There are big doings in little Genoa City this week as family members take aim at Victor, Damian's big family reunion doesn't go so hot, and Harrison seems intent on reuniting Kyle and Summer! Read on for all the details.
This week, young Harrison, with Summer and Kyle, is enthused about having a family night. The boy declares tonight will be just like Halloween and adds, 'Maybe you'll even hug again!' It's downright adorable how hopeful he is, but something tells us that things might not go quite as he's hoping. Then again, not everyone on the canvas is thrilled to have Kyle and Claire dating, so maybe the kid is onto something!

Meanwhile, Nate finally told Damian that he had tracked him down because Amy asked him to, and she had something to tell him. Meanwhile, Amy was concerned about why her son hadn't come to see her, and she feared she was running out of time. When Nate finally brought Damian to see Amy, she immediately knew the man was not her son. The man explained his name was Holden, and he worked for Damian. With Holden's help, Nate was able to reach out to the real Damian and tell him that he needed to see his mother, who isn't looking well these days.
Next week, Damian faces off with Amy and Nate. To say that he's skeptical would be an understatement, and he definitely does not like being called 'bro' by… well, his brother. What will it take to bring this fractured family together again?
Finally, Victor remained opposed to his granddaughter dating his nemesis Jack's son. Claire thought Nikki could smooth things over with him, but even she failed to convince Victor to accept the relationship. Coming up, Victoria asks Claire, 'Is there anything I can do to help?' Claire replies, 'There is, yeah. You can tell me how to win a fight with Victor Newman.' Is that even possible?

American Love Story Offers a First Look at Its JFK Jr. and Carolyn Bessette — Plus, Find Out When It Premieres

Love is blooming this Valentine's Day on FX. The inaugural season of Ryan Murphy's new anthology American Love Story will premiere next February, Murphy announced on Instagram on Friday. In fact, Season 1 of Love Story — focusing on the ill-fated romance between John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette — will debut during the week of Valentine's Day, although a specific date and time have not been announced. Naomi Watts has also reportedly signed on to play JFK Jr.'s mother Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, with Grace Gummer as his sister Caroline Kennedy. 'We started shooting this week in New York City and can't wait until you see the romantic and tragic love story between America's prince, JFK Jr., and fashion icon Carolyn Bessette — out Valentine's Day week of 2026,' Murphy said in a caption. 'I am thrilled to introduce you to Sarah Pidgeon as Carolyn and Paul Kelly as John F. Kennedy Jr. Over a thousand actors auditioned for each of these roles, and we absolutely found the perfect choices.' JFK Jr., the son of the late U.S. President John F. Kennedy, married Bessette in 1996, but the two were tragically killed in a 1999 plane crash, along with her sister Lauren. American Love Story was first announced back in August 2021, with the first season focusing on JFK Jr. and Bessette. 'What started out as a beautiful union for the young couple, widely regarded as American royalty, began to fray under the stress of the relentless microscope and navel gaze of tabloid media,' the logline reads. 'The pressures of their careers and rumored family discord ended with their tragic deaths when his private plane crashed into the ocean on a hazy summer night off the coast of Massachusetts.' A kiss that led to a years-long nightmare, the Dull Men's Club, and a famous feminist mother

Happy Saturday! There was a lot to take in this week. Spacing out for a whole 90 minutes is the kind of challenge I need. Or perhaps a trip to the cinemas. But before I do that, let me bring you five stories worth your time. After a heart attack, Andrew McKean moved to a care facility. While stuck in the confines of a room for most of the day, McKean started writing about 'the slow unfolding of a life'. Sounds dull, right? Well, no actually – not once he started posting about it in the Dull Men's Club. What is it? An international club where people share online the tedium of everyday lives. Where? The idea originated in the 1980s in New York, when founder Grover Click and some friends decided to 'embrace their dullness', Susan Chenery writes. And now? It is immensely popular, with 1.9 million Facebook members on Click's original page. How long will it take to read: three minutes. Further reading: and then you must meet 'the dullest man in Britain'. Since retaking power in Afghanistan in 2021, the Taliban have enforced repressive laws on Afghan women through their 'morality police'. But now Afghan fathers, brothers and husbands say they are under pressure to ensure women in their families observe the restrictions. 'Changing attitudes and behaviours': the Guardian, with Rukhshana Media, interviewed men and young women about how morality laws are affecting families. One man from Bamyan province said: 'Men have become unpaid soldiers of the Taliban.' How long will it take to read: three minutes. Seventeen years ago, Nathan Dunne took a midnight swim in the icy waters of Hampstead Heath in London with his then girlfriend. As she kissed him in the cold, something inside him abruptly shifted. *** 'It was like being struck. Like something came down … The flip of a switch.' – Nathan Dunne. Dunne was locked out of his body, or at least that's how it felt, and had a sudden fear of water. Years later, he was diagnosed with depersonalisation disorder. How long will it take to read: five minutes. Guardian readers love architecture, but throw in some 'weekend-long parties and carnal pleasure', as Oliver Wainwright suggests, and you've got yourself a fabulous read on the hedonistic party palaces of New York's Fire Island. A 'queer Xanadu': Wainwright celebrates the legacy of late architect Horace Gifford, who defined the area's modernist beach-houses. 'It was made for sex': Calvin Klein is name dropped, including the time he bought one of Gifford's houses and had it renovated into a home 'made for sex'. How long will it take to read: four minutes. When Erica Jong's autobiographical novel Fear of Flying was published in 1973, it catapulted her to fame. The American author broke ground by writing openly about women's sexual desires – rarely done at the time. She quickly became known for her candour and wit. But for her daughter, Molly Jong-Fast, growing up as Erica's only child told a different story. A compelling read: In this excerpt from her new memoir, Jong-Fast reflects on the lingering pain of being 'still stuck in the mire of childhood', despite having 'created a different life' as an adult. How long will it take to read: nine minutes. Enjoying the Five Great Reads email? Then you'll love our weekly culture and lifestyle newsletter, Saved for Later. Mom's haircut moment turns preschool disaster into pure love

A preschool Valentine's Day party. A pair of craft scissors. And one very emotional 'first haircut' that didn't go as planned. What happened next? A mom's decision that turned heartbreak into healing—and inspired millions through a viral TikTok. Alexis Salerno (@lexfsal) shared the now-viral moment after her 4-year-old daughter had her hair cut by preschool friends during a playdate. It was her daughter's first-ever haircut—and it wasn't by choice. 'The girls got a hold of a pair of craft scissors from the craft station and cut my daughter's hair. My daughter is a bit shy and the youngest in the group. She shared with us that while she didn't tell them to stop in the moment, she didn't want her hair to be cut. This was my daughter's first haircut, her hair was down to her lower back, I was distraught looking at her soft baby curls on the floor,' Salerno told Newsweek. Related: 'Is that standard?': What one viral TikTok haircut revealed about parenting in 2025 After calling her husband home from work, Salerno took their daughter to a local salon. The stylists tried to reshape what was left of her long curls, but emotionally, the loss lingered. 'Many evenings she cried and asked her daddy to draw hair on her back, asked if he could make it grow back, and would cry in the evenings before be,d saying 'I don't feel like myself, I miss myself. I don't like my little hair. Mommy, how do you spell Please don't ever cut my hair agai,n friends?'' she shared. It was a haircut that carried the weight of personal reinvention. So Salerno made a bold, love-filled decision. Salerno, who had worn her hair waist-length her entire life, chopped it all off into a chin-length bob—and documented it in a viral TikTok that has since earned more than 2.9 million views. 'When I picked her up from school with my bob, her face lit up. She was SO excited. She ran over and gave me a big hug. Now she says we both have 'little hair' and she matches mommy,' Salerno told Newsweek. To help her daughter see the beauty in her new look, Salerno and her husband went all in: a pixie-cut Barbie, playing music by Pink, and pointing out strong, short-haired role models from athletes to actors. 'My husband and I did everything we could to celebrate her new 'do… and continued to tell her how special she was, no matter the length of her hair and that being different is cool,' she said. The TikTok video sparked a wave of support and admiration across the platform. 'The social media reaction has been wild! I'm new to TikTok and honestly still learning how to use the platform. People are generally being so kind and supportive,' she said. She also clarified that the incident didn't happen at school, despite what some commenters assumed. 'Other people are assuming this happened in school and are blaming the teacher they think is responsible for allowing this to happen. I've commented to clarify this happened outside of school,' she explained. Salerno is clear: while the moment was upsetting, it became an opportunity to model something deeper. 'I fully understand these are young kids and mistakes happen, I think everyone has learned from it. We have been able to teach our girl about resilience at a young age and that we've got her no matter what life throws at her,' she said. And for herself? 'I'm actually really liking the shorter locks, it feels freeing and it's nice to have a change after 30+ years of the same style,' she added.
