Muhammad's daughter Hana said in a touching tribute: "In Loving Memory of My Uncle Rock. "Today, the last living member of my father's immediate family returned to heaven. "My Uncle, lovingly known as Rock, was a sweet, gentle soul with a heart as big as the world. "He had that same sparkle in his eye that my father had… that same light, that same mischief, that same love. "They were close their entire lives, brothers by blood, but friends by choice. "Even as children, their bond was extraordinary. My father loved his brother like he was his own child. "I can just picture them now, reunited in heaven… playing Cowboys and Indians with the broomsticks they used to find in Mama Bird and Papa Cash's closet. Daddy always insisted on being the Cowboy, and Rock the Indian. "Or maybe they're back to one of their favourite games, Daddy convincing Rock to throw actual rocks at him so he could prove how fast he was by dodging them. "Whatever they're doing up there, I know it's full of joy, laughter, and the kind of brotherly love that helped shape our family. "Uncle Rock had a heart of gold. He never needed a spotlight to shine, and I believe that now, from above, he and Daddy are part of something bigger… something beautiful… something meant to help heal this broken world. "God bless you, Uncle Rock. You will be missed. You will be forever loved. "And when my time comes, I hope you and Daddy will both be there, waiting to welcome me home." DeVone Holt, who is the president of the Muhammad Ali Center, added: "You can't tell Muhammad's story without mentioning Rahaman. "He was one of the most constant sources of support for Muhammad during his career and their relationship was a true example of what it means to be my brother's keeper." Martyn Latchman, 38, flew to Istanbul to have a five-hour operation on Monday at Dr. Cinik's clinic in the city's Besiktas district. He is said to have suffered complications while undergoing the hair transplant procedure. His body was later taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute for an autopsy before being repatriated to the UK. Police have launched a probe, treating the case as a possible 'reckless homicide'. Staff at the clinic — including the surgeon who performed the hair transplant, the anaesthesiologist and nurses — have already been quizzed by officers, it is understood. An FCDO spokesperson told The Sun: "We are supporting the family of a British man who died in Turkey and are in contact with the local authorities." Tributes are now pouring in from friends and family for Mr Latchman, whose body has since been flown home. Yashley Latchman posted a picture of keen athlete Mr Latchman on Facebook with the pair working out in a gym. The caption read: "Rest in peace my brother. You will forever be my source of inspiration and motivation. "Thanks for everything. We will miss you loads." According to Dr Cinik Clinic's website, it has treated "more than 50,000 patients" since setting up almost 20 years ago. The website says the clinic has "cutting-edge technology" and is a "centre of excellence in this specialised field". It adds: "Every patient gets personalised care in English, plus access to cutting-edge techniques. "The combination of surgical experience and patient support has made him the go-to specialist for people worldwide." 5 Brit underwent a five-hour operation at the Dr Clinik's clinic (pictured) The tragedy comes amid a boom in 'medical tourism' to Turkey, which now accounts for nearly 60 per cent of the global hair transplant market thanks to its cheaper, high-quality procedures. Turkish Healthcare Travel Council says more than one million people travel to the country each year for hair restoration treatments. According to Dr. Serkan Aygin Clinic, numbers are expected to climb to 1.1 million in 2025, the Daily Mail reports. It follows the shocking death of 58-year-old British mum Anne Towlson, who passed away last year after a botched cosmetic surgery trip to Istanbul. Mrs Towlson, from Leicestershire, had flown to Turkey in April 2024 for a pre-planned tummy tuck and liposuction at Green Park Hospital in Pendik. When she arrived, doctors persuaded her to also undergo an arm tuck in a 'last-minute decision', her inquest heard. But she quickly developed alarming complications. BOTCHED OP Meanwhile, a British man was left scarred and with bald patches after a botched hair transplant in Istanbul. Luke Horsfield, then 26, paid £1,250 for the surgery at the Clinic Centre — around half the cost of a UK procedure — but said the results were disastrous. 'I did everything they told me to do as aftercare once I had the operation. But after four months, I saw literally no growth,' the IT technician from Bradford said. 'I was left with scars and bald patches.' Luke claimed the surgeons barely spoke English and had removed too many follicles from the back of his head, leaving him worse off than before. Despite the clinic's promise of 'transplant after care', he said he struggled to get hold of anyone once the operation was over. After months of disappointment, the clinic eventually offered him a £400 refund — barely a third of what he had paid — and a second procedure at half price. Luke later had the damage repaired at a Yorkshire clinic.

Welsh rock legend Dave Edmunds seriously ill in hospital after cardiac arrest
Welsh musician Dave Edmunds is gravely ill in intensive care following a cardiac arrest, according to his wife. The Cardiff-born performer, aged 81, reportedly died before being brought back to life, the Express reported. His spouse of 40 years, Cecilia Edmunds, known as Cici, posted a heartfelt message on Facebook describing the terrifying ordeal at their Rockfield home in Monmouthshire. Cici explained how she fought to "keep him alive" whilst a nurse administered "heavy CPR" on Dave at their residence. Cici recalled the nurse's devastating words: "Cici I'm gonna stop. Dave is gone. He is dead." Cici says she refused to give up on her husband and asked fans to send prayers and messages of support for Dave, who is critically ill in hospital. She revealed that he has suffered significant brain damage and memory loss, and is at a "high risk" of experiencing another cardiac arrest. She said: "I'm still in shock and I believe I have PTSD from the horrific experience. My brilliant talented funny and special Dave could really use as many peoples prayers and good wishes so to speak." "Thank you all for your support and well wishes. It means the world to me. Dave will have a very long journey ahead of him if he survives. We both have. "But knowing that there are kind hearted people such as you all. Makes this tremendously difficult journey a little easier. Bless you all. Sending you all much love and light and always." Fans have been sending their best wishes and support. One said: "All my love, support and prayers to Dave, and please stay on your road to recovery, Cici." Another shared: "Deepest heartfelt prayers for Dave, praying for a miracle." A third person contributed: "Hi Cici. This is such sad news. Our thoughts are with you in such trying times." The musician is best known or his 1970 Christmas No. 1 hit I Hear You Knocking, which sold three million copies and climbed to number four in America. He enjoyed numerous chart successes during the 1970s and early 1980s with songs such as Slipping Away, The Promised Land and Girls Talk. Dave established Love Sculpture, releasing their first single in 1968, before pursuing a solo career and collaborating with notable artists including Sir Paul McCartney and Nick Lowe. Dave wed his Swedish wife Cici in 1983, and the couple now live in their home Monmouth.
