Meet actress, who was madly in love with Vinod Khanna, used to scare Sunny Deol on sets, single at 67, her name is..., husband was...
The 70s saw Vinod Khanna ruling the industry with his intense performances, charisma and dashing looks. The actor made his debut with Sunil Dutt's Man Ka Meet in 1969, and quickly became the heartthrob of the nation. Apart from glitz and glam, very little is known about the late superstar's personal life. Did you know that he was reportedly dating Amrita Singh and the two were about to get married?
Amrita Singh and Vinod Khanna first met on the sets of the film Batwara . Right from their first meet-up, Amrita reportedly fell head-over-heels in love with him. Sources claim that she was already engaged to former head coach of the India national cricket team Ravi Shastri. However, after some time, the two broke off their engagement and parted ways.
Amrita was 12-years younger than Khanna at the time, and was madly in love with her. The two began dating, and their relationship turned series with speculations soon buzzed about their marriage plans. However, everything was going hunky-dory until, Amrita's mother, Rukhsana Sultana intervened and pointed fingers at their 12-year age gap and Khanna's divorce with his wife Geetanjali. According to reports, she also had a problem with his religion, and was against her daughter getting married to a Hindu boy. Amrita and Vinod then eventually parted ways. Finally, she got married to Saif Ali Khan, and Vinod found love in Kavita Daftary.
Interestingly, apart from her serious relationship with Vinod Khanna, Amrita also garnered limelight for her alleged romance with actor Sunny Deol. In 1993, the two made their Bollywood debut with the film Betaab. Audiences loved their on-screen chemistry, but their off-screen camaraderie too created a lot of buzz.
There were reports that Sunny Deol used to get intimidated by Amrita Singh's wonderful and extroverted personality, and used to be scared while doing romantic scenes with her. Well, one thing led to another, and their off-screen romance was definitely brewing until she came to know about his wife Pooja Deol. Before starting off in the industry, Sunny was already married and hid his relationship from the world.
When the news of Deol's marriage broke out, Amrita was heartbroken and eventually distanced himself from him. Also, Amrita's mother had an issue to her daughter's relationship with a married man. Amrita Singh and Sunny Deol had no choice left, but to part ways, and never collaborated again for any project.

While the promotional material has garnered excitement among the audience, let's find out whether Materialists has struck the chord with cinegoers or not. In today's world, the majority of people have a practical mindset for every aspect including marriages, relationships and others. Harry, who has now taken Lucy on a date to a fancy restaurant pitches himself to her Mr Perfect. However, Lucy says he is too good for him and as per matchmaking skills, he can be termed a 'unicorn,' a dream match for every girl because of his elite status and good looks. So, with whom will Lucy finally end up with? While the story struck the right chord by exploring the dynamics of relationships in today's world and how are perceived differently by millennials and GenZs, somehow I felt these kinds of plots and treatments have been shown in Bollywood films 90s and 2000s. Director Celine Song, who also served as a writer for Materialists, seemed to have undercooked the character of Pedro with the emotional arc of Chris and Dakota could have been explored with more depth. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD Talking about the performances, all three stars played their portrayals to the T and captured the essence of their character with ease and finesse. On the whole, Materialists is a decent watch, which has its heart at the right place. Rating: 3 (out of 5 stars) Materialists is playing in cinemas

Jackson Wang is on his second trip to India, the country he had dreamt of visiting since his GOT7 days. And now that he's here, the K-pop idol is making sure to bag at least one Bollywood project, and who better to collaborate with than his buddy Hrithik Roshan. Jackson recently sat down with Pinkvilla and addressed the widely speculated rumours about his cameo in Krrish 4. But that's not all. The Hong Kong-based rapper has also been binge-watching a lot of Bollywood films lately, and fans are impressed by how deep his knowledge runs. The K-pop star is currently in India promoting his new solo album, Magic Man 2. They posed for pictures and even offered him blessings along with some advice. Speaking to the outlet, Jackson called Hrithik a 'big legendary star as himself,' and shared that their chat went way beyond just work, calling it inspiring. When pressed on the Krrish 4 rumours, Jackson kept teasing, 'I'm in. You'd be surprised. You'd be like, 'Was that Jackson?' I come out and I die right away. I love that.' But then, half-joking, he admitted he genuinely wants to be part of the superhero franchise. When asked if he'd be willing to contribute vocals and music for the film, the K-pop star said if Hrithik asks, it would be an honour, and he'd even do it for free. 'Maybe I should sign with Hrithik. The film, starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, won an Oscar in the Best Original Song category. Jackson said he was hooked on the dance battle with the leads. Calling the storyline 'crazy,' he said, 'It is so deep, it's about friendship, but at the same time they become enemies, and it ends with a dance battle — and it was being very honest.' He pointed out how plots like that can easily turn cringe, 'but the film didn't, it was just wow.' Jackson revealed he's also friends with White Tiger star Adarsh Gourav, whom he randomly met at a hotel in Thailand while grabbing lunch at the buffet. He approached him saying, 'Hey, I know you.' Once again, Jackson praised the film for avoiding clichés and pulling off an unexpected performance, but had a question for fans: 'When the character was in the basement, were the cockroaches CG, CGI, or real cockroaches? I really want to know the answer.' Jackson recently teamed up with Indian Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh for the new single 'Buck.' The K-pop idol revealed how he slid into Dosanjh's DMs after watching him tear up the Coachella stage, and then pitched the idea hoping for a collab. He also spoke about reuniting with his GOT7 bandmates in Thailand, where the group performed two sold-out shows at Rajamangala Stadium in May. Talking about it, Jackson said it felt good to be back with his group, where decisions were made as a team, not just about him. 'I had my own opinions but this is about us. I just need to focus on practicing and doing my job well,' he said.
