Celebrations continue at PCB Mardi Gras
PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WMBB) – You don't have to travel to New Orleans to get the Mardi Gras feel. The festivities are in full swing at Panama City Beach's annual Mardi Gras and Music Festival.
The Krewe of Dominique Youx is hosting this year's celebration at Pier Park. It kicked off Friday night with its opening ceremonies, parades, live music, and more.
On Saturday, the fun continued with 'The Band Feel' at the Aaron Bessant Park stage and headliner Chris Janson. Colored beads and candy flew as the Krewes Mardi Gras at the Beach Parade rolled down Pier Park Drive.

Entertainers say interacting with the community is what makes events like these so special.
'Kids are my favorite because they'll run up to you, just drop their jaw and say, how are you doing that? And you can say, a wizard gave me powers or whatever. And they're my biggest fans. And so I really love doing that for the public. You know, it's one of those jobs where I go home at the end of the day, and I feel like I actually made a little bit of a difference in somebody's life,' Professional juggler Morgan Peace said.
The end of this year's Mardi Gras will be capped off with a firework show at 7:15 Saturday night.
