Dakota Johnson's Revealing Dress Derails Fallon Interview

Buzz Feed2 days ago

We've all had those times when you leave the house in a hot little outfit, only to arrive at the function and suddenly have regrets. Well, it looks like Dakota Johnson found herself in one of those situations this week — only, to make things worse, she was on TV.
On Monday night, Dakota was a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and stunned for the occasion in a black mini-dress with a plunging neckline that exposed rather a lot of cleavage.
And while she looked gorgeous, Dakota couldn't hide her discomfort from the moment she sat down on the couch and began trying to adjust her outfit from every angle. 'Are you OK?' Jimmy asked, seemingly picking up on her edginess. 'This is the wrong outfit,' she replied.
Jimmy reassured her that she looked great, and the two awkwardly laughed it off. Although for the next 20 seconds or so, they struggled to keep their composure as they both tried to ignore the, ummm, elephant in the room.
'Just don't move,' Jimmy said, as he tried to navigate the situation before him.
'My eyes are up here,' Dakota quipped, prompting the host to look up at the ceiling in joking despair. 'I don't know where…I can't even,' he said. 'I can't even look there. I don't even know what to do.'
After a few more giggles, they were able to get the interview back on track. But it wasn't long before the voices in Dakota's head took over and forced her to halt the conversation once again. 'Tell me if there's a problem,' she said, looking down at her chest and covering herself with her hands.
Handling things as best as he could and, importantly, trying to keep his eyes in the right place, Jimmy joked: 'There's almost a problem, but not quite.'
'Does anyone have, like, a blanket I could wear?' Dakota asked, before Jimmy got creative with the tissues at his desk.
'That's perfect. No one will even know the difference,' he said, later joking that he'd sell the tissue on eBay. LOL.
Honestly, I could feel the discomfort through my screen. And though it made for some pretty funny TV, people in the YouTube comments section seem to be a little confused as to why she or her stylist didn't think the outfit through before she walked out.
'Why did she wear this silly outfit?' one person commented. 'she was clearly uncomfortable from the second she sat down.''why do the stylists do this? why make the artist uncomfortable?' commented another.
Well, we can all agree that Dakota still looked great, and she and Jimmy certainly handled the discomfort like pros. Lessons learned all around.

eBay seller near Bolton gets £157 for rare and 'most sought-after' 50p coin

While coins are being used less nowadays, thanks to the digital technology that means we can swipe and pay for our everyday essentials, having some cash can still be beneficial. Coins are also sometimes valuable, so it's worth checking what you have before spending them on your next purchase. In Manchester, an eBay seller received more than £157 when they listed a Kew Gardens 50p coin for sale. With 25 bids, the coin, which features the Kew Gardens pagoda with a decorative leafy climber twining in and around the tower, caused a mini-bidding war on the online auction site. The Kew Gardens 50p coin sold for more than £157 in Manchester (Image: eBay) It was sold for £157.08, and the Royal Mint says 'the Kew Gardens 50p is arguably the most sought-after' 50p coin and 'one of our most iconic and loved 50p coins'. It added that you might not get one in your change as they are so rare and often belong to collectors: 'Nothing gets people excited quite like this original 2009 design. "Just 210,000 were released into circulation and with almost all of them in private hands, the chances of coming across one in your change are slim.' The Royal Mint explained: 'The venerable institution depicted on the Kew Gardens 50p coin is the nation's most famous royal botanical garden. 'The reverse design, created by Christopher Le Brun RA, features the famous Chinese Pagoda at Kew with a decorative leafy climber twining in and around the tower. 'Demand for the 50p denomination was not high at the time of release into circulation which explains the low mintage of this particular design.' Should Boston Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla worry about Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau's firing?

Should Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla be worried about the firing of New York Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau? The Knicks front office recently came to the decision that it was time to move on from Thibs despite the former Boston assistant coach having gotten New York farther than they have been in the playoffs for the last quarter-century. Mazzulla, for his part, saw his Celtics fall to the Knicks on their way to the 2025 NBA Eastern Conference Finals series many assumed Boston was a shoo-in to make at the start of the postseason. If the now-former Knicks coach is not safe, does that mean Mazzulla could also be at risk of losing his job? Or is this move by New York more indicative of their internal culture and lack of patience, and less of the league more generally? Advertisement The folks behind the "NESN" YouTube channel put together a clip from their "Boston has Entered the Chat" show to talk it over. Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what they had to say. This article originally appeared on Celtics Wire: Should Joe Mazzulla worry about Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau's firing?
