However, there's nothing worse than sitting down with a good book and a cup of tea, only to notice that your nosy neighbours are peeking into the garden.
Although you may think that putting up a fence to block peepers out will be a pricey endeavour, Lidl's privacy fence is just £22.99.
The Livarno Home Garden Screening is perfect for creating privacy and serenity in your garden, balcony or patio.
It features a tasteful hedge design made with durable plastic, allowing the screen to blend in with your greenery.

The product is perfect for attaching to existing fences, railings and pergolas, and can be cut to size, to make it a perfect fit.
To attach the screen, simply use the 20 cable ties included in the purchase.
And there's no need to worry about rain or wind ruining the screen, as it is both weatherproof and UV-resistant.
The privacy screen is available to buy now, as part of Lidl's Middle Aisle offers.
However, you'll have to be quick, as with all Middle Aisle products, once they're gone, they're gone.
Lidl fans looking to spruce up their garden fence will also be keen to check out the Ronseal One Coat Shed & Fence Protector, which is currently on sale at the bargain supermarket for £7.99.

A single coat of the budget paint will give you lasting colour and protection for two years.
Not only this, but this shed and fence paint will stand up to rain, frost, snow and sun - yes, you heard that correctly.
The 'high-quality' garden fence and shed paint is not only quick-drying, but it's super easy to apply too.
And anyone keen to add a bit of colour to their garden will be delighted to know that Lidl is now selling a Marguerite daisy plant for just £9.99.
Why do Aldi and Lidl have such fast checkouts
IF you've ever shopped in Aldi or Lidl then you'll probably have experienced its ultra-fast checkout staff.
Aldi's speedy reputation is no mistake, in fact, the supermarket claims that its tills are 40 per cent quicker than rivals.
It's all part of Aldi's plan to be as efficient as possible - and this, the budget shop claims, helps keep costs low for shoppers.
Efficient barcodes on packaging means staff are able to scan items as quickly as possible, with the majority of products having multiple barcodes to speed up the process.
It also uses 'shelf-ready' packaging which keeps costs low when it comes to replenishing stock.
Posting on the Garden Makeover Ideas On A Budget Facebook group, which boasts 850,000 members, gardening fan Juliet posted a picture of the flowering plant and said: "Lidl £9.99!
"It's so pretty, I'd say run not walk as they won't be there for long."
Other shoppers have now been racing to their nearest store to bag one.
"Need a trip to Lidl", one person said.
A second cried: "I saw this in Lidl's today & wish I picked one up."
A third wrote: "I brought 2 last year and they didn't come back….. so I just got one this year…they are lovely."
A fourth begged a pal: "Are you going to Lidl tomorrow?? If so yes please X2."

The best Aldi beers to buy, tried and tested

Aldi was named Drinks Retailer of the Year for the seventh year on the trot at the Retail Industry Awards in 2024, which can partly be attributed to its wines – for reasonable prices it delivers some excellent summer sips – but it also has a growing reputation for beer. You will find a good mix of well-known labels (Corona, San Miguel and Stella Artois, for example) along the aisles, nestled between own-brand replicas (an approach echoed at Lidl) that deliver the same level of quality but at a considerably lower price – as I discovered in a tasting of the supermarket's most commonly available brews. In fact, I found almost all of the dupes to be equal to, if not better than, their big-name equivalents. The only exceptions were the Rossini Lager (not a patch on Peroni) and the Harper's Brew Co IPA, which, while being a drinkable beer in its own right, can't hold a candle to St Austell's Proper Job, a true modern classic. You will find my tasting notes for both bottles below. While Aldi offers more lagers than anything else, as you'd expect, it does have an excellent set of options for ale drinkers – just surpassing Lidl's range, in my opinion. Traditional brews such as Abbot Ale and Shepherd Neame's Bishops Finger sit alongside high-quality craft cans including the irrepressible William Bros Brewing Co's Magma Hazy. I tested all of the following beers blind, so neither my own bias nor even the snazziest of packaging was able to influence my reviews. Here I share my recommendations for the best beers to buy at Aldi – as well as flagging those which aren't worth a pour.
