Shortly after, around 12:10 p.m., another officer conducted a traffic stop for a seatbelt violation. The driver reportedly showed signs of impairment, and a K9 gave a positive alert on the vehicle. The second driver also admitted to recent methamphetamine use and was arrested for their 6th OWI offense. Officers also noted that methamphetamine was found in their vehicle.
