Sean 'Diddy' Combs has been in the press
non-stop since his arrest last September.
So far, the music mogul has been charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, transportation to engage in prostitution and forced labour under inhumane circumstances. His legal troubles continue to mount as more accusers come forward.

In the run up to his trial this May, netizens have been scouring the internet for evidence of
past behaviour they might have overlooked – and the people he kept around him. One of his closest confidantes was Ashton Kutcher, who has made some questionable decisions over the years.
From backing convicted rapist
Danny Masterson , to sexualising a 15-year-old Hilary Duff in a Punk'd interview, Kutcher is no stranger to online backlash himself.
Here's a look inside his years-long friendship with Diddy, as he continues to try to distance himself from the rapper:

Kutcher and Combs' friendship goes way back. According to OK! Magazine, they instantly hit it off and have been pals since the 2000s. Kutcher talked about their early interactions on a 2019 episode of Hot Ones. 'Our relationship is really bizarre,' he said. 'It started over Punk'd because he was like, 'Yo, you can't punk me!' I was like, 'I don't know what to tell you, everybody is on the table.' That started our conversation. We became fast friends and we used to just hang out, watch football together.'

Combs confirmed the story in an article he wrote for Time in 2010. 'I first met Ashton Kutcher when we were both on MTV,' he explained. 'He was doing Punk'd, and I was doing Making the Band.'

He's now won Cannes' Palme d'Or, Venice's Golden Lion (for 'The Circle') and Berlin's Golden Bear (for 'Taxi'). Only three other filmmakers have done that: Henri-Georges Clouzot, Michelangelo Antonioni and Robert Altman. Kleber Mendonça Filho's Brazilian political thriller 'The Secret Agent" won two big awards: best director for Filho and best actor for Wagner Moura. The jury prize was split between two films: Óliver Laxe's desert road trip 'Sirât " and Mascha Schilinski's German, generation-spanning drama 'Sound of Falling.' Best actress went to Nadia Melliti for 'The Little Sister,' Hafsia Herzi's French coming-of-age drama. The Belgian brothers Luc and Jean-Pierre Dardenne, who are two-time Palme d'Or winners, won best screenplay for their latest drama, 'Young Mothers.' Its their ninth prize in Cannes. Russia and Ukraine swap hundreds more prisoners

Russia and Ukraine swap hundreds more prisoners Kyiv and Moscow have agreed to swap 1,000 prisoners of war and civilian detainees each over the weekend. Photo: AFP Russia and Ukraine exchanged hundreds more prisoners on Saturday as part of a major swap that amounted to a rare moment of cooperation in otherwise failed efforts to reach a ceasefire. The exchange came hours after Kyiv came under a large-scale Russian drone and missile attack that left at least 15 people injured. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russia's defence ministry said each side brought home 307 more soldiers on Saturday, a day after each released a total of 390 combatants and civilians. 'We expect more to come tomorrow,' Zelensky said on his official Telegram channel. Russia's defence ministry also said it expected the exchange to be continued, though it did not give details. Hours earlier, explosions and anti-aircraft fire were heard throughout Kyiv as many sought shelter in subway stations as Russian drones and missiles targeted the Ukrainian capital overnight. In talks held in Istanbul earlier this month – the first time the two sides met face to face for peace talks since Russia's 2022 full-scale military operation – Kyiv and Moscow agreed to swap 1,000 prisoners of war and civilian detainees each. AI Star Wars villain Darth Vader in Fortnite video game sparks actors' union to sue

Many delighted in the character's apparent wit, laughing as he tells them off for poor technique, or suggests that they are cheating. Users were quick to adopt the Sith Lord on their missions, posting clips of their interactions with one of cinema's most famous bad guys. Using AI models, developer Epic Games introduced the Emperor's consigliere into Battle Royale, a player-versus-player version of Fortnite in which squads form to defeat other contestants online. Fortnite announced last week it had got permission from the family of James Earl Jones to make a chatty Star Wars villain based on the late actor's voice work in the smash hit space opera series. An actors' union is suing the makers of the Fortnite video game over the use of AI to create an interactive Darth Vader. 'The empire has no need for fast food,' he chides one player who asks what his McDonald's order would be. 'If I were forced to endure such a culinary experience, I would take a Chicken Selects Meal with large fries and a Coca-Cola drink.' But actors' union SAG-AFTRA was not amused, claiming the use of AI in video games puts performers out of work. 'We celebrate the right of our members and their estates to control the use of their digital replicas and welcome the use of new technologies,' it said. Photo: Michael Zorn/Invision/AP 'However, we must protect our right to bargain terms and conditions around uses of voice that replace the work of our members, including those who previously did the work of matching Darth Vader's iconic rhythm and tone in video games.' The union, which says it represents around 160,000 people, says Epic's subsidiary did not talk to its negotiators over how AI would be used in the game. SAG-AFTRA said it had filed a claim for unfair labour practice with the National Labour Relations Board, a US federal agency that protects workers' rights to organise and negotiate. Epic Games did not immediately respond to queries, but a statement released last week cited Jones's family saying they were pleased with the project. 'We hope that this collaboration with Fortnite will allow both long-time fans of Darth Vader and newer generations to share in the enjoyment of this iconic character,' the family said. 'Darth Vader' accepts the ultimate villain award from Star Wars creator George Lucas at the 2011 Scream Awards, in Los Angeles. Photo: AP Performers have become concerned about the use of artificial intelligence in films, TV and video games. Improving technology makes it increasingly possible to digitally recreate the audio and visual likeness of an actor. The strikes that crippled Hollywood in 2023 stemmed in part from fears that studios would seek to use digital models to replace human performers and creators. Video game actors began their own strike against major players in the sector in July 2024. Advertisement
