CHICAGO — Authorities are asking for help in the search for a teen girl who has been missing for a week.
According to Chicago police, a search is underway for 14-year-old Anayelia Garcia, who officers say has been missing since Friday, May 30.

Police say the missing teen was last seen on the day she was last contacted in the 3700 block of West 61st Place, in West Lawn on the city's Southwest Side.
Garcia, who stands 5-foot-1 and weighs around 120 pounds, has brown eyes and black hair.
A photo provided by Chicago police shows the missing teen girl with braids, which officers say she may have had at the time of her disappearance. Additionally, the photo shows her with earrings and short bangs, though it is unclear if she had either when she went missing.
Officers say Garcia was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, with black and purple Jordan gym shoes.
Authorities shared details about the missing teen's disappearance in a news release sent out on Thursday morning.

CSPD: Commercial building damaged in single-vehicle crash

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) reported that officers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Cheyenne Meadows Road, near South Nevada Avenue, that damaged a business on Friday, Aug. 8. According to CSPD, when officers and crew from the Colorado Springs Fire Department arrived at the scene at around 8:30 p.m., they found that a car had hit a commercial building in the 800 block of Cheyenne Meadows Road. The business was closed, and no one was injured, including the driver of the vehicle. CSPD stated that the property was significantly damaged inside the building due to the crash.
