Brookfield police seek truck, driver suspected of breaking into vehicles
Brookfield police are trying to track down the driver of a pickup truck, a person who is suspected of stealing from other vehicles.
The alleged crime happened on the morning of May 26 – at the Sunset Building in Brookfield.

BROOKFIELD, Wis. - Brookfield police are asking for the public's help to track down a truck and its driver, who is suspected of entering locked and unlocked vehicles and removing items.
What we know
Authorities said around 6 a.m. on Monday, May 26, a gray or silver early 2000s Toyota Tundra entered the parking lots of the Sunset Building at 3725 N. 126th Street in Brookfield.

Officials say the driver of the Toyota attempted to enter multiple locked and unlocked vehicles and removed items from the vehicles. It appears during the incident, the Toyota suffered heavy front-end damage from driving into a parked vehicle in the parking lot. The Toyota is then seen leaving the area towing a black PJ brand 26' trailer, which the suspect stole from this location.

Authorities searching for missing Riverside County woman last seen in May
Authorities are still searching for a missing Riverside County woman who was last seen in May. Mary Richardson, 69, was last seen on May 8 in Blythe while she was behind the wheel of a red Toyota Tundra with the California license plate 38215A4, according to the Blythe Police Department. Police described her as standing about 5-foot-7 and weighing around 175 pounds. She has reddish brown hair and hazel eyes. Circumstances surrounding her disappearance are unclear. Anyone who may know more about her whereabouts was asked to contact BPD at (760) 922-6111 ext. 5.

Abandoned puppy found in Mass. euthanized, police investigate as animal cruelty
Police have been investigating an animal cruelty case in which two puppies were found abandoned in Randolph earlier this month, according to police. One of the puppies was in such bad condition that veterinarians decided to euthanize it. On the evening of Aug. 1, a passerby found two puppies abandoned along a walkway between the Martin E. Young Elementary School on Lou Courtney Drive and Barbara Road, Randolph police said in a press release. The passerby quickly notified police, and the puppies — a male and female around 11 weeks old — were immediately taken to VCA Weymouth. 'Unfortunately, shortly after arrival, it was determined that due to the extent of the condition of the male puppy, the most compassionate recourse was to provide him with a peaceful passing,' police wrote. Randolph police are now asking the public to help them identify 'the individual(s) responsible for dumping these helpless dogs,' the police department wrote. Investigators believe the suspects are likely basement breeders who live in Randolph or a neighboring community. The puppies are of mixed breed — possibly some sort of shepherd or hound mix — and have 'a distinct black tail,' police said. The female puppy is not currently up for adoption. Randolph police are asking anyone who thinks they may have seen suspicious activity in the area on or around Aug. 1 or who knows of home breeders in the area that breed similar dogs to contact them. Those with information about the case are asked to call Detective Kevin Aldred at 781-963-1212, police said.
