Three Irish EuroMillions players have been left cursing their luck after they missed out on winning Tuesday's jaw-dropping jackpot by just one number. After going unclaimed for a number of weeks, Tuesday's EuroMillions jackpot rolled to a whopping €218 million, with three players in Ireland coming agonisingly close to scooping to life-changing sum. The numbers called in Tuesday's EuroMillions draw were: 18, 28, 42, 46, 48 and the Lucky Stars were 03 and 09 The biggest Irish winners in tonight's main EuroMillions draw were three punters who matched four numbers plus the two lucky stars, leaving each player just one correct number away from bagging the €218m top prize. While they may have missed out on the mammoth jackpot, the three Irish players still scoped a tidy sum as they won the 4 + 2 Stars prize to bag €1,218 each. Meanwhile, the numbers to look out for in Tuesdays EuroMillions Plus draw are: 25, 33, 43, 44 and 45. The jackpot in this draw, which was worth €500,000, went unclaimed, although 60 players in Ireland matched four correct numbers to each win €2,000. There were also 10 winners of the Ireland Only Raffle, with each player bagging €5,000.
