Wondering when your device will get One UI 7? Samsung just updated its schedule
Robert Triggs / Android Authority
TL;DR The schedule for the One UI 7 rollout has been updated.
The schedule shows what devices are still waiting and when they will receive the update.
Most devices should get One UI 7 by June, but two devices are scheduled for July.
The One UI 7 rollout hasn't exactly been the fastest release, but Samsung is making progress. If you're still waiting on the update to arrive on your device, then you're probably wondering how much longer you'll have to wait. An updated rollout schedule now tells us when we can expect the update to arrive on the remaining eligible devices.
On X (formerly Twitter), tipster Tarun Vats shared screenshots of a new One UI 7 update schedule spotted on Samsung Germany's website. The schedule lists all the devices that have already received the new OS and those still in the waiting line.
According to this schedule, it appears that a majority of the devices that have yet to receive One UI 7 will get the update sometime in June. Meanwhile, there are two devices — the Galaxy Tab A9 and Galaxy A05s — that are scheduled for July.
As the One UI 7 rollout continues, the One UI 8 update is nipping at its heels. It appears some users are already getting notified of the Beta Program for One UI 8 before sign-ups begin. One of our own writers has now received this notification on their Galaxy device.

Colt, Honeywell and Nokia join forces to trial space-based quantum-safe cryptography
Press Release Colt, Honeywell and Nokia join forces to trial space-based quantum-safe cryptography 2 June 2025 Espoo, Finland – Colt Technology Services (Colt), a global digital infrastructure company, Honeywell and Nokia today announced a collaboration to explore quantum-safe networking using satellite communications. As part of the initiative, the companies are planning to test new ways of protecting encrypted optical network traffic from risks presented when quantum computing potentially breaks through traditional encryption methods, leaving data vulnerable to cyber threats. Traditional encryption methods, or cryptography, rely on complex mathematical problems that are difficult for computers to solve, but quantum computers are expected to solve these problems faster, potentially breaking through traditional encryption methods and putting data at risk. One promising advancement in this field is quantum key distribution (QKD), a technology central to the quantum evolution. However, QKD currently faces a major limitation: terrestrial physical constraints restrict its range to around 100 kilometers. To achieve global coverage of QKD, the technology can overcome these limitations by moving into space. Colt, Honeywell and Nokia plan to explore quantum-safe cryptography, trialling space-based and subsea techniques which are resistant to quantum computing attacks. The companies will trial quantum key distribution - a method used to securely share encryption keys between two parties – using low earth orbit satellites for ultra-long distances and transatlantic reach. The three companies share a collective goal: enable customers to benefit from the huge potential of quantum computing in ways that help solve pressing challenges, while protecting them from risk. The trial is expected to be of interest to organisations responsible for vast amounts of highly sensitive data such as financial firms, healthcare and pharmaceutical organisations and government bodies. 'Fundamental to the collaboration between Colt, Honeywell and Nokia is a shared passion and determination to push the boundaries of technology to find solutions which safeguard our customers and help them succeed. At Colt, we do everything we can to make life easier for our customers. It's why we're taking action now to protect our customers from future cybersecurity risks, tackling tomorrow's threats, today,' said Buddy Bayer, chief operating officer, Colt Technology Services. 'With over five decades of aerospace expertise, Honeywell has witnessed and adapted to the evolution of the global communications landscape. We are proud to continue as a leader in innovating future-proof solutions such as the QEYSSat and QKDSat missions for the quantum era. This collaboration represents a significant step forward in securing the future of critical data: designing solutions to enhance resilience, ensuring long-term data security for critical infrastructure and communications systems,' said Lisa Napolitano, vice president and general manager, Space, Honeywell Aerospace Technologies. 'Nokia is helping our customers stay ahead when it comes to securing critical data through resilient defense-in-depth strategies. Quantum computing brings great promise, but it's also a potential threat to the encryption models on which society has relied so far. This collaboration with Colt and Honeywell shows how space-based quantum-safe technologies can help protect networks, safeguarding sensitive information across every domain against future quantum threats,' said James Watt, vice president and general manager, Optical Networks at Nokia. Ahead of the trial, Colt, Honeywell and Nokia have drafted a white paper with more detail on the risks, threats and opportunities presented by quantum cryptography. The paper, entitled 'The Journey to Quantum-Safe Networking' is available to download here. The announcement follows a pilot Colt announced in March to explore quantum-secure networking across terrestrial networks. Ever wanted a camera on your Wear OS watch? Well, it's happening.
Joe Maring / Android Authority TL;DR A leaker has revealed that HMD is apparently working on two Wear OS smartwatches. One of these watches is tipped to have a 2MP camera, but there's no word on what this would be used for. The watch could also bring a 400mAh battery with wireless charging, a relatively large screen, and NFC. There are plenty of smartwatches on the market today, covering a variety of price points and use cases. Now, it sounds like HMD Global could launch a Wear OS watch with a unique selling point. Twitter tipster @smashx_60 reports that HMD Global is working on two Wear OS watches, the Rubber 1 and Rubber 1S. There's no word on the specific version of Wear OS, but the Rubber 1 has our attention due to its 2MP camera. There's no word on how this camera would be used, but I remember using the Samsung Galaxy Gear in the mid-2010s. This watch offered an outward-facing camera to take low-quality photos of your surroundings. However, HMD could theoretically opt for a camera in the watch face or bezel to facilitate video calls. Otherwise, the two smartwatches share a number of features. This includes apparent USB-C and wireless charging capabilities, 5ATM water resistance, Wi-Fi, and heart rate/SpO2 tracking. Would you buy a smartwatch with a camera? 0 votes Yes, absolutely NaN % Maybe, I'll wait and see NaN % No, I definitely wouldn't NaN % The Rubber 1 is clearly positioned as the more premium smartwatch, though. It's tipped to offer the aforementioned camera, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, a 400mAh battery, and a 1.85-inch OLED screen. Meanwhile, the Rubber 1S misses NFC but offers Bluetooth 5.0, a 290mAh battery, and a 1.07-inch OLED display. In any event, a camera-equipped smartwatch would certainly be a unique proposition in the Wear OS landscape. So we're definitely keen to hear more about it. Got a tip? Talk to us!
