ARIES
MAR 21 - APR 20
12
Letting love calm down into a quieter, more peaceful passion may go against your instincts, but Venus is supporting this move in favor of the future.
If you are single, this can mean choosing a less-exciting but more-exacting match, at least to try.
Your work abilities may feel stretched, but all the while, they are growing, ready to surprise you and the world.
TAURUS
APR 21 - MAY 21
12
That conversation you know you need to have with someone you love keeps getting pushed to the back of your mind and your diary.
But this week is different; this week you can and should start to speak, with Venus' full backing.
You have a really sharp eye for property prospects that others may miss, and a last-minute route change can be the key.
Luck wears blue stripes.
GEMINI
MAY 22 - JUNE 21
12
Believing yourself to be 'good with money' is step one in becoming just that.
So do lower any barriers in your own mind that may be holding you back.
At work, asking for what you know you are worth is easier, and at home, just one small change in a daily spending pattern can start a cascade of positive potential profits.
Love repays any risks in terms of talking.
CANCER
JUNE 22 - JULY 22
12
Venus joins Jupiter in your personal star space, and your love-life can be an enthralling mix of passion, bravery, and luck.
But none of this matters until you are ready to make it count! So do be the boldest version of yourself you can be all this week.
As Saturn's caution lifts, if you see a sudden career chance, try not to waste it.
Your Mercury skill lies in cash organisation.
LEO
JULY 23 - AUG 23
12
This is a week for love fantasies coming down to earth, as you pair up with Venus for dreamy romance.
Any recent sense of being restricted in what you can say or do can lift clean away, and as soon as you imagine a sexy partnership move or spot a new love interest, you know exactly what to do.
Funds for a special trip can be right there waiting, when you realize where to look.
VIRGO
AUG 24 - SEPT 22
12
Try not to take loyalty or friendship for granted this week, but show special people how much you care and value their support.
When respect is truly a two-way process, so much can change for you.
The sun highlights dark secrets and takes away their power, so you see a way through a difficult time.
Love is lighter, but with a core of strength. Luck circles 'D' names.
LIBRA
SEPT 23 - OCT 23
12
Spinning thoughts settle into a clear set of choices around midweek, when your moon-based instincts are also so strong.
So trust yourself to make the right decision, but do make one, rather than trying to keep every option open.
As Venus reaches the top of your chart, you're at the top of your love game, and such a hot passion pick.
Single? Look back at a chatty Leo.
SCORPIO
OCT 24 - NOV 22
12
The way you work matters as much as what you do – your chart encourages including others in your decisions and being prepared to listen.
Then conflict can change to co-operation.
You have a bold love style, but it's also willing to learn and grow, so you accept passion may not be perfect all the time, but that's what makes it interesting.
Single? Your soulmate sings out of tune.
SAGITTARIUS
NOV 23 - DEC 21
12
It may feel too soon for love to go deeper, but Venus has decided that needs to happen, so get ready.
You're always there for the fun, but the serious side of life asks for your attention right now too, especially at home.
When you show your vulnerable self, the response can be so positive. Luck looks south and can link you to any contest with several rounds.
CAPRICORN
DEC 22 - JAN 20
12
The heat and light of your chart centres on your weddings zone, so whether you feel ready or not, permanent promises can be brewing.
From an exchange of keys to an exchange of rings, your heart is about to find a new home.
The Pluto effect on cash gives you a thread of unexpected daring; what will you do with this?
A closed creative work door can open up.
AQUARIUS
JAN 21 - FEB 18
12
Turning your spotlight on yourself and giving yourself the time and space you need to think, or perhaps to heal, is a smart move this week.
Self-care is very far from selfish, and right now you could really need it.
The moon encourages you to let all thoughts flow freely, even difficult ones.
This is how you can reach a big life or love decision. Luck swaps odd numbers for even ones.
PISCES
FEB 19 - MAR 20
12
Fun and flirtation are the gifts of your new Venus chart, and everyone can be surprised by how you take this and run with it.
You can make a move towards the future, or the fantasy, you truly want, rather than settling for what you have.
While the sun and Mercury clear away work clutter to leave one shining positive path.
You also choose team members with star skill.

Massive ‘glitch' plunges Gala Bingo into chaos as players LOSE a staggering £20,000 in winnings

UNLUCKY FOR SOME Massive 'glitch' plunges Gala Bingo into chaos as players LOSE a staggering £20,000 in winnings Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) THOUSANDS of bingo players are fuming after winning up to £10,000 each from a mega £1.6m prize pot - before it was snatched away by Gala Bingo who blamed a 'technical glitch'. Punters playing bingo online on Monday night were shocked when they scooped big prizes, thinking their 'lucky day had finally come'. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 4 Single mum Natasha Varcoe, 23 was affected by the 'technical glitch' 4 Players thought they had won big only to be left disappointed Thrilled business owner Jacqui Norrish thought she'd bagged £9,599.47 while playing the game Monday night. But the 41-year-old from Torbay, Devon, received an email from Gala Bingo stating: 'Unfortunately, due to a technical error on Monday 4th August 2025, your account was incorrectly credited with Bingo winnings.' Fuming, Jacqui told The Sun: 'It's absolutely outrageous how big companies can play with people's lives like this, it's disgraceful. 'I'm a fairly regular player with Gala Bingo, but I don't pay big stakes or anything. 'I started playing at 4.30pm on Monday and got my first big win at about 7.20pm, for well over £1,200, I couldn't believe my luck. 'Then I got another win 20 minutes later for £2,280 and was already spending the money in my head. 'Then I won £1,600, £2400 and then another prize of £1,800. 'I won a few more prizes before it stopped, I had almost £10k in my account.' Jacqui said she saw other 'winners' asking the Gala chat host whether the prizes were genuine and it responded that they were, adding, 'enjoy your winnings'. She immediately withdrew the cash from her Gala account only to discover the money never made it to her bank account 'I was going to pay to get my daughter tested for autism because the NHS wait is so long and I'd planned to pay the rest of my husband's car off,' she said, adding: 'I'm absolutely gutted. When you've been told you've won something and then it's snatched away, it makes you feel terrible.' Pensioner Jill Douthwaite, 72, from Edenbridge, Kent, won £2,700 on the online game and hoped to use her winnings to pay for an op for her Collie-cross Cooper. 4 The winners desperately contacted Gala Bingo to resolve the issue 'I was so relieved because I thought I could spend £500 to save my dog's eyesight,' she said. 'We're a family who can't afford to go on holidays and we've been struck with a lot of bad luck in the past too. 'My daughter even phoned her dad to say she could repay his loan for the car, but then she had to go back on her word because Gala Bingo did.' Banking customer service agent Joseph Morphus, 21, said he clocked an unusual amount of people winning big in the chat on Monday. He said: 'It was extremely weird, people were getting such big amounts, and as a runner up I got £1,000 having literally bet pennies. 'The withdrawal process went normally, but then it never arrived and in the morning my account had been closed.' Last month, Joseph, from Nottingham, Notts, suffered a brain bleed after he was injured playing football, so had been surviving on sick leave pay. 'It's been really tough, I've been really short of cash, and the win was like a breath of fresh air,' he said. But now he's fuming, adding: 'It's ridiculous, it's their problem, the fat cats are sitting in their mansions and now they're not paying what's ours." Single mum Natasha Varcoe, 23, from Sherborne, Dorset, is also gutted after bagging £5,000 having bet just a fiver. She planned to spend the cash on driving lessons so she could see more of her parents who live an hour away. Disappointed, she said: 'It might not be much to other people, but we've just moved into a council house and I don't have any carpets.' While mum Victoria Geer, 28, said when her screen flashed a runner up reward of £2,400 on Monday, she screeched to her partner Ryan, a drainage engineer, that she'd won. 'It was bananas, it then happened twice more, I just couldn't believe it,' she recalls. When she won £7,200 off a £15 stake, she decided to cash in and planned to take her family on holiday, but no money arrived. Since the false prize bonanza, angry customers have taken to TrustPilot to rate Gala Bingo one star and hundreds have vented their anger in online groups. One user wrote: 'Like a lot of people last night who apparently won big money absolutely disgusted at how this can happen. We paid to play, didn't we!' While another said: 'They like taking your money but don't like paying out.' Gala Bingo sent a message to customers informing them they would not receive their winnings, but would be refunded what they spent on Bingo Tickets. The firm says the technical glitch happened on Monday night, causing chaos for around two hours. It has contacted the Gambling Commission over the incident. A Gala Bingo spokesperson said: "We apologise to customers for a technical error which occurred during our Summer Nights Bingo promotion for a short period of time, resulting in all players receiving incorrect payouts. "Our customer Terms and Conditions clearly state that in the event of a malfunction, winnings can be voided. "Affected players have been contacted directly with a gesture of goodwill."

Review: The London Philharmonic Orchestra at the Usher Hall

The 1995 work is a modern showpiece for symphony orchestra, as performances by the BBC SSO and National Youth Orchestra of Scotland have demonstrated, and it was a fine introduction to all the sections of the London Philharmonic here, especially the ensemble sound of the basses and the clarity of the wind soloists. The rest of the programme was box office gold, Holst's Planet Suite taking up the second half and the large orchestra occupying every square inch of platform in front of the audience-filled choir stalls. Somewhere offstage the National Youth Choir of Scotland made another memorable contribution to the Festival with the final Neptune movement's ethereal wordless chorus, which now seems redolent of a much healthier 20th century fascination with our Solar System. Elsewhere in the work, classical allusions emerge as readily as scientific ones, from the martial opening of Mars through the popular hymnic theme of joy-bringer Jupiter to the magical exchanges of Uranus. All the details of the marvellous orchestration, including a stellar percussion section, two harps and celesta, and rare sounds like that of the bass oboe, were apparent in Gardner's efficient reading, even if it lacked a little in the way of burnished edge. READ MORE: The first half performance of Rachmaninov's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini by Italian pianist Beatrice Rana was also much less flashy than it is often played, and none the worse for that. It is a keyboard show-pony's favourite, but Rana was having none of that in a measured, lyrical reading that allowed the orchestra's first oboe and other soloists their place in the spotlight and featured as beautiful an expression of the Andante Cantabile slow variation as one might hope to hear. The wonder of the work is how the 25 variations flow into one another and from soloist to orchestra and back, so having them enumerated and named in supertitles as well as on the thin free printed programme seemed a pointless distraction. And projecting the composer's programme note for Forest in the same way during the first viola's opening solo at the concert's start was just plain rude.
