In fact, this is the industry's first OLED gaming tablet, at least according to RedMagic. Apart from having an OLED panel, the Astra Gaming Tablet is also the industry's first to feature a display with 5280Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming.The reason it's the most powerfulavailable on the market is because RedMagic is using Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version, which is a slightly overclocked version of the 'vanilla' model.

The Galaxy Watch 4 may be nearing the end of its software journey. Samsung has just launched the One UI 8 Watch beta based on Wear OS 6, but this latest update comes with a small catch that might mean a lot for owners of its older smartwatches. In a beta rollout notice shared on Samsung's official forums, the company notes that only users with the Galaxy Watch 5 or newer models are eligible to join the program. While Samsung didn't come out and say that the Watch 4 won't get the new One UI 8 Watch software, the absence of the 2021 model from the list speaks volumes. The Galaxy Watch 4 was Samsung's first smartwatch to switch from Tizen to the revamped Wear OS platform, launching in August 2021. It helped mark a major turning point for Android-based wearables. But that same August date now seems to work against it. Samsung's unofficial update policy for smartwatches has typically included about three years of major support. That puts the Watch 4 on a tight deadline before it ages out — and Wear OS 6 may not arrive in time. That gives the company some wiggle room, though history suggests the clock is ticking. The Galaxy Watch 3, for example, received its final update in late 2023, just three years after launch. The Watch 4 last received an update in May 2025. As for what this means in practice, there's still a chance that smaller updates or security patches could arrive later. But based on the way the One UI 8 Watch rollout is being handled, it seems unlikely that major updates are still planned for the Galaxy Watch 4. It's not exactly unexpected. Devices with limited hardware typically fall off the update roadmap once new features outgrow the older chipsets. Samsung isn't alone in this — both Google's and Apple's smartwatches also follow similar lifespans. Apple generally supports its Apple Watches with software updates and hardware repairs for a minimum of five years from when the product was last sold, which can sometimes bring the support window up to seven years. That said, it would have been nice to see Samsung officially confirm its plans, especially for customers who bought the Watch 4 expecting long-term support. On the flip side, those still using the device can take some comfort in knowing it had a strong run, and the wearable space continues to evolve quickly.

OnePlus 15 to bring some big changes
The OnePlus 13's successor could end up being called OnePlus 15, so as to avoid "4" due to tetraphobia in some Asian markets. That aside, it's now rumored to bring some pretty significant changes. First off, its screen will allegedly be lower-res than its predecessor's, only "1.5K". This was done in order to save some money which is being invested elsewhere in the phone. The display size will be 6.78", it will be flat, and will have ultra-narrow bezels on all four sides. OnePlus 13 The phone's camera island will not be circular anymore, and the device will have three shooters on the back, including a 50 MP main camera and a periscope telephoto camera. It will also introduce its own image brand for the first time. This may as well be Oppo's Lumo, by the way. Thus, it's unclear what will happen with the Hasselblad co-branding, a staple of OnePlus flagships for the past few years. Either it continues and we'll have three brands on the back of the phone - OnePlus, Hasselblad, and the new OnePlus imaging brand - or it doesn't. That remains to be seen. In case the screen resolution downgrade made you think there will be a OnePlus 15 Pro as well, think again - the source of this leak claims that won't be the case, the 15 is all we're getting. Fresh renders of OnePlus Watch 3 hint at compact design and shorter endurance
OnePlus has confirmed that the Watch 3 is arriving soon, but a new report hints that the smaller version might come with a noticeable tradeoff. According to a leak that comes complete with renders, a spec sheet is also included which reveals that the upcoming 43mm OnePlus Watch 3 will offer significantly less battery life than its 47mm counterpart. While the 47mm version is expected to provide up to 100 hours of battery life, the 43mm model reportedly drops that number to around 72 hours. That's a difference of more than a full day, and while not surprising given the reduction in size, it's still worth highlighting for those deciding between the two variants. This smaller version is said to come with a 1.32-inch AMOLED display running at 466 x 466 resolution. Like the larger version, it will reportedly feature a hybrid software approach with Wear OS and RTOS (real-time operating system), which can help optimize power use when smart features aren't needed constantly. Still, even with software efficiencies in place, the smaller 345mAh battery doesn't seem to match the performance of the larger one. But if accurate, the 28-hour difference between the two models could be an important factor for users who prioritize longer endurance. Historically, this kind of tradeoff is not uncommon. Other Wear OS smartwatches like the Pixel Watch and Samsung Galaxy Watch series have also shown similar behavior: the more compact the design, the less time between charges. That's largely due to smaller batteries and less room for thermal management. OnePlus is expected to fully unveil the Watch 3 lineup during its July 8 event, alongside other upcoming products including the Nord Buds 4, OnePlus Pad 2, and Nord 5 series. While we wait for official specs, the reported 43mm Watch 3 battery life already signals that users may have to choose between comfort and performance. If OnePlus can further optimize its software to extend battery life despite the smaller size, I believe that could set the Watch 3 apart from competing devices. Otherwise, the 43mm version may follow a familiar trend: slimmer profile, shorter lifespan.
