A BRIT family of four have all sadly died in a horror car crash after they arrived for a holiday in Portugal.
They died in a head-on collision with another vehicle shortly after picking up their hire car at Faro Airport.

The victims include two 20-year-old twins, their 55-year-old father and their 51-year-old mum.
The 19-year-old girlfriend of one of the siblings also died in the tragic accident.
It also claimed the life of a Portuguese man travelling alone in the other car they collided with head-on.
The family had been travelling north from the Algarve towards Mourao in the district of Evora near the Spanish border.

The tragedy happened around 1.40am this morning on the IP2 main road in Castro Verde around halfway to their final destination.
Well-placed police sources said all four members of the same family killed were British passport holders.
The twins' parents hailed from Mourao and were returning to the municipality for holidays.
The man in the other car has been named locally as Ruben Goncalves, from a town in Portugal called Almodovar.
He was travelling south on the IP2.
The circumstances surrounding the fatal accident are being investigated by the GNR police force.
Town hall officials in Mourao have declared two days of mourning starting from tomorrow.
A spokesman said: 'The Municipal Council of Mourao has decreed two days of municipal mourning, effective from tomorrow, Sunday, following the death of five family members involved in a traffic accident last night on the IP2, near Castro Verde.
'The Municipality, in coordination with the family and law enforcement authorities, namely the local GNR Post in Castro Verde, obtained the number plate of the vehicle they were travelling in and confirmed the identity of the passengers at 3:35 p.m today.
'There were four occupants in the car, all from Mourao, and a young woman with ties to the family.
'Residents of England, they were traveling from Faro to Mourao for their usual and well-deserved vacation.
'It is with great sadness that the Municipality announces this information, offering its condolences to the families and friends of the victims.
'We inform you that all activities and events promoted by the Municipality are canceled for the entire weekend.'

They continued the evening at a local bar, where one of the victims was handed a Caipirinha cocktail - Brazil's national drink. Minutes later, he blacked out, waking up in hospital with a large sum of money missing from his bank account. The two Brits, who have not been named, also claim their phones were stolen. Horrifying footage shows one of the tourists staggering along the beachfront before collapsing into the sand. The women are then seen running along the street and jumping into a taxi before quickly leaving the area. In August last year, American businessman D'wayne Antonio Morris, 43, died in a similar suspected drugging and robbery case in Brazil, reported local outlet g1. Morris had arrived in Brazil just one day before he was found dead in his rented Copacabana apartment. Surveillance footage captured two women, including prime suspect Letícia Clara Bento da Silva, 23, leaving the scene after allegedly drugging and robbing him. Police believe the women used GHB - which is particularly dangerous in higher doses, as it can cause respiratory failure and death.

At an average room rate of £70 per night, visitors will have to stump up an extra £4.90 per night. Any non-resident staying overnight in Aberdeen will have to pay the fee which is expected to bring an extra £6.8 million a year into the city. This money will then be reinvested in the city's tourism sector. Stephen Gow, chair of VisitAberdeenshire, said the city received over 2.2 million overnight visitors last year which generated £500 million. He called the new measures a "well managed scheme" that will "drive continued growth of Aberdeen's visitor economy". He added: 'The headroom for growth in the leisure and conference sectors will be fulfilled through effective investment in promotion, events, and development of the tourism sector." Who will it apply to? The tax will apply to hotels, B&Bs, self-catering accommodation, campsites and caravan parks. For specific events like arts festivals or major conferences, councils will be permitted to adjust the 7 per cent figure. But the type of accommodation subject to the tax won't be able to change. Aberdeen City Council's finance and resources convener, Alex McLellan, said: "The income generated from the visitor levy, paid by those visiting the city, will provide a huge boost to our local economy and allow us to invest in bringing major events and conferences here on a more regular basis." The tax will also support large-scale events, productions and festivals through a special fund. Other tourist taxes Aberdeen is not the first Scottish city to introduce such measures but the 7 per cent rate is the highest so far. Both Edinburgh and Glasgow introduced a 5 per cent levy earlier this year which are due to come into effect in June 2026 and January 2027 respectively. McLellan added that tourists are paying similar amounts per night across Europe. "We should do the same to ensure we can compete in terms of attracting both business and leisure tourism to Aberdeen," he said. The new levies come after the Scottish Parliament introduced legislation to impose a levy on overnight accommodation. There isn't an equivalent law in England but Liverpool and Manchester, for example, have already found alternative ways to raise money in the same fashion. The new charges come as another popular UK destination imposed a tourist tax last month. Holidaymakers who take a trip to Wales will be thumped with an extra £1.30 per night after proposals were given the nod.

A 59-year-old Portuguese man has died after his 15st partner stumbled as she got out of bed and fell on top of him. The man, 59, was described locally as being slight in build and was reportedly smothered to death by his common-law wife, who was a year older and weighed more than 100kg (15st). They went to her aid during the incident, which occurred in the early hours of yesterday morning. They managed to lift her off him but he was already unconscious by the time firefighters and paramedics arrived and the efforts of medical responders to revive him after he went into cardiac arrest proved unsuccessful. The woman's weight reportedly played a key factor in her inability to get up after she became trapped. It is not clear how much she weighs but she has been described locally as 'obese.' Portuguese daily Correio da Manha said five men had to lift her off her partner. The freak tragedy happened in the residential district of Campanha on the outskirts of Porto. PSP police officers have investigated but have ruled out foul play and decided it was a freak accident. One source close to the investigation said: 'It's been categorised as an accidental asphyxia. It's obviously a very unusual death but there was no criminal intent. 'It was a stumble by the woman as she got out of bed and tried to move closer to her husband who was lying on the floor that led to what happened.' The unnamed dead man's partner is understood to have been offered grief counselling. The couple had lived together as man and wife, although they weren't formally married, for several years according to reports in Portugal.
