Value Scope: Each way horseracing tips from Steve Jones for Friday day on ITV
The Betfred Derby Festival opens at Epsom with the running of the Betfred Oaks and our tipster has a view on the likely outcome of the fillies' Classic
Say hello to REVOIR (4.00) in the Betfred Oaks. Ralph Beckett's filly needs to show a fair chunk of improvement to have any chance in the fillies' version of the Epsom Classics.
The step up to 1m4f for the first time is certainly one valid reason why she might take a significant leap forward. Her staying on second behind Qilin Queen at Newbury three weeks ago came in a Listed race that has been won by subsequent Group 1 winners Nashwa and Sea Of Class in recent years.
The way she hit the line suggests this stiffer test of stamina is just what she wants and there has to be doubts about this distance for several of her rivals.
She is also likely to have sharpened up for that first run since making a successful debut in heavy ground at Nottingham last October and the softer ground is another positive. Have 1pt each-way at 10-1.
JULIA AUGUSTA (4.35) is worth chancing in the Trustatrader Handicap. She spent last summer running in Listed and Group races after joining David O'Meara from Roger Varian.
Her fourth behind smart Breege in the Group 3 Princess Elizabeth Stakes at this meeting 12 months ago was a cracking effort and it proves she handles this tricky track.
She was also far from disgraced in the Group 2 Duke Of Cambridge Stakes at Royal Ascot and the Group 3 Valiant Stakes.
This handicap will be an awful lot easier and, if she is anywhere near her best on her first start since November, she should have solid claims. Have 1pt each-way at 25-1. Sky Bet is paying out on five places.
WARDA JAMILA (3.15) ran really well when a close fourth in the City and Suburban Handicap on her first start of the season.
She returns to run over the same course and distance in the Betfred Nifty 50 Handicap, having failed to cope with Chester's tight turns last month.
The pick of her form from last year would give her a decent chance. Have 1pt each-way at 20-1. Sky Bet is offering five places.

Andorra vs England predictions: World Cup 2026 qualifying tips and odds
Our expert has three tips for Saturday's World Cup qualifying match between Andorra and England at the RCDE Stadium in Barcelona, Spain (kick-off, 5pm BST). We think England could rack up the goals in Catalonia. Andorra vs England tips England -3 goals on handicap @ 4/5 with Sky Bet Pau Babot to commit 3+ fouls @ 11/10 with Sky Bet BuildABet - England to win to nil, Andorra to commit 18+ fouls and Bukayo Saka to score or assist @ 3/1 with Sky Bet Odds courtesy of Sky Bet. Correct at the time of publication and subject to change. Already a Sky Bet member? Check out more free bets from the best betting sites, reviewed by our experts. England should ease to victory Finding the value in a mismatch such as this can be tough but England to win by four or more goals looks overpriced at 4/5 with SkyBet. Thomas Tuchel's tenure started with 2-0 and 3-0 wins over Albania and Latvia respectively, and Andorra are another level below those sides, sitting 173rd in the Fifa world rankings, and they in turn were outclassed in a 3-0 defeat by Albania in March. England are likely to field a strong side for this one with players likely to be rotated for the friendly with Senegal next week, and attacking players such as Ivan Toney, Eberechi Eze, Morgan Gibbs-White and Morgan Rogers will want to make their mark if given the chance. Inexperienced Babot may rack up fouls Given the uncertainty with team selections, punters should tread carefully in the player markets but 21-year-old Pau Babot has started Andorra's last two games and, if he gets a run out in this one, he could rack up the fouls. Babot's inexperience showed in his last two games for his country as he recorded two fouls against Albania and an almighty seven against Latvia. England averaged 73.8 per cent possession in their first two World Cup qualifiers, so Andorra will have plenty of work to do off the ball and Babot is a decent pick to commit 3+ fouls at 11/10. Saka can shine for new boss Tuchel Those looking for a BuildABet for this contest should start it with England to win to nil. The Three Lions have kept clean sheets in their last four competitive matches, limiting Latvia to just a single shot on target in March's 3-0 win, and Andorra are without their chief goal threat Albert Rosas. Andorra to commit 18+ fouls is another enticing selection. Only Bosnia (19.5) have averaged more fouls than Andorra (17.5) in World Cup qualifying so far and England should have the lion's share of possession. Complete the BuildABet selection with Bukayo Saka to score or assist with the Arsenal man expected to feature for the first time under Tuchel. The winger managed six goals and 10 assists in the Premier League this season. Andorra vs England odds All odds courtesy of Sky Bet. Correct at the time of publication and subject to change.

Minnie marvellous for O'Brien and Moore at Epsom
Desert Flower, the short-priced favourite and 1000 Guineas winner, was one of the first under pressure before stamina became an issue, although to her credit she stayed on bravely to finish third. Up front it was the Ballydoyle pair that pulled a long way clear, but it took all of the final furlong for Ryan Moore's mount to get on top of long-time leader Whirl, with the 9-2 chance eventually winning by a neck. O'Brien said: 'I've been delighted with this filly, she's got a great team around her and I'm so grateful to everybody. 'She's a very classy filly. She was just ready to run at Chester, she barely made it, but she made abnormal improvement from Chester, which we thought she might – it was all class rather than stamina or fitness, she just has a lot of class. 'Ryan gave her a beautiful ride, he loved her the last day and he loved her again today so it's very exciting. 'I'd say she's still a bit green. Obviously at Chester she learned a lot, but she was always going to improve with racing.' He added: 'What you love about her is she's a great traveller with a lot of class, Ryan said he was going very easy early on, so usually that means she can step up a couple of grades into even higher class races – she could take on the boys if the lads decide it. I'm delighted for them to have another filly like this.' Of the runner-up he said: 'Whirl ran a great race, she stays, she's by Wootton Bassett and it is very unusual what they are doing, they are speed horses but a lot are staying as well. Ryan Moore knows how to pick them 🤌 He guides Minnie Hauk to win the @betfred Oaks 💯 — Epsom Downs Racecourse (@EpsomRacecourse) June 6, 2025 'She was fighting back again at the line, that's incredible really.' Moore said: 'She began well and travelled strong early and I just wanted to make sure I was in a position to do what I wanted when I wanted. 'She just travelled a bit too strong and fell asleep on me then after I asked her to relax. The filly in front is a good filly and kept building the whole way and I just had to ask my filly to go to her and she quickened up very smartly and got there easily. 'Whirl came back and my filly found a little bit more. I think she'll improve for the experience and as far as three-year-old fillies go she's very good. 'She'll be (going for the) Irish Oaks/Nassau Stakes, that sort of thing, and we'll go from there. She's a lightly-raced filly and should improve.' Moore added: 'I rode some exceptional fillies in this race, Love and Minding spring to mind and Snow Fairy as well. She's got a way to go, but she's open to any amount of improvement.' While the Irish Oaks is on O'Brien's radar for Minnie Hauk, he also has one eye on the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at ParisLongchamp in October. He said: 'I would say there is every possibility this filly could be an Arc filly as she can go a lot stronger tempo than they went today, so that means she would be happy amongst the older horses. 'She's a classy filly and the improvement from here to Chester has been abnormal. She was a middle-distance filly working like a Guineas filly and when that happens it's a little bit different. 'The Irish Oaks is always close to our hearts and then there's the Yorkshire Oaks and the French trials and all those races are open to her before the Arc, but I think she's very classy and I think she's only going to improve.'
