ALBAWABA - Egyptian actress Samiha Ayoub, known as the "Lady of Arab Theater," died on Tuesday morning at the age of 93.
Artist Mounir Makram, a member of the Actors Syndicate Council in Egypt, announced her death via a Facebook post saying: "The veteran actress Samiha Ayoub has passed away."
Samiha Ayoub had a very rich artistic career that began in 1947, during which she left a wide-ranging presence in theater, cinema, and television, enriching the cultural landscape in Egypt and the Arab world.
Ayoub performed on stage, the cinema and television cameras, collaborating with a select group of prominent directors and writers in Egypt and the Arab world.
