7NEWS05-06-2025

If you love a flawless manicure without the salon price tag or time commitment, Ezmio Beauty's at-home mani kits have become a go-to essential.
Whether it's their easy-to-use one-step gels or statement-making press-ons, Ezmio has transformed how women do their nails, saving time, money, and stress, all from the comfort of your own home.
Now, the brand behind these game-changing mani kits is about to launch its biggest End of Financial Year (EOFY) sale ever, making it the perfect time to stock up on nail essentials or finally try that DIY mani you've been eyeing.
For example, Ezmio's Basic Starter Kit, normally $189, is now on sale for $167. The kit is a super easy to use, at home gel nail starter kit with three different gel colours, a nail lamp, an essential nail buffer and nail file.
Shoppers have given the nail kit, a 4.9-star rating on Ezmio's website.
'I absolutely love this kit,' one customer wrote.
'The quality is amazing, ' another shopper added.
Running officially from June 26 to June 30, this major sale event will feature up to 40 per cent off select items, with a minimum of 20 per cent off sitewide. That means fan favourites, bestsellers, and must-have nail essentials will be available at some of the lowest prices ever.
But there's a catch — in the best possible way.
Customers who sign up early get exclusive early access on June 24 and June 25, giving them two full days to shop before the general public. That's two extra days to snag popular items before they sell out (which, if history is any indicator, they absolutely will).
And Ezmio's not stopping there.
Every order during the sale period enters customers into the draw to win an $1,000 Flight Centre voucher — a chance to escape the winter chill and head somewhere sunny.
Even better, orders placed during the early access days (24–25 June) receive double entries into the giveaway, doubling the chances to win with every purchase.
To get early access and a reminder the moment the sale starts, customers simply need to sign up on the linked page here. With unbeatable savings and a dream holiday on the line, this is not a sale to sleep on.
Ezmio Beauty is an Australian, female-founded and owned brand that believes every woman deserves beautiful, salon-quality nails—without the salon visit.
From one-step gels to professional-grade tools, it's the ultimate one-stop shop for at-home nail care that works for real life.

Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series Hybrid confirmed for Australia

Toyota Australia has confirmed its first LandCruiser 300 Series Hybrid will be in local showrooms from 2026. The automaker announced the hybrid will use a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol engine and electric motor in a parallel arrangement – meaning both the engine and the electric motor are able to provide drive to the wheels. According to the brand's Middle Eastern division, the system outputs are 341kW/790Nm. Toyota Australia has not released any further details on the vehicle but has said the drivetrain offers more power and torque over the current LandCruiser 300's 227kW/700Nm 3.3-litre twin-turbo diesel. Global specs indicate a 10-speed automatic will feature, aligning the LC300 Hybrid with the related Lexus LX700h. It also said both hot and cold testing has taken place in the Middle East as part of the vehicle's development, claiming it is being engineered with 'true off-road capability and reliability front of mind'. 'We have always said that Toyota aims to offer the right powertrains to suit our customers, and we are excited to introduce the first performance hybrid LandCruiser next year, which will offer a level of capability never before seen on our flagship four-wheel drive.' It sees the LandCruiser beat rival Nissan Patrol in offering a hybrid, despite the Nissan setting an Australian sales record in 2024 with only a V8 petrol engine available locally in the ageing Y62 generation. The next-generation Y63 Nissan Patrol is due in Australia late next year or early 2027 with a more powerful twin-turbo V6 petrol engine. More details on the Toyota LandCruiser 300 Hybrid will be revealed ahead of the vehicle's 2026 Australian launch. Supplied Credit: CarExpert MORE: Everything Toyota LandCruiser

Powerball draw 1517: $100 million winning ticket sold in Sydney east as Australia-wide search is launched

Lottery officials are casting the net far and wide after one ticket won the entire $100 million Powerball jackpot, revealing where the ticket was sold and how anyone in Australia could be holding it. Powerball draw 1517 offered a massive $100 million first division prize after weeks passed with no ticket taking out the number one prize. However, on Thursday, one Australian became $100 million richer. The problem? According to The Lott, the winner doesn't know yet. Winning numbers in Powerball draw 1517 on Thursday June 12, 2025 were 28, 10, 3, 16, 31, 14 and 21. The all-important Powerball number was 6. The Lott has revealed the ticket was sold in Sydney's eastern suburbs, however, that area is connected to the the Sydney Airport train line, meaning it could be a local, someone passing by, or an Australian now thousands of kilometres away somewhere else in the nation. 'We are asking for everyone to check their ticket,' The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart told The Nightly on Friday morning. 'This person doesn't know they have won!' Mr Hart fears the new millionaire may have gone to bed early and missed the draw, or may just be blissfully unaware of their new-found fortune. 'We know it was sold in store, not online,' Mr Hart said, confirming the ticket was not registered. 'It was sold in Sydney's eastern suburbs, however, it could be someone who lives in the area or someone who passes through.' Mr Hart explained it takes two weeks for the payment of the winning ticket to go through, so he is hoping the winner comes forward now so that their fortunate can be deposited by June 30. 'That would be the best way to end their financial year!' Lotto officials hope that the winner will realise that are in possession of the $100 million ticket on Friday, but are already making plans to help find the winner if they do not come forward. 'Because it is such a big prize, tomorrow (Saturday) morning, we will release the outlet details,' Mr Hart said. In NSW, the winner has up to six years to claim their winnings. 'I hope it doesn't take that long to unite this winner with their $100 million,' he added. Mr Hart said he wouldn't be camping out at the store personally in hope of finding the winner, but said most outlets celebrate selling a winning ticket like a win of their own. 'The store themselves will go for it in hope of helping the winner claim their $100 million prize.' In addition to the massive $100 million win, there were 3,056,245 other wins across Australia for division two to nine. There were 6 division two winners who each scored $282,415.55. 'If you discover you're holding the division one winning entry, hold on tight to that ticket and phone 131 868 as soon as possible so that we can start the prize claim process,' Mr Hart said. Although he enjoys the search, Mr Hart reminded players to register their ticket so they can receive a life changing phone call. 'This is also an important reminder for players to register their lottery tickets to a player card or online account with The Lott Members Club, so if they are to score a major prize, we can reach out to them with the winning news.'
