors to its highly anticipated expansion — adding over 13,445sqm of attractions.
