Egis lands big Riyadh Integrated Phase 1 Infrastructure role
Following the official inauguration of Phase 1 infrastructure of the Riyadh Integrated Project, Egis, a global leader in architecture, construction engineering, consulting and operations and maintenance services, has announced that it will serve as a Package Administration and Supervision Consultant (PASC) for the Phase 1 infrastructure works at Riyadh Integrated operated by the Special Integrated Logistics Zone (SILZ ) Company.
This marks a major step forward for the kingdom's ambitions to become a global logistics leader.
The project is strategically positioned near King Khalid International Airport, anchoring its role as a future hub for trade, transport, and advanced logistics.
Egis will contribute to the oversight of critical infrastructure works that form the backbone of Riyadh Integrated in collaboration with other supervision partners.
This includes a comprehensive network of roads, utilities, landscaping, perimeter fencing, utility buildings, and key enabling works, all planned and delivered with long-term scalability and operational efficiency in mind.
Engineer Abdulmohsen Aldhubaya, the Construction Management GM at SILZ Company, said: "We are pleased to collaborate with Egis in the development of Phase 1 at Riyadh Integrated. This initial phase is a pivotal undertaking that will redefine benchmarks for integrated zones, both within the region and on a global scale."

Riyadh Integrated is a flagship special logistics zone under SILZ Company's masterplan and aligns directly with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
Through seamless connectivity, a competitive business environment, and next-generation logistics capabilities, it is set to attract global investors, strengthen local supply chains, and create new opportunities for talent development and knowledge transfer.

London Business School to start open education programme in Riyadh
London Business School has announced the launch of its first open executive education programme in Saudi Arabia, which will be offered at the new Executive Office in Riyadh. The move follows the college's global recognition and inclusion among the world's best executive education providers, according to the recently released Financial Times Executive Education 2025 ranking. LBS has been ranked among the world's leading providers of Executive Education in the newly released 2025 Financial Times Executive Education Rankings. Announcing this, LBS said the programmes will commence in the 2025–2026 academic year and aim to support the kingdom's priorities for economic diversification, innovation, and leadership capability in line with Saudi Vision 2030. NEOM green hydrogen plant stands 80pc completed
NEOM Green Hydrogen Company has announced that work is moving at a steady pace on its mega plant coming up at Oxagon in Saudi Arabia's northwestern region with 80% work completed across all its sites - the green hydrogen facility, wind garden, solar farm, and transmission grid. NEOM Green Hydrogen Company is a joint venture between Saudi utility major Acwa Power, US group Air Products and NEOM, the developer of Saudi Arabia's mega futuristic city. When fully operational at the end of 2026, it will be the world's largest green hydrogen plant producing up to 600 tonnes of carbon-free fuel daily, thus marking a significant milestone in the journey toward a greener future. Giving a project update, NEOM Green Hydrogen Company said its milestone equipment, including wind turbines, hydrogen storage vessels, electrolysers, cold box and pipe racks, is being currently installed. "Our project continues to advance rapidly - with 4 GW of solar and wind power generation scheduled for completion by mid-2026, and first ammonia product availability expected in 2027," said a company spokesman.
