OMG Girlz Announce First Tour ‘the Name Stays' Following Tiny, T.I.'s Legal Battle With Doll Company
'The OMG Girlz never stopped being 'OMG.' We have always been sisters and have relished every opportunity to work together,' the group tells Rolling Stone. 'We shifted gears for a bit to focus on our personal lives—including motherhood and exploring our creativity as individual artists, but we always planned on making music together again.'

Zonnique 'Star' Pullins, Bahja 'Beauty' Rodriguez, and Breaunna 'Babydoll' Womack will kick off their four-night run on Aug. 30 with a show in Atlanta, before stopping in New York City, D.C, and Dallas. Tickets are on sale now. The tour marks their live comeback after dropping a pair of singles, 'Make a Scene' in March and 'Tea' last week.
The group says that the fight for their brand and intellectual property in court allowed the group time to 're-record some of our old music' and record new songs as well. 'We are so grateful to Tip and Tiny for helping us keep this dream alive, and for all of the love and resources they have and continue to pour into our creative endeavors,' the trio says of the Harrises. (Star is the daughter of Tiny.) 'We are excited to paint ATL, Dallas, NYC, and DC pink, purple, and blue!'
Last September, T.I. and Tiny were originally awarded $71.4 million in damages from MGA Entertainment, the toy company behind L.O.L. Surprise! O.M.G. dolls. The couple had filed a first lawsuit in 2021, alleging that MGA copied the image and likeness of the OMG Girlz — the pop-R&B group they formed in 2009 and disbanded in 2015 — for a handful of dolls launched in 2019.
MGA challenged the outcome of the lawsuit this year, calling the punitive damages given 'constitutionally excessive.' A judge slashed the $53.6 million punitive award down to $1 while leaving the $17.9 million award for compensatory damages in place. The judge claimed that evidence at trial failed to show MGA designers 'willfully' copied the OMG Girlz. Earlier this month, the Harrises filed paperwork looking for a fourth trial to recover the slashed award.
While the Name Stays Tour is OMG Girlz's first headlining run ever, the group reunited in 2023 and joined Xscape and SWV's Queens of R&B Tour last year.

Michelle Obama Shares Blunt Opinion Of ESPN's Stephen A. Smith
Michelle Obama Shares Blunt Opinion Of ESPN's Stephen A. Smith originally appeared on The Spun. Stephen A. Smith has become such a polarizing TV personality that even Michelle Obama is talking about him. When it comes to expanding the brand, Smith is truly incredible at it. If he's not on ESPN's "First Take" ranting about the Dallas Cowboys, he's on NewsNation teasing a potential run in the 2028 election. We also can't forget that he's going to be featured on SiriusXM Radio this fall. Smith will host a daily show on Mad Dog Sports Radio as well as a "weekly current events, pop culture and social commentary-focused" show on a separate SiriusXM channel. This is part of his multi-year agreement with SiriusXM. While we can't deny Smith's rise to stardom, it appears he has rubbed some people the wrong way. The same can be said for ESPN and its current programming. During the latest episode of the "IMO" podcast, Michelle Obama shared her thoughts on the current state of ESPN's product. Let's just say she didn't hold back her true feelings. "It's all a sociological study. They think that sports is better reality TV, I'm like, 'it's the same thing.' If I listen to ESPN for an hour, it's like watching the 'Real Housewives of Atlanta,' you know?" Obama said, via Fox News Digital. "It's the same drama, and they're yelling at each other, and they don't get along, you know?" The former first lady then suggested that Smith is just like most reality TV stars. "I mean, Stephen A. Smith, he's just like every other. So that's why I'm like, 'what's the difference?' It's just, you know, it's just sociological drama. I mean, the fact that people over seasons of working still can't get along. They still have the same arguments, you know, and it's not just women. But this happens in sports, too. I find it fascinating." There are plenty of sports fans who would agree with Obama's assessment, especially those who despise debate shows. As for Smith, it wouldn't shock us if he fires back at Obama later this Obama Shares Blunt Opinion Of ESPN's Stephen A. Now, Nikki shared that she was actually injured during the exchange, as her breast implant had shifted. The two-time WWE Divas Champion revealed the news during a new episode of the Nikki & Brie Show. 'I mean, [is] your implant OK?' Brie quipped. 'It's stuck in your ribs.' 'I had to go to the doctor yesterday to get my tit looked at,' Nikki explained. 'I just was telling Brie, having conversations with my shirt off and I'm thinking in my head [that] I didn't think I would be here today on my day off in New York City getting my boobs looked at, knowing that I think my implant has moved. And I'm like, 'Alright… it has moved.' Nikki Bella says she will get her breast fixed after she's retired for good Nikki said she believes it's OK, then asked if anyone saw the 'heat spot' on Monday when Niven elbow dropped her in the ring. 'It put Nikki's implant right into her ribs,' Brie said. 'It's been hard to laugh and cough, but it's OK. We're going to get it fixed, one day. I told the doctor, I go, 'Newly divorced, so the minute the boots are hung up, I'm coming back to you and we're going to make these girls look real good,' Nikki added. 'Because these girls are going to get some good action in the future. And that can't look like that.' Brie said there's a bit of a physical difference between Nikki's breasts, joking that she saw them while Nikki was getting in the shower. 'OK, I showed you as well,' Nikki quipped. 'By the way, you guys, not that bad of a difference. They still look hot.' Despite the injury, Nikki said that Monday was still a magical night for her.
