[Thu, 10 Jul 2025 17:03:27 +0300]Sanaa – SABA :From Iron Swords and Judgment Day to Generals' Plan and Gideon's Chariots, and now the newly launched operation 'Upright Lion', Israel continues its unrelenting campaign of genocide, starvation, and destruction in the Gaza Strip. Each military phase signals a new chapter in Israel's ongoing assault on Palestinian civilians. The Israeli military believes it is asserting dominance through 'Upright Lion' after the previous 'Gideon's Chariots' operation brought death, destruction, and displacement to Gaza. That operation ended with no clear objectives met, only to be followed by a new wave of violence. As usual, Israel conceals the true goals of its campaigns, targeting innocent civilians—including women, children, and the elderly—while resistance operations, such as the recent Khan Younis ambush by Al-Qassam Brigades, continue to deal damaging blows to Israeli forces. These actions come as talks of a potential ceasefire deal circulate. However, the launch of this new operation raises doubts about Israel's intentions—whether it's genuine in seeking peace, or simply using military pressure to force concessions from Hamas at the negotiation table.According to Reuters, the first round of indirect ceasefire negotiations in Doha between Israel and Hamas ended Monday without progress, due to what Palestinian sources described as Israel's lack of a sufficient negotiating mandate. The talks precede Netanyahu's upcoming visit to Washington, his third since Donald Trump's return to office.Speaking from New Jersey, Trump claimed, 'There's a good chance we'll get a deal with Hamas this week,' suggesting the negotiations are 'on track.' But Israeli sources contradicted that, describing the deal as 'still far from complete,' despite Hamas's initial approval of a Qatari proposal that includes:Meanwhile, the outcome of 'Gideon's Chariots', which lasted nearly two months, was more bloodshed than military success. Israel failed to achieve the stated goal of evacuating Gaza residents from combat zones. Instead, the resistance's counterattacks exposed Israel's vulnerability, while the occupation army razed countless buildings, expanded the so-called buffer zone, and killed scores of civilians—especially those seeking aid and shelter. To pave the way for 'Upright Lion,' Israel redeployed its 98th Division and Nahal Brigade, supported by airstrikes and special forces. Over recent days, Israeli forces intensified attacks on civilians, killing over 100 people in a single night—mostly from targeted strikes on displacement camps and shelters. The Government Media Office in Gaza reported on Monday that Israel committed 59 massacres in just 100 hours, killing 288 civilians, including 99 aid-seekers. These individuals were gunned down near so-called 'American-Israeli aid centers', now dubbed 'death traps', where thousands gather daily in desperation for food amid total blockade and starvation policies imposed on Gaza's 2.4 million residents. The report detailed Israel's systematic targeting of:According to the office, the majority of victims were women, children, and the elderly—unarmed civilians, highlighting Israel's deliberate targeting of the most vulnerable. In the 48 hours prior, Israeli forces committed 26 additional massacres, killing over 300 Palestinians and injuring hundreds more. These attacks further confirm the use of collective punishment, ethnic cleansing, and deliberate extermination tactics.Daily, Israeli strikes target aid lines and waiting civilians, transforming every food distribution site into a kill zone. Despite the scale and visibility of these crimes, they continue under U.S. and European protection, without accountability. As of Tuesday, July 8, the ongoing Israeli assault has killed 57,575 Palestinians and injured 136,879 since October 7, 2023.

"Democracy": Salutes brotherly Yemeni people and their sincere support for our Palestinian people & their resistance

Damascus - Saba: The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) saluted the brotherly Yemeni people, their army, and their political leadership, headed by the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, for their sincere support for our Palestinian people, their resistance, and their steadfastness in the Gaza Strip. The DFLP noted Yemen's defiance of "this American-Israeli-NATO alliance, which did not hesitate to launch its barbaric war against Yemen, targeting its infrastructure in particular, believing that in doing so it would succeed in terrorizing the Yemeni people, army, and leadership into abandoning its support for our people." FM, Military Leaders Meet Crew of "ETERNITY C" ship

Sana'a - Saba: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Jamal Amer, along with Deputy Chief of the General Staff Major General Ali Al-Moshki, Commander of the Naval and Coastal Defense Forces Major General Mohammed Fadhl, Commander of the Coastal Defense Forces Major General Mohammed Al-Qadiri, and Member of the Political Bureau of Ansar Allah Dhaifallah Al-Shami, today met with the crew of the "Eternity C" ship who were rescued from drowning in the Red Sea. During the meeting, Minister Amer and the military leaders reassured the ship's crew that they are safe, affirming the keenness to take care of them as guests of Yemen, considering that they were exploited to carry out this mission. The Minister of Foreign Affairs said: "The directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, stipulate that all people should be viewed as human beings without discrimination, especially in humanitarian aspects." He added: "We have been continuously following the crew's condition since they were rescued in the Red Sea after the ship, which violated laws affecting our security in Yemen, was targeted, to ensure your safety and proper medical treatment. This, of course, is in line with our leadership's emphasis on preserving human dignity regardless of religion, ideology, or nationality." The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates pointed out that the ship's crew contacted their families to reassure them, explaining that the crew is a victim just like the Palestinian people in Gaza, who have become victims of global arrogance, American hegemony, and Zionist expansionist ambitions. He touched on what is happening in Gaza in terms of killing, whether by military force, starvation, preventing the entry of food, or depriving people of medicine. He said: "Perhaps you have seen the suffering of the Palestinian people and sensed it during the hours of your own suffering before and during your rescue from the sea." He added: "Therefore, you may now sense how Islam views human beings and how the Zionists view them—there is a great difference, as you have experienced the level of treatment and cooperation from the Yemeni Armed Forces, even though they themselves are suffering and are always being targeted by Zionism. Yet in the end, they made a real distinction between how to deal with human beings and an enemy we confront face to face." Minister Amer noted that the ship's crew had never heard of high-ranking military leaders such as the Deputy Chief of the General Staff and the Commander of the Air Forces being present with the crew to provide care for them, and that this has not been witnessed before. This reflects the true Yemeni approach toward the entire world. He addressed the ship's crew, saying: "Rest assured that our care for you will continue, and we understand the ordeal you went through as a result of being exploited and the suffering you experienced during the targeting of the ship by the Yemeni Armed Forces." During the meeting, explanations were heard from a number of crew members of the ship, which violated the decision prohibiting dealings with occupied ports, and their motives for risking this journey to the port of 'Eilat' and not responding to the warnings of the Yemeni Naval Forces, in addition to the suffering of the crew until they were rescued and evacuated from the ship. The ship's crew expressed their gratitude for the level of care and attention they received since their rescue, as well as for being given the opportunity to contact their families and reassure them of their condition.
