MotoGP Austrian GP: Marc Marquez pulls off yet another win
The win represented another 'double' following Saturday's sprint success and thus completed the factory Ducati rider's sixth consecutive perfect racing weekend – a run stretching back to the Aragon Grand Prix in June.
Aprilia's Marco Bezzecchi led much of the race after starting from pole position before Marquez pounced. The Italian then succumbed to charging Gresini Ducati rider Fermin Aldeguer, who took his best MotoGP result with second place.

Richard Hughes wanted to rebuild Arne Slot's side this summer and the final pieces in the jigsaw are still yet to be secured. The first of those jigsaw pieces is Alexander Isak. He's been Liverpool's dream target for a long time and next week we should find a resolution to the saga that has been going on for the longest time. Liverpool may add another winger to the equation as well. Although it remains to be seen whether with such little time left they can find the right target. But the other key piece of the puzzle is Marc Guehi. 🔴 Like Isak, the Crystal Palace captain has long been on Liverpool's radar. In fact, the Reds have wanted to sign him since the beginning of the summer. Guehi has one year left on his contract and it's clear that he doesn't want to extend. He wants to leave the club. Whether it's in the next two weeks or next summer, the end result will be the same. So, it's in Palace's interest to make sure that he goes this summer. At least this way they won't lose him for nothing but they can actually get compensated for making Guehi into the player he is today. Liverpool have been working on a deal to do exactly that. They haven't yet succeeded but it looks like they are going to make another push for the Crystal Palace star.

Reds end Brewers' franchise-record, 14-game winning streak on Hays' bases-loaded hit in the 10th
CINCINNATI (AP) — Austin Hays' single with the bases loaded in the 10th inning gave the Cincinnati Reds a 3-2 victory over Milwaukee on Sunday, ending the Brewers' franchise-record winning streak at 14 games. Milwaukee had barely pulled out the previous two games in Cincinnati for its longest streak ever within one season and the longest in the majors since the St. Louis Cardinals won 17 straight from Sept. 11 to Sept. 28, 2021. This time, Spencer Steer's sacrifice bunt in the 10th advanced designated runner TJ Friedl to third. After intentional walks to Elly De La Cruz and Will Benson loaded the bases, Hays laced a single to down the third-base line for his second career walk-off hit. Milwaukee, which overcame a seven-run deficit on Friday and rallied to win in 14 innings Saturday, nearly came back for another win. William Contreras hit his 13th home run of the season, a two-run shot off Reds closer Emilio Pagan, to put Milwaukee ahead 2-1 in the ninth. But the Reds tied it when Benson reached on a fielding error by shortstop Joey Ortiz and later scored on Jose Trevino's single. The first-place Brewers fell to 53-17 in their last 70 games. The game was scoreless through six innings with Reds left-hander Andrew Abbott and Brewers lefty Jose Quintana allowing a combined six hits with 11 strikeouts. Cincinnati scored the game's first run when Hays led off the seventh with a double and scored on Trevino's sacrifice fly to the wall in center. Graham Ashcraft (7-4) earned the win for Cincinnati. Ime Udoka, Fred VanVleet traveled to Turkey to work with Rockets star Alperen Sengun
All-Star center Alperen Sengun spends at least a portion of each NBA offseason in his native Turkey. He typically still works out and does basketball activities in the gym during that time, but it's an opportunity for the 23-year-old to be surrounded by family and friends from his homeland for at least a few weeks. In the 2025 offseason, however, the Rockets star is spending a bit more time at home due to his inclusion on Turkey's FIBA EuroBasket 2025 squad (which opens play later this month). So, rather than waiting for Sengun to eventually return to his NBA home, Houston is sending its leadership to him. As shown in photos posted on the team's official social media accounts, head coach Ime Udoka and starting point guard Fred VanVleet each recently spent time with Sengun in a Turkish gym. It's nothing too out of the ordinary. In past offseasons, it was typically an assistant coach from the Rockets that went to visit Sengun in Turkey. But with expectations higher than ever after the Kevin Durant trade and Sengun's timeline for returning to the United States delayed due to the EuroBasket competition, the Rockets sent even bigger names to Turkey in 2025. The hope is that it allows Sengun, VanVleet, and the rest of their teammates on the 2025-26 Rockets to hit the ground running when training camps open around October 1. In 2024-25, Sengun averaged 19.1 points and a career-high 10.3 rebounds in earning his first career All-Star honors. Houston went 52-30 and finished at No. 2 in the Western Conference standings, and Sengun led the Rockets in rebounding while finishing second in scoring and assists on a per-game basis.
