Kylie Kelce explains why she's against girls wearing bikinis
It's probably not what you think. Kylie Kelce may love summer days at the Jersey Shore, but she's not a fan of one particular staple of kids' beach fashion — bikinis. And her reason has nothing to do with modesty. In an interview with through her partnership with Dove's Body Confident Sport program, the mom of four revealed that the real issue is sunscreen. 'I have to be honest, I'm against the bikinis because I don't want to have to sunscreen that many spots,' she said. 'I'm a big proponent of the long sleeve swimsuits, specifically on the beach, because even when we have a two-piece with the long sleeve sun shirt, I still have to re-sunscreen their belly and their back.' Kelce — who shares daughters Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2, and 3-month-old Finnley with retired NFL star Jason Kelce — said the process of chasing down squirming toddlers to cover every inch of skin is '100% necessary and 0% fun for anyone involved.' She pointed out that swimwear shifts a lot during play: 'You know how much their swimsuits move while they're digging in the sand and playing in the waves. It is a hassle and a half.' While Kelce says modesty is 'great for kids,' her stance is purely practical: 'Ultimately I don't want to have to sunscreen you any more than I already do. It's torture.' Beyond swimwear, Kelce told she and Jason are focused on instilling positive body image in their kids, encouraging them to stay active through team sports, beach play, and time outdoors. Here's What Went Down at LEGO®'s PLAY Pavilion In Serpentine Gallery
This summer,The LEGO Grouplaunched its PLAY Pavilion installation at theSerpentine Gallery, London. The colorful space, designed by iconic architectSir Peter Cook, featured a two-month-long program of free initiatives and activations spanning a range of creative disciplines — created to spark creativity in the younger generation and provided an inclusive space for all to channel their creativity and tap into the power of imagination. Covering art, music, and sport, Hypebeast enlisted three London-based content creators to head down to the PLAY Pavilion and get involved in the various workshops last month. Keep reading to check out what they experienced through their lens. To kick off, we teamed up with running enthusiast David Zakwan to get an inside look at the PLAY Pavilion'sNikex LEGO® football-inspired activation. Bringing his younger sister along, they started their day at the PLAY Pavilion, where football jerseys received 1-of-1 LEGO®-inspired customizations. After exploring the space, in true Zakwan fashion, he raced the shuttle bus provided to take visitors to the second part of the Nike x LEGO® PLAY Arena in Warren Street. At this unique collaborative pitch experience, visitors took part in a range of football drills, brick-inspired play, and trialled the latest Nike Phantom boot. Whether replicating iconic artwork using LEGO® bricks or reimagining the Kensington Gardens surroundings through abstract art — visitors at this workshop were encouraged to use their imagination to create 2D and 3D representations with the guidance of expert LEGO® Master Builders. Tapping Moe Osman aka @hellacreps, the lifestyle content creator made his way to the activation to try his hand at the workshop. From trailing his creative flair on baseplates to adorning the Pavilion walls, Osman signed off his name before taking home an exclusive LEGO® Make & Take to add to his growing interior design pieces. With a workshop for every creative mind, music producer and radio host Jaguar heads to the Record Shop activation to channel her love for electronic tracks into making an album cover. Whilst her list of music muses is never-ending, Jaguar chooses to delve into her own portfolio of sounds, recreating her debut single 'WILD!' in LEGO®-form. On a square baseplate, she sifts through a variety of multi-colored bricks and stacks them up to build a close-to-original interpretation of the cover. To finish, the artwork is fused onto the Pavilion's panoramic wall, taking pride of place for all to see.
