Kannappa OTT release: When to expect Vishnu Manchu, Prabhas' Telugu action drama on a streaming platform
Kannappa OTT release: Kannappa, one of the most eagerly awaited pan-India films of the year, hit the screens on June 27 and opened to a good response at the Indian box office. According to Sacnilk, it earned Rs 9 crore (nett) on the first day. The action drama will premiere on an OTT after its run in theatres. Here's an update on when you can expect the biggie on a streaming platform. Kannappa may arrive on OTT in September Vishnu Manchu is in the limelight because of Kannappa, the biggest film of his career. He recently revealed that the film's OTT rights are yet to be sold as he wants it to get an extended run in theatres. 'I have a very large freedom; my movie will not come to OTT before 10 weeks. He further confirmed that Kannappa will be available on a streaming platform around 10 weeks after its theatrical release, As such, one can expect it to be available on an OTT platform around September 11. Vishnu Manchu plays the lead role in this larger-than-life tale. Kannappa also features Prabhas in a powerful cameo while Akshay Kumar makes a special appearance. Huma Qureshi performed in Dil Thaam Ke from Rajkummar Rao's Maalik for free: ‘Doston se kaise paise le'
Actor Huma Qureshi is starring in a song titled Dil Thaam Ke in Rajkummar Rao's upcoming film Maalik. In an interview with India Today, she confirmed that she did not charge a fee to perform in the song as she didn't want to charge money from friends. She also stated that shooting for Maalik felt like 'a bunch of friends coming together,' so she had to say yes. Confirming that she didn't charge a single rupee for the track, Huma said, 'Doston se kaise paise le sakte hai (How can one borrow money from friends?) It was just two days of shooting, so I felt it really wasn't necessary to take money.' However, one particular day on set turned into a 16-hour schedule, she recollected, due to a complicated shot that was 'no one's fault'. 'I don't believe in walking away, saying my shift is over. My conditioning is such that if I'm at work, I'll finish my job and then leave. So yes, it went on for 16 hours, but it wasn't planned. It was just one of those intense days on set,' she said. Music director Harry Anand, who launched Shefali Jariwala in the iconic music video 'Kaanta Laga', is in deep shock after hearing about the actor's sudden exclusively to India Today, Anand recalled the moment he first got the heartbreaking news and reflected on their early memories together and the era that made the actor a household names.'I was in the middle of a music recording when one of my assistants called and said, 'Harry, I'm going to give you some very shocking news,'' Anand shared. 'I told him to break it gently, as just last month I lost my sister, and before that, my mother — both while I was in London, attending funerals over the phone. My heart started sinking. 'Sometimes news like this turns out to be a hoax or a publicity stunt. I told myself I'd wait till morning to confirm it, but then it began to spread everywhere.
