‘I'll be happy with my millions and my mansion' – Snooker star hits back at Stephen Hendry over legacy claims
SEVEN-time world snooker champion Stephen Hendry certainly knows a thing or two when it comes to leaving a legacy in the sport.
But his comments about a current star needing another world title haven't gone down all that well with the man in question.

The 2025 World Snooker Championship kicked off this week and Hendry, 56, will have a front row seat for much of the action in his role as commentator and pundit.
Fellow legend Ronnie O'Sullivan could break the record he shares with Hendry of seven world titles at the Crucible this year.
O'Sullivan, 49, is seeded fifth for the tournament and in most of the betting markets he is second-favourite.
The man seeded first is reigning champion Kyren Wilson but it's Judd Trump who is leading the betting.

Trump, 35, is seeded second this week but punters clearly think he is the man to beat in Sheffield.
To date, Trump has just one world title to his name despite an impressive career so far that has him currently in fourth place on the list of all-time list of ranking event winners.
But Hendry believes the Ace in the Pack needs another world championship to his name to properly seal his place among the greats.
But five-time Triple Crown winner Trump thinks differently.
When asked if he "needed" another world title, Trump quipped after his first round victory against Zhou Yuelong: "No, I'd be happy with the money and stuff I've earned already.
"I'd hopefully be playing golf every day and living in Dubai in a massive mansion. I'm not gonna be disappointed.

"But I don't put any pressure on myself. I'm very happy with my career record in Triple Crowns.
"I know how difficult they can be and on a couple occasions in the UK and the Worlds I could have been say here on three or more.
"There's only fine margins I've lost, and to a lot of the greatest players of all time in those finals."
One thing to monitor is that Trump has been battling injury.
The Bristolian revealed that he'd had a neck problem that had been affecting him of late.

He said: "I've had two injuries, luckily, they, they're both kind of gone.
"The neck injury was probably the worst really.
'I think a few players have had that kind of problem recently. It's very, very hard to play being a snooker player but I managed to get treatment just in time luckily.
'I've been practising every day, it was just a snooker player injury. I woke up one day and couldn't look to one side.
"I've had it a couple times now. I think the awkward positions we get into, I think as you get older a lot of people struggle with it.
"I hopefully should be all good now and just concentrate on the snooker."

Palace co-owner John Textor would sell shares for Europa League chance
The American, whose Eagle Football Group owns 43 per cent of Palace, has imperilled the club's chance of a first-ever European campaign owing to his involvement with Ligue 1 side Lyon, but is ready to offload his stake to his fellow co-owners in order to bring the saga to an end. UEFA does not allow clubs with the same ownership to compete in the same European competitions in a season. Eberechi Eze scored the winning goal when Palace beat Manchester City in the FA Cup final (Adam Davy/PA) As well as his stake in Palace, the 59-year-old has a controlling stake in the French club, also via Eagle Football. However it is also reported that the European governing body does not consider Textor's influence at Selhurst Park to be decisive and is leaning towards allowing the club into the Europa League regardless. The PA news agency understands no formal decision is likely on Palace's fate until the end of June. Textor has previously spoken of his frustration at how little influence his stake entitles him to, over football matters. Victory for Oliver Glasner's side over Manchester City in last month's FA Cup final gave them their first major trophy and with it a first crack at Europe. Nottingham Forest – who are owned by Evangelos Marinakis – have written to UEFA challenging Palace's involvement in the Europa League (Mike Egerton/PA) However, Nottingham Forest have since written to UEFA to challenge Palace's Europa League spot and in the hope of taking their place. Forest's owner Evangelos Marinakis, who also owns Greek side Olympiacos, placed his shares in the club in a blind trust before the governing body's March 1 deadline, anticipating Nuno Espirito Santo's side's European qualification. At present Forest, who finished seventh in last season's Premier League, are set to enter the Conference League but would take Palace's Europa League place, should they be deemed ineligible.
