Who is Dakota Johnson's stepmum, Kelley Phleger? The teacher and former debutante married Miami Vice star Don Johnson in 1999 and the pair have been going strong ever since

Fifty Shades of Grey star Dakota Johnson's father,
Don Johnson , is a Hollywood legend in his own right. The Golden Globe-winning actor shares Dakota with his ex-wife, Oscar-nominated actress Melanie Griffith, whom he met when he was 22 and she was 14. The former couple started living together when Griffith was just 15 and got engaged as soon as she turned 18. They married in 1976, divorced the same year, remarried in 1989, and divorced again in 1994. By 1999, Johnson had moved on and was tying the knot with his now-wife Kelley Phleger, who is about 18 years his junior.
Johnson is a father to five children, including Dakota Johnson and
Jesse Johnson (whom he shares with Patti D'Arbanville). He welcomed his three youngest children, Atherton Grace, Jasper Breckenridge and Deacon Johnson with his current missus, Kelley Phleger.
But what else do we know about the woman who made Don Johnson settle down?

When Johnson first met Phleger in 1996 through their mutual friend Jo Schuman Silver at a party, she was reportedly in a relationship with
Gavin Newsom , the current governor of California. They allegedly broke up not long afterwards and she got together with Johnson.

In a September 2024 Instagram post, Johnson gushed over his wife as he marked their 25th wedding anniversary with a beautiful picture of them matching in black outfits. 'My Best Gurl for 25 years !! Think I'll keep her,' he captioned the post along with a red heart emoji. Indeed, this is Johnson's longest marriage and the couple are clearly going strong.
What are her children doing?

All a the buzz: 250 million honeybees escape truck near Canada border

There was a buzz in the air on Friday in northwestern Washington state as about 250 million honeybees escaped a commercial truck that overturned. Advertisement The truck hauling an estimated 31,800kg (70,000lbs) of honeybee hives rolled over around 4am close to the Canadian border near Lynden, the Whatcom county Sheriff's Office said in social media posts. Deputies, county public works employees and several bee experts responded to the scene. The box hives later came off the truck, and local beekeepers swarmed to help recover, restore and reset the hives, according to the sheriff's office. The plan is to allow the bees to return to their hives and find their queen bee in the next day or two, saving as many of the bees as possible, according to the sheriff's office. Advertisement 'Thank you to the wonderful community of beekeepers: over two dozen showed up to help ensure the rescue of millions of pollinating honey bees would be as successful as possible,' the sheriff's office post said. The public was advised to avoid the area on Friday, and sheriff's deputies had to dive into in their squad cars at times to avoid being stung.

Victoria Beckham on why ‘now is the time' for Netflix series about her journey in fashion

For someone who has been famous since the late 1990s, Victoria Beckham is surprisingly busy in the 2020s. After many years of making a loss, her eponymous fashion company saw revenue growth of more than 50 per cent in 2023, and shrank its operating losses before tax to £2.9 million (about US$3.9 million), putting it on the road to profitability, no small thing for an independent luxury fashion brand. Beckham also introduced a successful fragrance line two years ago, and became the accidental star of a Netflix documentary series about her husband, football star David Beckham. Her charming, funny cameos showed a playful and relatable side to the megawatt couple who wore matching purple Versace wedding outfits. This year is looking no less buzzy for Victoria. For the first time ever she showed her resort collection in person, rather than digitally, at a glamorous trunk show at Centurion New York, where American Express' Centurion members could have an early pick of the pieces. Photo: Netflix/Beckhams In the autumn, Beckham will be the star of her own Netflix docuseries , which will follow her day to day as the creative director of her fashion and beauty brands. 'It's hard work and determination that has built the brand into what it is now, and why I'm so proud as an independent brand to be able to say I'm profitable,' she said in an interview.

Coming full circle for the artistic director of Cirque du Soleil's Kooza

I WAS BORN IN St Petersburg, Florida, in 1984. My mum called me Mr Sparkles or Mr Showman. I was always putting on a show. I was always entertaining whoever was around. I definitely had something. That's why I think they encouraged me to go into theatre. There was just something a little different. They recognised something special. When they heard me sing in the school choir, that was when it turned into 'put him in lessons and let's help facilitate that as much as we can'. Jamieson Lindenberg in his youth. That is where A performing-arts high school for theatre and dance. My core education and training vocally as an artist was in this conservatory as a young adult. That is where Cirque du Soleil came to recruit ushers. We did an interview and they offered me a position as an usher for a show called Quidam that was playing at the Tropicana Field (in St Petersburg). That was my first job. I was 15. I'D NEVER HEARD OF Cirque du Soleil, but I was absolutely blown away by what I was seeing. I was studying theatre, so it was quite a contrast to Broadway, which is what I went on to do. I was disappointed, but didn't even think about Cirque or that I could ever perform or be involved in that capacity because I finished school for theatre.
