Tony Hawk 3+4 Will Be Shadow Dropped Soon
Following Jones' viral comments in the Breakfast Club podcast, known leaker eXtas1s claimed Pro Skater 3 and 4 remasters will be shadow dropped for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC during an Xbox Games Showcase scheduled to take place in June 2025.
EXtas1s didn't mention last-gen platforms, so those who enjoyed the 1+2 remasters on the PS4 might have to make the jump to current-gen, if they haven't already.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 and 4 originally released in 2001 and 2002, respectively. Vicarious Visions, who worked on the 1+2 remaster, co-developed the original games. Activision, which is now part of Microsoft, continues to own the IP.
As usual, take all rumors with a grain of salt until official confirmation. However, given that Jones outright mentioned being in a new Tony Hawk remaster, we think this rumor is at least partially true. One ResetEra user added weight to the rumor, revealing that their friend pitched an ad for the game that was subsequently turned down.

The Rogue Prince of Persia is officially out for PC and consoles
Ubisoft and Evil Empire's long-awaited The Rogue Prince of Persia is finally out and available for purchase. It's been in early access on Steam for over a year and the developers have made plenty of changes during that time to get the game ready for a general launch. It's available for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X/S and PS5. It's also playable in the cloud by using the Xbox Cloud service, Ubisoft+ and Amazon Luna. Nintendo fans will have to wait a bit longer. The game's coming to the Switch and Switch 2, but not until later this year. For the uninitiated, The Rogue Prince of Persia is a sidescrolling roguelike with plenty of fast-paced action and a graceful move set inspired by other games in the franchise. Co-developer Evil Empire is the company behind the iconic Dead Cells , which is also a sidescrolling roguelike. Since launching in early access, developers have added more biomes and a new story, in addition to refining the gameplay and character designs. If you've been hankering for a new roguelike with some light Metroidvania elements (just like Dead Cells ), this could be the game you've been waiting for. It costs $30.

Watch: 'Resident Evil Requiem' trailer shows new hero Grace Ashcroft's past
Aug. 20 (UPI) -- Capcom has released a trailer for Resident Evil Requiem that provides a backstory for new protagonist Grace Ashcroft. The preview opens with Grace speaking with her mother, journalist Alyssa Ashcroft, inside their hotel room when the pair receive a mysterious phone call. Alyssa was a character in 2003's Resident Evil Outbreak. The power in the hotel goes out, making Alyssa realize they are in trouble. The trailer then switches to a brief gameplay segment as Grace follows her mother through the dark hallways of the hotel. The pair encounter a friendly hotel manager, who is quickly killed by a hooded, pale-skinned man. The trailer ends with Grace and Alyssa continuing on before Alyssa is seemingly attacked. An older Grace appeared in the first trailer for Resident Evil Requiem, where she was shown as an FBI agent working a case. Resident Evil Requiem, the ninth entry in the mainline Resident Evil video game series, comes to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S and PC on Feb. 27, 2026.

Xbox Ally handhelds will be available October 16, but we still don't know the price
Xbox gamers will have a new option for taking their library on the go this fall. During Gamescom 2025, ASUS revealed that the Xbox Ally handheld consoles will be on store shelves on October 16. We heard a thorough explanation of the specs and availability for the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X this summer, but the arrival date is the only new info to come from the major gaming event in Cologne. There's still no price available for these handhelds, but we expect to receive that critical detail along with pre-order information some time in the coming weeks. For comparison, the 2024 ROG Ally X costs $800 while the simpler ROG Ally Gaming Console from 2023 costs $500. So if we were hazarding guesses, the ROG Xbox Ally might come in at a price tag around $650, while the spiffier ROG Xbox Ally X could be more in the ballpark of $900. The Official Xbox Podcast also included a segment about the upcoming handhelds, with a pair of Xbox execs talking about the devices and their experiences using them for titles like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater , Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Balatro . The chatter is unsurprisingly very positive about the hardware, but it might have enough tidbits to hold you over if you're super amped about getting your own hands on an Xbox Ally this fall.
