The new thriller entitled Catch You Later stars Jason Watkins as a retired police officer, Huw Miller, who is plagued by the one case he failed to crack.
A stalker who taunted his town, toying with his victims before killing them.
Patrick Harbottle (Robson Green) moves into a home on his street recently left empty when the occupier suddenly dies.
And Huw becomes convinced his new neighbour is the killer, thanks to three little words - Catch you later.
The actors first appeared together 34 years ago in the ITV drama Soldier Soldier as army officers on the same side.
Later, they went on to play adversaries on the BBC drama Being Human, when Robson played a werewolf who went up against vampire Jason.
But now the stakes are much higher in the new tense drama - Catch you Later.
And Casualty actor Sunetra Sarker will also star alongside the pair.
Robson Green said: 'I am so stoked to be working alongside Jason Watkins again on the new Channel 5 drama, 'Catch You Later'.
"Jason is such a talented actor with a remarkable ability to bring depth and nuance to his characters.
"The psychological thriller aspect of the story promises to be a gripping ride, and I can't wait to dive into the cat-and-mouse dynamics that Tom Grieve has crafted.

"It's going to be an unforgettable journey!'
Jason Watkins added: 'Really excited to do another Channel 5 thriller, after the success of Coma.
"This is a different prospect but has all the ingredients for another thrilling ride.
"So excited to work with Robson - and Sunetra.
Top Channel 5 dramas
Channel 5 has become a hub for gripping drama, these are some of the best My5 has to offer.
All Creatures Great and Small - Based on the best-selling novels by real-life vet Alf Wright, the show revolves around a trio of vets working in the Yorkshire Dales in the late 1930s. Eccentric Siegfried Farnon (Samuel West) hires James Herriot (Nicholas Ralph) for his veterinary practice at Skeldale House alongside himself and his younger brother Tristan (Callum Woodhouse). There James settles into his new life and even finds love with local farmer's daughter Helen (Rachel Shenton).
The Ex-Wife - New parents Tasha (Céline Buckens) and Jack (Tom Misson) seem to have the perfect life, but the constant presence of Jack's overly friendly but suspicious ex-wife Jen (Janet Montgomery) puts pressure on the couple. But as the series progresses it becomes less clear who the bad guy really is and how far everyone will go to get the life they think they deserve.
Heat - EastEnders alum Danny Dyer leads this four-part action thriller, set in Australia, which sees two families holidaying together during bushfire season. But instead of rest and relaxation, secrets and lies start to unravel — and not everyone will make it out alive…
Lie With Me - Another soap legend jets off to Australia, this time its EastEnders alum Charlie Brooks who takes as a married woman trying to saving her marriage by moving halfway around the world after her husband had an affair. However it's far from plain sailing, as a young and attractive live-in nanny comes to work with the Fallmont family, and tensions soon build and eventually, someone ends up dead.
The Drowning - Jill Halfpenny plays Jodie, a woman whose life is shattered following the disappearance of her beloved four-year-old son, Daniel. However, ten years later, the grieving mother thinks she's finally found her missing child, and embarks on a journey to discover the truth about him. But has she really just found the son she has been missing for so long?
"Another complex and fascinating script: so looking forward to beginning filming!'
Paul Testar, Commissioning Editor, Drama, Channel 5 and Paramount+ commented: 'We're thrilled to bring this trio of brilliant actors in Jason, Robson and Sunetra to this fantastic and compelling story.
"It's a privilege to welcome Jason and Sunetra back to Channel 5 and we are delighted to have Robson in one of our dramas for the first time.
"We think the Channel 5 audience is going to love Tom Grieves' fascinating cat and mouse thriller.'
Mike Benson, Managing Director, Clapperboard also added: 'When we first read Tom's original treatment for Catch You Later we were utterly compelled – the characters, tone and world were so well drawn even at that early stage – and the project and scripts have developed into something really special.
"We are especially thrilled to finally have the chance to work with Robson and Jason – two of the UK's finest (and nicest!) actors – as well as the ever brilliant Sunetra Sarker'

Love Island star recalls how she delivered baby sister at home with shoelace

EXCLUSIVE: Love Island 2025 star Alima Gagigo has opened up about the extraordinary moment she delivered her baby sister at home - and she's determined to make a difference in the villa Love Island stunner Alima Gagigo is already making headlines - and not just for her villa debut. In a story that's as jaw-dropping as it is heartwarming, the 23-year-old Londoner has revealed she once delivered her baby sister at home using a shoelace to tie the umbilical cord. The incident happened in January 2020, just before the COVID-19 pandemic took hold. Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, ahead of the brand new series kicking off on Monday June 9, Alima shared the extraordinary moment that proved she's not just reality TV-ready - she's resilient under pressure, too. ‌ 'Yeah! It was back in January 2020. My sister's a COVID baby,' she said. 'It was just me and my mum at home, and the labour was 15 minutes. I had to tie the umbilical cord with a shoelace while on the phone with paramedics. It was scary but amazing looking back.' ‌ Alima is a wealth management client services executive living in Glasgow. Now, the educated beauty is swapping emergency home births for bikinis and bombshell drama in the sun-soaked Love Island villa, and she's determined to make a difference while doing it. Representation, she says, is front and centre. '100%. When I watched the show last year, seeing girls like Whitney made a difference,' Alima told us. 'If I can be that person this year, it could give confidence to others who might want to go on the show in the future. Representation really matters.' Alima, who describes her hair plans as 'glueless wigs - closures instead of frontals,' is stepping into the ITV2 spotlight following in the footsteps of fan favourite love island star Whitney Adebayo, who starred on the 10th series joining as a bombshell. And it turns out Whitney's already showing love for her fellow Islander. 'I actually didn't know that - this is the first time I'm hearing it!' she said when told of Whitney's online support. 'I follow her and absolutely loved her journey. As another dark-skinned woman, I could really relate. Maybe she supports me because she knows what I might be going through.' The support from her circle has also been overwhelming, with her family cheering her on from the sidelines. ‌ 'Everyone's buzzing! Friends and family are super excited. My mum was especially excited - taking pictures and everything when she dropped me at the airport!' And while Love Island's latest season is already making headlines - ITV bosses recently confirmed they won't shy away from showing sex on screen if it happens - Alima admits she is 'going to stay true to myself.' 'On the outside, I don't really do that kind of thing, so I don't think I'll be getting up to much in the villa either.' ‌ That down-to-earth energy is exactly what fans are already loving. Alima, who says she's 'not really anxious' about how she'll be perceived as a Black woman on the show, is focused on being authentic. 'Seeing girls like Whitney and Mimii [Ngulube] last year who were themselves and came across amazing gave me confidence,' she added. 'I want to be fully myself, regardless of stereotypes.' She's not afraid to laugh either - especially when it comes to her biggest dating ick. ‌ 'Honestly, if someone rapped or sang to me and it was bad - I wouldn't know what to say. If it's good, then fair enough, but if As the 2025 series kicks off with a fresh group of hopefuls and more drama promised than ever before, Alima is clearly more than ready to hit the villa. Catch Love Island every night at 9pm from Monday 9 June on ITV2 and ITVX
