No need to transfer any funds from your savings account to get any of these things.
1. A pair of perfectly pastel wireless over-the-ear headphones if you've been trying to save up to get a pair of AirPods Max, but groceries and rent have other things in mind for your paychecks. These have super soft ear cushions and a padded headband for optimal comfort, as well as a built-in mic to take calls. There's a decent chance you'll forget all about those AirPods Max with these affordable alternatives blasting your fave tunes in your ears!
iJoy is a small business that specializes in headphones and tech accessories.
BuzzFeed writer Emma Lord has a few things to say about these headphones:
"I own a pair of these because I'm vain as heck and need to own all things pink, but I was decently surprised by how well they muffle noise! I feel like these are ideal for people who still want to hear some of the world around them (read: parents, people working in open offices), but still want to listen to their tunes comfortably. The charge on these goes for at least four hours (I haven't tried it beyond that yet), and the Bluetooth connects to my devices super easily. Excellent pair of headphones for the price point."
Promising review: "These headphones surprised me. I thought they were not going to be as great because of how cheap they are, but the bass is amazing! The noise cancellation is so good that I can't hear anything. The volume is loud, and the sound quality is a win, just how I like it. Very snug and comfy, recommend! Thanks TikTok, lol :)." — Chevelle Revero
Get it from Amazon for $19.99+ (available in five colors).
2. A moisturizing and easy-to-use multipurpose blush stick to add some color and a long-lasting glow just about anywhere on your face. Plus, I've heard whispers that it's similar to the kinda pricey Pixi On-the-Glow Blush.
Promising review: "I bought this and my daughter immediately tried to steal it because she thought it was the real thing. Ha! This is so easy to use and a little goes a long way. This will last for a while. And was a fraction of the price of the brand name." — Amazon Customer
Get it from Amazon for $6.99 (available in three shades).
3. A delightful and spacious corduroy tote bag so you don't have to say no to the random little handmade tchotchkes being sold at outdoor markets this spring. That little winged pig figurine being sold by a solemn-looking lumberjack-type? You need her! And this bag comes in so many fun colors and patterns, you'll probably wanna add more than one to your cart.
Promising review: "I love this bag. It holds everything. I even used it as my extra allowed personal item on the plane, and I had all I needed tucked right in this bag. Even my water bottle and reading materials fit well. It's got cute style. It's easy to locate in the house because of its bright colors. Washes up fantastically. The snaps work great, so things do not easily spill out. The inside pockets are perfect for a phone and a small wallet and provide easy access to them." — L.
Get it from Amazon for $9.99+ (available in 38 styles).
4. Some Glisten garbage disposal cleaner that'll foam up and scrub your disposal, leaving a fresh scent behind instead of icky drain pipe odors.
www.amazon.com
Promising review:"Takes away that gross smell. It seems counterintuitive to put a little packet down your garbage disposal to clean it, but this does actually seem to work, at least for getting out weird smells that baking soda and vinegar don't really touch. I scrub the sink down first, especially around the garbage disposal area, rinse it down, and then just follow the directions on the package. I have used it with single, large-size sinks and with double sinks — the only difference is that the double sink will have blue cleaning foam rise up the drain, which you rinse away when the disposal sounds clear again. I have tried the foaming cleaner in a can, but unfortunately, it stopped coming out of the can about 10% of the way through. Went back to this tried and true." — KS
Get a pack of four from Amazon for $3.78 (available in other packs/sizes).
5. A dog paw scrubber — just squeeze the bottle to unleash the antibacterial foaming formula within and get those dirty spots off Spot's paws. This is perfect for at-home and on-the-go use!
Amazon,
Promising review: "I wanted something that would clean my baby's paws after our walks because I didn't want germs or dirt coming into the house. It smells great, it works well, and I can see that the rubber part doesn't bother my doggy! It's super easy to use, and I use it to keep her paws clean and my house clean! 10/10, especially for the price point!" — Thia

6. A moisturizing and exfoliating foot peeling spray to help get your feet in tip-top (or should I say "tip-TOE?") shape for sandal season. Formulated with aloe and coconut, this spray finds a way to be both effective and gentle. So, if you've got rough, dry, or cracked feet, add this to your weekly self-care routine. It only takes a couple of minutes!
Promising review:"I've been using this for a few years now. I've tried many brands and this is by far the best! The dead skin melts off effortlessly like butter, and the skin is left so smooth! I even use it on my hands once a week, and my hands are so soft and youthful-looking! It works great on rough elbow and knee skin. It's incredibly gentle on the skin. It's magic." — Vivi

They can be used on really any surface, but they are specifically good in those spots. They can be submerged in warm, soapy water and reused over and over again. They are comparable to the Scrub Daddy damp dusters. There are a bunch of them in the box, and they are all individually wrapped. A great deal and a great product!" — Bryn

I'm in my late 40s, and I always used moisturizers on my neck, but I still had dry-looking, crepey skin. Not anymore. "As someone who frequently colors and bleaches my hair, I've tried various repair treatments, including Olaplex, K18, and Boldplex. While all of them have improved my hair's quality, this protein treatment stands out as my favorite. The results are impressive—my hair feels repaired, with improved texture and shine, especially after chemical treatments. Promising reviews:"This smells amazing. Like vanilla and lemon pound cake. Smells like spring and happiness and the color yellow." — LG

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
Promising review:"I LOVE these little fish. I've been using them for about 2.5 years now and I truly believe they help keep the humidifier and water cleaner. People don't realize all the nasty mold and bacteria that can be growing in their humidifier and then released into the air in their room! I've noticed a huge difference in mold growth when I use these fish." — Shelly

21. A pack of Rael Beauty hydrocolloid acne patches for practically invisible coverage; they're ultra-thin and have a matte finish! These will help prevent you from picking at your skin and help draw out some gunk. And this pack comes with NINETY-SIX (96) patches in two sizes.
Promising review:"I RARELY write product reviews, and if I do, it's because something is either so terrible or so incredible that I can't keep it to myself, and these are the latter!! For some reason, I have a hard time getting pimple patches to really stick to my face, and I have very dry skin. I'm also not willing to regularly spend $15 on nine patches — so when I saw these 96, I repeat, 96 patches for this price, along with a good star rating, I just had to try them. And let me tell you, THEY ARE AMAZING!!
"I can put them on and then do all my skincare over top, including wetting my face for snail mucin, and they do not budge. They don't come off on my pillow or slide around, and I think they minimize and reduce redness WAY better than Cosrx, Mighty Patch, or Peach Slices. They pull out everything and don't leave you with a little whitehead to deal with in the AM. If you're not sure, just trust me, babe, I'm sure for you!" — Sydney
Get a 96-count pack from Amazon for $16.99.

Promising review:"I had some oil splatter in my air fryer (oven) that I had tried to scrub away, but it didn't even budge, so I went in search of an oven cleaner and came across this magical stuff. 25. A lash-extending E.l.f. Cosmetics tubing mascara that uses tubing tech to extend the look of your lashes beyond their natural length by wrapping around them. This long-lasting and lengthening formula leaves no lumps, no flakes, and no smudges. Plus, it contains 5% jojoba seed oil to condition lashes while giving you an epic lewk!
BuzzFeed writer Emma Lord is a big fan:
" I am not a new human to the tubing mascara game, and in fact readily spent $26 on the famous OG blend from Blinc every time it needed replacing. I didn't even love it for the length half as much as the fact that tubing mascara like this genuinely never smudges, but can I just say — regardless of price, the E.l.f. tubing mascara formula blows all the others I've tried out of the water. It gives me way more length and volume than other brands, slides on so much more easily, stays put ALL day, and never, ever smudges. My favorite part, though, is how gently and easily it comes off with soap and water. In the past, other mascara removals have felt rough on my lashes, but this comes off so fast that I'm like ??? was I even wearing mascara a minute ago?? Anyway, I hesitate even writing this review because I want to gatekeep the hell out of this before it sells out, but the world needed to know. I'm a big fan of the brown shade (which is what I'm wearing above!), but it also comes in black and soft black."
Get it from Amazon for $7 (available in three shades).
26. A handy bug-bite suction tool for mosquito bite relief because you're excited about tank tops and short shorts but not the fact that you'll be exposed to some nasty bloodsuckers. It pretty much sucks the irritant out from under your skin so you can live an itch-free life.
www.amazon.com
Promising review:"I am a magnet for bites of all kinds and carry topical and medicines with me at all times, so I figured this would be a good product to see if it really works. It arrived Monday and Tuesday morning. I woke up with a bug bite on my arm, so I used this little tool (three times per the instructions), and immediately after use, it stopped itching! Less than 24 hours later, the bite was gone! There is a very faint red mark from using the thing, but it's a small price to pay IMO. Bottom line: It's awesome. I'm carrying it with me everywhere!" — Rebecca
Get it from Amazon for $9.95 (available in five colors).
27. A delightfully scented foaming mousse formulated with coconut and shea oils to hydrate hair, define curls, and combat frizz. It's also a great mousse to use atop natural protective styles like knotless braids.
Promising review: "I've recently ordered products from a widely advertised company. They were VERY expensive. I got my curls with those products, BUT they left my hair stiff. I saw this product and read all the reviews and ordered one bottle just to test it out. This morning, I applied it to my dry hair and omgoodness. My hair is curly just the way I like it, smells wonderfully fresh, and IS NOT STIFF AT ALL. I cannot believe the price either. I am going to order SEVERAL bottles of this just to be on the safe side. BOYS AND GIRLS, BUY THIS." — Henny Warren

I spray on shovels to keep dirt or snow from sticking, spray around windows and thresholds to deter bugs, clean Sharpies off wood and walls, and, of course, stop squeaky doors. Promising review:"It works wonders on all my clothes, removing pilling and fuzz in seconds. I've used it on sweaters, old shirts, blankets, and even my couch! Everything looks brand new again. The design is sleek and easy to hold, and the adjustable settings make it perfect for different fabric types. The shaver is powerful yet gentle enough not to damage delicate fabrics. www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
Promising review:"The only reason I'm giving the Folex 5 stars is because there's no place to give it 10. My dog, Sweetie, while playing on the tan carpeting in the family room, got hold of a blue Pilot G2 pen and chewed through the outer casing and the ink cartridge, leaving an approximately 6x12-inch area of carpeting splotched with blue ink. It took four or five applications, but following the label instructions to the letter, the spot was totally removed. Way to go Folex. Outstanding!" — Bob
Get it from Amazon for $6.99.

"I'm a long-ish distance runner, and these were certainly an interesting experience for my feet! You slide them on and, after a few minutes, feel a tingling, mildly burning (in a good way) sensation. It doesn't quite numb your feet, but it relaxes them. I kept them on for 30 minutes and then toweled my feet off, and the tingling sensation slowly faded over the next 30 minutes. After that, my feet felt very refreshed and relaxed at a time of day when they're usually aching from all the miles I put in. The whole thing was a mess-free, easy process, and I will definitely keep them on hand for longer run days!"
Promising review:"After some shoes killed my feet after walking all day in Europe, this foot mask saved the day. It felt AMAZING on my feet and helped me recover a lot faster than just taking ibuprofen. Don't travel abroad without this!" — Maria

Reddit Sues Anthropic Over AI Training Breach

Reddit (NYSE:RDDT) has filed a federal lawsuit against Anthropic, the Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN)-backed creator of the Claude large language models, accusing the AI company of using Reddit's data without a license. The civil suit, reported by the Wall Street Journal, claims Anthropic trained its models on Reddit user content without permission and hit the platform's servers more than 100,000 times. According to the filing in California, Reddit attempted to negotiate a data licensing agreement with Anthropic but those discussions failed. Reddit has struck similar licensing deals with Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) and OpenAI. It argues that Anthropic knowingly used its platform to build AI products without securing the proper rights or user consent. The legal move comes shortly after Anthropic released new modelsClaude Opus 4 and Claude Sonnet 4aimed at advancing AI capabilities in coding, reasoning, and agent-based tasks. Shares of Reddit rose 7.5% in Wednesday afternoon trading following the announcement. This article first appeared on GuruFocus.

‘Paper Flowers' by Tim O'Brien and Jan Fabricius Review: Romance and Reflections

In a career of over 50 years as a music maker, Tim O'Brien has won recognition, praise and awards in folk music, bluegrass, country and roots rock as a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and songwriter. He was a founder of the progressive bluegrass band Hot Rize in the 1970s, playing fiddle and mandolin, and of the comical honky-tonk and Western-swing offshoot Red Knuckles and the Trailblazers. (Same band members, different getups.) He won the 2005 Grammy Award for Best Traditional Folk Album for the Irish-music-saluting 'Fiddler's Green,' and shared in the 2014 Best Bluegrass Album Grammy as a member of the Flatt & Scruggs-saluting Earls of Leicester. His 2017 album, 'Where the River Meets the Road,' celebrated the music of his native West Virginia; the state's Music Hall of Fame had inducted him by 2013. His songs have been recorded by everyone from Garth Brooks to Alison Krauss, and he's also toured and recorded solo and in folk duets with his sister, Mollie, and with Darrell Scott. For the past decade, he's been performing live with his wife, singer and mandolinist Jan Fabricius, and written songs with her, but they'd not gotten around to recording together until now, with their charming collaborative album 'Paper Flowers' (Howdy Skies, June 6).

Klarna CEO says company will use humans to offer VIP customer service

'My wife taught me something,' Klarna CEO Sebastian Siemiatkowski told the crowd at London SXSW. He was addressing the headlines about the company looking to hire human workers after previously saying Klarna used artificial intelligence to do work that would equate to 700 workers. 'Two things can be true at the same time,' he said. Siemiatkowski said it's true that the company looked to stop hiring human workers a few years ago and rolled out AI agents that have helped reduce the cost of customer support and increase the company's revenue per employee. The company had 5,500 workers two years ago, and that number now stands at around 3,000, he said, adding that as the company's salary costs have gone down, Klarna now seeks to reinvest a majority of that money into employee cash and equity compensation. But, he insisted, this doesn't mean there isn't an opportunity for humans to work at his company. 'We think offering human customer service is always going to be a VIP thing,' he said, comparing it to how people pay more for clothing stitched by hand rather than machines. 'So we think that two things can be done at the same time. We can use AI to automatically take away boring jobs, things that are manual work, but we are also going to promise our customers to have a human connection.' He spoke about how the company plans to balance employees and AI workers. Siemiatkowski said that right now, engineering positions at the company haven't shrunk as much as those in other departments, but he notes that this could shift. 'What I'm seeing internally is a new rise of businesspeople who are coding themselves,' he said, adding that the challenge many engineers have these days is that they are not business savvy. 'I think that category of people will become even more valuable going forward,' Siemiatkowski continued, especially as they can use AI and put their business understanding to good use. He himself is using ChatGPT to help him learn to code and help him understand more of the data side of Klarna. He said doing this has helped Klarna become a better company. Before, he thought he would never catch up in learning what was needed to take a more present role in database conversations at the company. 'I'll take a Slack thread, I'll throw it in ChatGPT and say, 'This makes sense, right?'' he said, adding that he uses ChatGPT like a private tutor. But he is also aware that AI isn't just about employees. He spoke of the increase in scams and how it impacts high-trust societies like his native Sweden. The Financial Times recently reported on the rise of fintech scams, pointing out, for example, how susceptible residents in Singapore can be to them because they are more naturally trusting of various institutions. 'And AI is obviously accelerating this,' Siemiatkowski said. Siemiatkowski also once again addressed why the company stopped using Salesforce and Workday, saying it was because Klarna wanted to consolidate its data in a way that would be easier to feed into AI. He said, for example, if Klarna wanted to gather information about one of its clients, it would have to go through the Google Suite, Slack, Workday, Salesforce, and so forth. 'We realize that the only way forward is going to be to consolidate [data],' he said, adding that the company stopped using around 1,200 small software services. About it's pending IPO? He indicated that Klarna could soon move ahead with it but was otherwise noncommittal. 'I can say that I'm happy there's less turbulence in the market,' he said with a smile. And if he had a magic wand and could change one thing? He would make the U.K. part of the EU again. The crowd then erupted into applause.
