China developing network of hypersonic drones, inventing smart swarm weapons, plan is to..., Should India be worried?
Hypersonic drone: Drones have become common in today's era. Every country is using it. But, only a few countries have hypersonic missiles as the technology is complex. However, it will become common in the future. China has claimed to make hypersonic drones and is engaged in creating a smart swarm by connecting these hypersonic drones in a network. According to reports, China started this project to deal with the US challenge.
While doing new research on China's hypersonic preparation drones, the search for such weapons has started that can attack simultaneously by connecting many unmanned combat air vehicles (drones) in a network. This technology is called swarm. This smart swarm is mentioned in a study by the Beijing Institute of Technology. Chinese scientists have started working on similar smart swarms. China is engaged in creating a smart swarm by connecting hypersonic UCAVs, which travel 5 times faster than the speed of sound inside the atmosphere, to a network. This smart swarm is more dangerous than a single missile. Although this hypersonic weapon will be slower than a ballistic missile, but due to its ability to fly at low altitude, it will be difficult to catch them through radar or any other means. Not only this, nuclear weapons can also be fired through these smart swarms.
US also working on similar project
America also started a similar program in 2017, which was named MSET i.e. Missile Multiple Simultaneous Engagement Technology. In this, many missiles can be used together to target different targets. According to experts, MSET is not a strategic system with a hypersonic missile, but it is a small-scale tactical system. Chinese scientists are preparing to create a similar swarm, but with hypersonic missiles.
Drones have changed the way of traditional warfare
India is also technically preparing itself for future warfare. The Indian Army has also incorporated swarming technology. HAL is also developing a more modern and long-range system on the same lines. The name of this system is CATS i.e. Combat Air Team System. This system can be operated from a single fighter with three different drones. The first drone system is CATS Warrior, the second is CATS Hunter and the third is CATS Alpha. However, the way China is engaged in enhancing its technology and is making itself stronger through the network of hypersonic drones, it can also be a matter of concern for India.

China, Pakistan shaking with fear as India plans to prepare THIS missile under DRDO's secret 'Project Vishnu', not Brahmos or Agni but...

Representative image- Missile After India conducted Operation Sindoor, the missiles of India including the BrahMos missile created havoc in Pakistan, destroying the Chinese supplied air defence systems. Reports also say that India is also preparing the BrahMos missile in collaboration with Russia. However, media reports are now claiming that India is preparing to test a hypersonic cruise missile under Defence Research and Development Organisation DRDO's secret Project Vishnu. Here are all the details you need to know about the End to End Test of Long Duration Hypersonic Cruise Missile. As per a report by the Navbharat Times, DRDO is preparing missile which can prove to be a strategic game changer. With a range of over 1,500 km, 1,000–2,000 kg, the missile has a reported speed of Mach 8. It can carry nuclear or conventional warheads, significantly enhancing India's defense capabilities. The new hypersonic cruise missile is being prepared under DRDO's secret Project Vishnu, as part of Project ET-LDHCM (End to End Test of Long Duration Hypersonic Cruise Missile). DRDO successfully conducts scramjet engine ground test In a significant development from few months back, DRDO successfully tested a cutting-edge Active Cooled Scramjet Combustor (engine) ground test for 120 seconds for the first time in India. An official said that it marks a crucial milestone in developing next-generation hypersonic missiles. Hypersonic missiles are a class of advanced weaponry that travel at speeds greater than Mach 5 which is five times the speed of sound or more than 5,400 km/hr. These advanced weapons have the potential to bypass existing Air Defence Systems and deliver rapid and high-impact strikes. Supersonic Combustion Ramjet Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL), a Hyderabad-based laboratory has taken the initiative to develop a long-duration Supersonic Combustion Ramjet or Scramjet-powered Hypersonic technology. DRDL recently developed these technologies. The ground test of the scramjet combustor showcased several notable achievements, demonstrating its potential for operational use in Hypersonic vehicles, like successful ignition and stable combustion. Ignition in a scramjet engine is like 'keeping a candle lit in a hurricane'. (With inputs from agencies)

BEML signs licensing agreements with DRDO to manufacture advanced combat support vehicles for Army

BEML Limited on Monday said it has entered into three licensing agreements with the Vehicles Research and Development Establishment ( VRDE ), a premier DRDO laboratory, for the Transfer of Technology to manufacture critical mobility and support systems for the Indian Army's Armoured Corps. Under these agreements, Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) will indigenously develop and produce the Unit Maintenance Vehicle (UMV) and Unit Repair Vehicle ( URV ) for MBT Arjun , and the Full Trailer for 70T Tank Transporter equipped with an Advanced Hydraulic Suspension System. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in enhancing the Indian Army's operational capabilities through fully indigenous, next-generation solutions aligned with the Government of India 's "Aatmanirbhar Bharat" vision to achieve self-reliance in critical defence technologies, BEML said in a release.

No AI allowed: China shuts down DeepSeek and other AI chatbots for university entrance tests

Major Chinese technology companies have temporarily disabled key artificial intelligence features to prevent cheating during the country's high-stakes university entrance examinations. More than 13.3 million students are currently sitting the four-day "gaokao" tests, which began Saturday and determine their chances of securing limited university spots. Alibaba , Tencent , and ByteDance have suspended photo-recognition capabilities in their popular AI chatbots during exam hours. When students attempted to upload exam questions to apps like Doubao (owned by TikTok 's parent company) and Qwen, the services responded that question-answering functions were unavailable "to ensure fairness in the college entrance examination," according to Bloomberg reports. DeepSeek , a generative AI tool that gained prominence earlier this year, also blocked its services during specific hours for the same reason. Screenshots shared on Chinese social media platform Weibo showed frustrated students encountering these restrictions even when claiming their queries weren't exam-related. The AI suspensions represent just one layer of anti-cheating measures deployed during gaokao week. Several provinces have implemented AI monitoring systems to detect "abnormal behaviors" like whispering or suspicious glances between students during exams, The Guardian reported. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Medical Mystery Solved: Dementia and Memory Loss Has Been Linked To This Common Thing. vitalgethealth Click Here Undo Chinese authorities have also introduced stricter entry protocols, including biometric identification, enhanced screening for digital devices, and radio signal blockers at exam sites. The gaokao's significance extends beyond academics, some cities have postponed public events, delayed office hours, and created priority traffic lanes to ensure students arrive on time. For many Chinese families, particularly those from smaller cities and lower-income backgrounds, this exam represents the primary pathway to higher education and social mobility.
