Royals outfielder Jac Caglianone hasn't had an abundance of downtime lately.
Caglianone has worn the jersey of six different teams in the past 12 months. Heck, in the past two months, he's been with the Royals' Double-A and Triple-A affiliates before finally joining the big-league club.

An off-day last week was spent driving to Kansas City from Nebraska.
After a road trip through St. Louis and Chicago, the Royals returned to Kansas City on Sunday night. With a scheduled off-day on Monday, Caglianone had a chance to catch his breath and get acquainted with Kansas City.
How did he spend that time?
'Looked around for places to live,' Caglianone said Tuesday at a news conference. 'Been living out of a hotel for a little while. That was really it. Went to a card shop. Just chill all day.'
Caglianone visited the Art of Sports in Leawood. Did he find any gems there?
'I did,' Caglianone said with a smile as the media members laughed.

Caglianone is a card collector and he was in search of his teammates.
'I found a few Royals cards. They had a (Cole) Ragans from the All-Star Game,' Caglianone said. 'I got a (Michael) Massey rookie, a couple Bobs. I got a Bob and Sal of them like celebrating. So snagged those.'
That'd be shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. and catcher Salvador Perez.
Witt is an avid card collector, so he's pleased his rookie teammate shares the hobby.
'It's always cool to kind of talk about it and stuff like that,' Witt noted.
While Caglianone was shopping, he did not see any Jac Caglianone cards, as he noted with a chuckle.
Perhaps they were sold out, but you can bet they'll be in stock now that the Royals' top prospect is with the team.

New Texans RB Nick Chubb ready for rejuvenation to career in Houston When signed to a one-year deal, the Houston Texans knew the risk of bringing in a player like running back Nick Chubb ahead of a pivotal season. They also know the reward of what a healthy version can bring to their backfield. That certainly outweighed the downside when deciding on whether $2.5 million needed to be given to a player who could get Houston over the hump. When healthy, Chubb can be a 1,000-yard, downhill runner with no end in sight. At 50%, he's a useful third-down option. While the Texans can't expect Chubb to regain his Cleveland Browns' potential, they expect him to be a solid secondary option behind Pro Bowler Joe Mixon. Yes, barring an injury, Mixon will remain the starter, but the potential tandem of two former AFC North standouts working together has many in the Texans' organization ready to see it in action. 'We all know the caliber of player that Nick can be when he's healthy and when he's at the top of his game,' coach DeMeco Ryans said Tuesday. 'He's a dynamic player. He's a game changer. So, we're just easing him in. We'll see how far he gets.' Injuries have derailed the once Hall of Fame-caliber career to close out his time with the Browns. In Week 2 against the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2023, Chubb suffered a season-ending knee injury that cost him the first six games of 2024. When returning, he was still dealing with the lingering after-effects, leading to him finishing with 332 yards and three touchdowns. He averaged just 3.3 yards per carry last fall, leading to Cleveland gaining the No. 2 overall pick. 'We understand its history,' Ryans said of Chubb. 'But, we don't dwell on that. We're giving him an opportunity. We'll see how it turns out for us here in Houston.' In his first meeting with the Texans, Chubb admitted that he wasn't near full strength last season and could feel the limitations in game. That's now a thing of the past as he begins the next chapter of his career in Houston. 'Injuries happen,' Chubb said Wednesday. 'With the injury I had, it takes about two years to get back. So I'm over the hump. I was able to get a full year in, of doing the things I do best. Now I'm feeling good as I have been in a long time." Even if the Texans get a fraction of the All-Pro runner, they'll be in good shape next fall. After Mixon missed several games due to injury, Houston's offense became a pedestrian one-dimensional unit that couldn't find a spark on the ground. That won't happen in 2025 now with Chubb on the roster, who's excited to reignite his career under new offensive coordinator Nick Caley. "He knows what he's doing. He knows his stuff," Chubb said of Caley. "We talked about the run schemes, things like that, what his plans are. I mean, I'm impressed. I'm happy. And I'm excited.' The Texans return for the start of training camp late next month.

The Los Angeles Dodgers spent a lot of money to shore up their biggest weakness from last season and, so far, it hasn't really helped. The Dodgers' pitching staff limped its way to a World Series championship amid high-profile injuries to the likes of Tyler Glasnow and Clayton Kershaw and proceeded to sign Blake Snell, Roki Sasaki and several veteran relievers to ensure they would stay healthier this year. Instead, they have more than a dozen pitchers on the injured list and are as desperate as ever for two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani to make it back to the mound. Luckily for LA, Ohtani is making some strong progress toward that return. In the latest update, manager Dave Roberts indicated there's now at least some chance he could take the bump before the All-Star break. But that return might mean the team has to move on from one of their other arms. And FanSided's Zach Pressnell believes that could be 2022 All-Star Tony Gonsolin. "The Dodgers may try to shift him to the bullpen, but there's also a chance Los Angeles could use him in a trade if its pitching rotation can get healthy. Returning Ohtani is step one to getting fully healthy. It could also be step one to sending Gonsolin out the door this season." The Dodgers placed Gonsolin on the injured list earlier this month but have indicated he shouldn't need season-ending surgery. Still, it's hard to say what kind of trade return he might bring as he's struggled on the mound even when healthy this season. Gonsolin has a 5.00 ERA in seven starts so far. That performance has made him perhaps the least effective pitcher within the Dodgers' star-studded rotation and it could mean he is the first hurler sent packing if the team needs to make room on the roster.
