A PRINCE has tragically died just days before the birth of his first child while on a work trip in Africa.
Prince Harald von Hohenzollern, a 63-year-old German aristocrat, died suddenly just nine months after marrying Princess Josefa von Hohenzollern, 51.

Josefa is seeking re-election as mayor of a German town
He is believed to have died after suffering a heart attack in Namibia, where he was involved in the diamond industry.
Josefa, heavily pregnant, shared the heartbreaking news with a tribute on social media.
She posted a touching collage of photos of the pair together.
Josefa is running for re-election as mayor of the German town Leonberg, but said she would be taking time off the campaign trail to grieve.
She wrote: "Dear fellow citizens of Leonberg, today I am writing with a heavy heart.
"My beloved husband Harald v. Hohenzollern died quite unexpectedly of a sudden cardiac death. This loss hits me very deep.
"I need time to grieve, say goodbye and be there for our unborn child. That's why I will be stepping back from campaigning and social media in the coming days.
"I hope for your understanding during this time off and thank you from the bottom of my heart at this point for your condolences and support."
However, Josefa said she would continue with her candidacy as it would have been in her late husband's best interests.
Harald's grand lineage is a former German royal dynasty that dates all the way back to 1061.
Its members hail from Germany as well as Romania.
Josefa became a princess when she married Harald back in September 2024 in her hometown, Kollnburg.

Unsure on what to do, the anonymous man took to social media, desperate for advice. Posting on Reddit, on the r/treelaw thread, the man uploaded a snap of his neighbour's tall trees. Alongside the post, which was shared under the username @datepit, the frustrated man wrote: 'Neighbours have no interest in chopping these trees down. 'The fence will fall down probably this year and they block all the sunlight for my garden.' Following this, he then desperately questioned: 'What to do?' Stunned by the post, social media users eagerly raced to the comments to share their advice. But while the gentleman may have expected people to advise him to have a serious chat with the neighbour or contact the council, the comment section was a very different story. It appeared that many didn't think the man's neighbour was the one at fault - as numerous users questioned the poster's 'ridiculous' complaints. One person asked: 'Why would they chop them down? I'm sure the reason they planted them is so they could have a wall. It looks pretty nice. What do you propose they do instead?' 'Beautiful' girl, 7, crushed to death by falling tree named

Leonna, from Dagenham, was enjoying the warm weather in Chalkwell Park in Southend-on-Sea on Sunday when a tree collapsed. Several children were pinned beneath it, including Leonna, as dozens of park-goers and family members rushed to raise the broken branches. Leonna was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, where she died. The youngster's family said in a statement today: 'It is with broken hearts and unimaginable pain that we share the devastating loss of our beloved daughter Leonna – our beautiful, bright, and loving little girl, taken from us far too soon.
