Mass Rallies in Al-Dhale' in Solidarity with Gaza Against Crime of Genocide, Starvation

Saba Yemen23-05-2025

Al Dhale - Saba:
The districts of Damt, Al-Husha, Qa'atabah, and Juban in Al-Dhale' province witnessed massive rallies under the slogan 'Steadfast with Gaza… We Will Escalate Against the Crime of Genocide and Starvation.'
Participants, led by Acting Governor Abdul Latif Al-Shughadri and Mobilization Official Ahmed Al-Murani in Damt, raised the flags of Yemen and Palestine and chanted slogans condemning the ongoing crimes committed by the Zionist enemy in Gaza with American support.
The people of Al-Dhale' reaffirmed their unwavering support for the armed forces in the battle of 'Promised Victory and Sacred Jihad' and expressed readiness to confront the Zionist enemy in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
A statement issued during the rallies declared full authorization and support for all decisions and military actions against the Zionist entity, emphasizing continued steadfastness and certainty until victory and relief are granted to Gaza.
It called on the Arab and Islamic nations to take action and break their silence, warning that failing to respond to the genocide in Gaza risks divine wrath.
The statement expressed pride in the Yemeni military operations that have inflicted significant damage on the Zionist enemy, praying for further development of Yemen's military capabilities to achieve greater deterrence and contribute to the liberation of Palestine and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
It also praised Gaza's heroic resistance and urged the Ummah to learn lessons in patience and sacrifice from its people, stressing that Gaza, despite dire conditions, continues to resist and thwart the enemy—while others with greater resources have no excuse for inaction or surrender.

Popular Front for Liberation of Palestine: U.S. Veto confirms direct complicity in Gaza Genocide

Gaza – SABA: The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) strongly condemned the U.S. administration's use of the veto at the United Nations Security Council on Wednesday, which blocked a draft resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the PFLP described this move as a brazen continuation of the U.S. role in covering up the ongoing genocide committed by the Zionist enemy against the Palestinian people. The statement read: 'It is not surprising that the U.S. administration would take such a position. It is directly participating in the aggression on Gaza by supplying the Zionist enemy with the most lethal internationally banned weapons, while granting it political and legal cover to continue its dirty war against our defenseless people.' The PFLP emphasized that the U.S. veto represents a deliberate insistence by the U.S. administration on direct involvement in the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, making it morally and legally responsible for the massacres and genocide being committed—particularly against children, women, civilians, and the displaced. The group further stated that the American veto is another chapter in the historical hostility of successive U.S. administrations toward the Palestinian people. It exposes the deep moral hypocrisy in American policy, which justifies the crimes of the Zionist enemy and gives it a green light to continue the slaughter. The PFLP held the U.S. fully responsible for this decision and called on freedom-loving people within the United States to stand against these criminal policies and to continue efforts aimed at ending the U.S. complicity with the Zionist entity in the atrocities being committed against the Palestinian people. U.S. Veto Blocks UN Security Council Resolution to Stop Genocide in Gaza

New York – SABA: The United Nations Security Council failed to pass a resolution on Wednesday evening calling for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, after the United States used its veto power to block the measure. The draft resolution, submitted by several member states including Algeria, Slovenia, and Denmark, called for an immediate halt to hostilities in Gaza. The U.S. veto demonstrated Washington's ongoing support for the Israeli occupation, which continues to commit acts of genocide and daily massacres against the Palestinian people in Gaza. Fourteen out of the fifteen Security Council members voted in favor of the resolution. Only the United States voted against, using its veto to prevent its adoption. With continued American and European backing, the Israeli military has, since October 7, 2023, carried out a campaign in Gaza that has resulted in the martyrdom of 54,607 Palestinians, most of them women and children, and the injury of 125,341 others. These figures remain incomplete, as thousands of victims are still trapped under rubble and in streets unreachable by rescue and medical crews. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (International)
