Saba Yemen28-04-2025

Sana'a - Saba:
Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahawi met on Monday with Minister of Oil and Minerals Dr. Abdullah al-Amir.
The meeting reviewed the ministry's situation, the activities of its affiliated units, and the repercussions of the US aggression on Ras Isa Oil Port and the resulting oil spill threatening the marine environment in the Red Sea.
Dr. al-Amir explained that the supply of petroleum products has stabilized as a result of the preemptive plan adopted to prevent any attack on oil facilities.
He also highlighted the extent of the losses incurred at Ras Isa Port as a result of the US aggression, which targeted a civilian facility serving the Yemeni people and claimed the lives of dozens.
The Prime Minister reiterated his condemnation of the heinous crimes committed by the American enemy in the port of Ras Issa, the port of Hodeida, and various civilian facilities in the capital and the free provinces, including its brutal crime against African migrants in Sa'ada, and the hundreds of civilian martyrs and wounded that resulted from those crimes.
He noted the arrangements that the Ministry and the concerned authorities have taken and are taking to ensure the stability of the supply situation of petroleum derivatives in the capital and the governorates.

Sana'a gov sends Eid gift convoy to frontline fighters

Sana'a – Saba: The local authority in Sana'a governorate on Thursday dispatched an Eid gift convoy to support frontline fighters on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. The convoy, a collective contribution from the Executive Office and residents across various districts of the governorate, included 20 heads of cattle and 250 heads of sheep. Governorate undersecretary Talib Dahan described the convoy's dispatch as an expression of loyalty to the sacrifices of the martyrs and the steadfastness of the heroes. Dahan affirmed their commitment to following in the footsteps of these fighters in confronting the "forces of tyranny and global arrogance" until victory is achieved. Dahan emphasized the dedication of the local authority leadership, the Executive Office, and all residents of the governorate to continue providing "convoys of sacrifice and giving." He framed this as a sacred jihadi duty and a contribution to confronting the "aggression" and thwarting its plans, which he stated aim to subjugate Yemen to the fate of other nations that have "normalized relations with the Zionist entity." Yahya al-Shaabani, Director of the Governorate's Welfare Division, and Ali Othman, the convoy supervisor, stated that the convoy represents the least that can be offered to those who are sacrificing their lives in defense of the homeland, its sovereignty, and independence. They affirmed the continuation of support and generosity convoys for those on the ground, commending the heroic deeds and victories of the armed forces' heroes on various fronts in defending the homeland and its sovereignty, as well as supporting the Palestinian people in Gaza, who they noted are subjected to massacres and Zionist crimes with American and Western support. Palestinian Mujahideen Movement: American veto encouraged zionist enemy to assassinate journalists

Gaza – Saba: The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement affirmed that the American veto against a UN Security Council resolution calling for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip has encouraged the Zionist enemy to once again target journalists inside hospitals. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the movement described the Zionist enemy's assassination of journalists inside the Baptist Hospital on Thursday as a compounded war crime, emboldened by the U.S. veto and ongoing support. The movement stated, 'The Zionist enemy's continued targeting of hospitals and journalists—the latest being the attack on the journalists' tent inside the Baptist Hospital—constitutes a deliberate war crime, carried out as part of a systematic Zionist policy amid international complicity, silence, and the failure of international organizations.' It added, 'We condemn the Zionist enemy's deliberate targeting of journalists and mourn the martyr journalists who died defending the truth and exposing the cowardly crimes of the enemy. The enemy will not succeed in silencing the truth by repeatedly attacking journalists, nor will it break the resolve and will of our people.' The statement continued, 'This crime, like all others, was a result of the U.S. veto and its unwavering support for the Zionist enemy. Therefore, we hold the U.S. administration and President Trump fully responsible for this crime and all the brutal atrocities committed against our people.' The movement called on international institutions and human rights organizations to uphold their responsibilities and take effective measures to stop crimes against journalists and civilians, as well as to end the war of ethnic cleansing and genocide in the Gaza Strip. The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement also urged free people around the world to continue public pressure on the Zionists and their supporters to halt the ongoing massacre of the century in Gaza. French President: "We will decide on steps toward Israel in coming days"

Paris – Saba: French President Emmanuel Macron stated on Thursday that Paris would decide in the coming days whether to toughen its stance and take concrete measures against Israel. In a press statement, Macron said, "Negotiations are ongoing, and we will decide in the next few days whether we need to strengthen our positions and take concrete steps toward Israel," as reported by the Sana News Agency. Macron's remarks come amid his calls for the recognition of a Palestinian state. The French president emphasized the need for European countries to adopt firmer positions toward Israel and urged recognition of Palestinian statehood. With American and European support, the Israeli occupation army has been committing genocidal crimes in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023. These atrocities have so far resulted in the martyrdom of 54,677 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and left 125,530 others wounded—though these figures remain non-final, as thousands of victims remain trapped under rubble or in streets inaccessible to rescue teams.
