Making matters worse, the car burst into flames as it was flung back onto the racetrack, where trailing cars collided with the wreckage. Stewart Friesen was involved in a major wreck during his Dirt Modified race at Autodrome Drummond. Friesen suffered a fractured right leg and a broken pelvis. Although he is recovering, he has been moved to a hospital in New York, where he will undergo multiple surgeries. Harvick has used Friesen's crash as an example, highlighting the lack of safety in short-track series, and cautioning young drivers to drive responsibly, regardless of the safety layers NASCAR has in place. Following the announcement by Trackhouse Racing that it was parting ways with NASCAR Cup Series driver Daniel Suarez after the 2025 season, The Athletic's reporter Jordan Bianchi has revealed the most viable option left for the Mexican driver in 2026. The number of full-time seats in the Cup Series campaign is nearly full next year, leaving no room for Suarez. Bianchi admits that it would be risky for Suarez to enter free agency next year. Instead, it would make more sense if he raced in the Xfinity Series for a year and returned to the Cup Series in 2027. He wrote: "Unfortunately for Suarez, he's entering free agency at a time when not a lot of viable options exist. Nearly all 36 full-time seats are already taken for next season. This is why many within the industry thought Suárez's best opportunity to reset his career was to take a ride in NASCAR's second-tier Xfinity Series, likely with Kaulig Racing or JR Motorsports, then re-enter free agency a year from now in what is anticipated to be a much more robust market." Suarez, however, is inclined to remain in the Cup Series and likely sees a potential opportunity opening up in the future. While Spire Motorsports could be one option, according to Bianchi, it remains to be seen if it would be willing to hire Suarez in place of Justin Haley. Fortunately for Suarez, Marks revealed that he would help him find the next opportunity in NASCAR. Opening up about going their separate ways, Marks said: "Look, Daniel's been a huge part of this company for four and a half years now and when we sat down and mapped out our three-year and our five-year plan and the sponsorships and everything that we're trying to accomplish over the next five years of the company, we just got to a point where we felt like that relationship had beared a lot of fruit for us, but it just was time to move on. "So, as we grow and as the team grows, obviously, we have to identify different opportunities. Look, Daniel has been a huge part of this company and a great friend of mine. We met last night, me and him in the hotel for an hour down in the lobby and we talked about our time together, everything that we've accomplished together and him and I are in a really good place. "It's just this isn't a sport where you do the same thing forever and as we grow, we just felt like it was time to wrap up that relationship and work to try to help him to find the next opportunity, but continue to grow as a company [is] what we're trying to accomplish."

And if you know that, then what good is it to sit here on this podcast and **** about it?" But it was so horrible that we got them talked into 670."
