Savannah Guthrie reveals the rules inside her 11-year-old daughter's phone usage ‘contract'
Savannah Guthrie is dialed into her young daughter's life. The 'Today' show co-anchor shared the phone usage contract she wrote for her 11-year-old daughter, Vale, during Wednesday's episode of 'Today with Jena & Friends.' 'My daughter got a little personal iCloud address and I actually drafted a contract for her to sign,' Guthrie said. 'I know that contract,' co-host Jenna Bush Hager recalled. 'It was basically like 'I know that mommy and daddy love me more than anything in the world,'' Guthrie explained. ''I know that mommy and daddy can read my texts. I know I wouldn't put in a text anything I don't want grandma and grandpa to see [or] that I wouldn't want to see on the front page of the New York Times.'' Vale only has an iCloud address and not an iPhone, Guthrie clarified. The mother of two insisted that even though Vale 'knows that I reserve the right to look at her texts,' she confessed that she doesn't monitor them. 'I trust her,' Guthrie added. The 53-year-old broadcaster added that she believed the word 'snooping' had a negative connotation and would rather call it 'looking' or 'parenting.' Guthrie publicly hoped that her kids would never have a phone but confessed that she might have a 'different' approach after they turn 16. The 'Today' co-anchor, who joined NBC's morning program in June 2011, shares two kids with her husband, Michael Feldman. Hager confessed that she was inspired to use a similar contract for her 9-year-old daughter, Poppy Louise Hager, when she turns 10. 'I need the contract again, unless I can find it in my texts,' Hager quipped to Guthrie. Texts addressed to Poppy are currently sent to Hager's phone, the 43-year-old television personality revealed. 'I get her text messages because she just gives everybody my cell phone [number],' she explained. 'Which is enough to drive a mother- I mean by the way she doesn't text that much because she doesn't have a phone but she'll use her iPad to be like 'hey' and somebody will text back 'hey' and I'm like, 'What is happening where I'm getting GiGi's Facetimes?'' Hager said her eldest daughter, Margaret Laura 'Mila' Hager, received an iCloud address when she was around 10 or 11 years old. Hager is the granddaughter of the late former President George H.W. Bush and the daughter of former President George W. Bush. She shares three kids, Mila, Poppy and Hal, with her husband Henry Hager, whom she met in 2004 when he was working for her father on his reelection campaign. Solve the daily Crossword

Seth Meyers Has Responded To All Of The News Reports About His Beloved Dog Frisbee's Death Being About How Much Andy Samberg Hated Her
You've probably heard by now that Seth Meyers's beloved Italian Greyhound, Frisbee, died earlier this week at age 14. And, if you had heard this news, then you've also probably seen that Frisbee was embroiled in a lifelong feud with Seth's friend and fellow comic Andy Samberg. Let me explain. Related: Andy's beef with Frisbee first became public in a March 2014 episode of Late Night With Seth Meyers, of which Andy was a guest. During the interview, Seth mentioned his 'adorable dog named Frisbee,' only for Andy to correct him: 'You have a dog.' 'You met my dog when she was basically a two-month-old puppy, and you basically said 'No, thank you,'' Seth then revealed, with Andy explaining: 'Frisbee is a dog, who to me, looks kinda rat-like. And I lived in New York for a long time and don't get down on rats.' 'I believe you told my wife that you had seen rocks that were cuter than Frisbee,' Seth recalled. This feud ended up becoming a running bit, and just this year, Seth said of his pal: 'He really hates my dog, and he's hated my dog since she was little, and now she's 14 years old.' 'Here's a true thing he did,' Seth detailed on his show. 'I sent our Christmas card, Frisbee's in it every year. He scratched out her face like a serial killer, and mailed it back.' 'You might as well have sent me anthrax,' Andy confessed as he pointed out Frisbee wearing a knitted reindeer hat in the photo. 'Look at this piece of shit! I had to hire a cleaning crew 'cuz of all the barf in my house.' 'I've been walking home in New York drunk at four in the morning and seen rats I like more than Frisbee,' he insisted. And even when Andy and Seth's mutual friend Colin Jost was a guest on Late Night in early 2021, Andy spammed him with text messages about Frisbee, which Colin read aloud. Related: 'Also, Frisbee sucks, right?' Colin recited at the time. ''The dog.' He specified the dog. 'Please respond. Spinning out. Need to know you hate Frisbee.'' Over the years, Seth leaned into the feeling being mutual, and even joked that Frisbee had hated Andy's movie Palm Springs. And just last month, Seth teamed up with Amy Poehler to prank Andy with the news that Frisbee had died, with the dog's health declining in recent months. Speaking to Amy before her interview with Andy, Seth told her to tell her guest that she'd tried to speak to him before the recording but couldn't because his dog had passed away. Amy agreed, and in video footage, Andy's face visibly lit up when she told him the sad news. Good Hang / Via 'Don't even play because I'll be so happy,' he told her. 'I will never back off that. That dog sucks, dude! And I know this is a good vibes cast, so I don't even want to bring that energy, but that dog is like a rat carcass.' Related: Sadly, Frisbee actually did die earlier this week, with Seth announcing the news in an Instagram post on Tuesday — one day after Andy's birthday. Sharing a collection of photos of the pup, Seth wrote: 'RIP to Frisbee, our OG IG who I was happy to go grey with. She was at her best curled in your lap and patient when we dressed her up like a pilgrim. Thanks for 14 amazing years, girl.' And, totally unsurprisingly, the vast majority of reactions to Frisbee's death referenced Andy, with one of the top comments on Seth's post reading: 'May her ghost haunt Andy Samberg forever 🙏🏻♥️' 'Does anyone have an alibi for samberg?!' somebody else asked, while another added: 'Andy's birthday wish came true :(' News articles covering Frisbee's death also led with Andy's hatred for the dog, and thankfully, Seth is able to see the funny side of it all amid his grief. Sharing a screenshot of a news headline that reads: 'Frisbee, Seth Meyers's Dog and Andy Samberg's Archenemy, Dies' to his Instagram story, Seth wrote: 'Despite being sad about Frisbee's passing, I can also acknowledge that it's very funny every headline is about how much Samberg hated her guts.' Related: He also quote-tweeted a People news article that read: 'Seth Meyers' Dog Frisbee, Famously Disliked by Andy Samberg, Dies at 14' to point out: 'She also disliked him, FWIW.' X @sethmeyers / Via Meanwhile, Andy has not publicly acknowledged his nemesis's death, but we'll be sure to let you know if he does — as always, let me know your thoughts in the comments below! 'Biggest Loser' stars Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper's friendship was fractured long before explosive doc
For years, it seemed like Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper, who starred as trainers on "The Biggest Loser" for 12 seasons, shared an unbreakable bond onscreen. But, there was a different story unfolding behind the scenes. The dynamic duo took viewers by storm with their individual, unique way of coaching contestants on the beloved-turned-controversial NBC show between 2004 and 2013. While Michaels was known to give tough-love, Harper showed a much softer approach. Though their onscreen chemistry was undoubtedly a driving force for the show, things took an unexpected turn circa 2013. According to claims made in Netflix's explosive docuseries, "Fit for TV: The Reality of the Biggest Loser," Michaels allegedly broke show rules by distributing caffeine pills to contestants. Shortly after the show's premiere last week, Michaels — who did not participate in the documentary — took to social media to refute this particular claim, plus many more. "Here is an email chain with @bobharper - the Biggest Loser's producers - @drhuizenga's guy… who stayed on set with us and distributed the fat burners about which 'fat burners' / caffeine pills to purchase the contestants," she wrote on Instagram, alongside screenshots of alleged emails from 2009. Michaels said this "one email of many" shows that, "Dr. Huizenga did approve caffeine pills on many seasons of 'Biggest Loser.' Bob Harper not only knew about the caffeine pills, the 'stackers fat burner' were actually his suggestion." Additionally, said Michaels, "Caffeine was NEVER banned on 'The Biggest Loser.'" "Wild how some folks still lie like it's 1985 before texts and email were a thing," she added. When asked by The Guardian during a recent interview if he was involved in handing out caffeine pills, Harper said, "Absolutely not." Despite the onscreen camaraderie, Harper seemed to have lost touch with his TV partner after Michaels resigned from the show in 2014. Michaels claimed she resigned after former contestant Rachel Frederickson's dramatic weight loss during the season 15 finale caused a wave of concern. Less than three years later, Harper suffered a "widowmaker" heart attack due to an undiagnosed genetic issue. The ordeal left him clinically dead. "It was one of the hardest things I've ever gone through. I was dead on the gym floor for nine minutes," he recalled in the documentary. In the documentary, Harper claimed Michaels seemed to have ghosted him and their friendship. "How do I put this? People were always like 'You and Jillian have been so close', and I was like, 'Well, we were really close on television,'" he said. "After I had my heart attack, she's the one person I never heard from. So, I mean, that to me spoke volumes." "We weren't besties, but we were partners on a television show for a very long time," he told The Guardian. "I would not expect Jillian Michaels to do anything other than what she wants to do," he added. Responding to Harper's claims that she never reached out to him, Michaels shared an alleged screenshot of a text message she sent him in 2014. "And, the last image is my second to last text ever to Bob Harper. Take from it what you will," she wrote, alongside a screenshot of the alleged text. "I really think it's s---ty of you to not even respond to my texts. It's this kind of thing that always makes me so disappointed my our [SIC] relationship," the text message read. Shortly after Harper's heart attack, Michaels opened up to E! about what she believed to have been contributing factors and alluded to having lost touch. "Knowing a little bit about Bob, I know that he does have a family history of it. I was there when he lost his mother to a heart attack — with him the night that she died. So there is a family history. "I do also think that, you know, you're in the middle of a CrossFit workout and you're eating Paleo, it's not going to help…Personally, I'm not pro-Paleo. Everyone can just go crazy on me." "It's not a great combination with poor genetics," she told us of his diet and CrossFit routine. "Not that he has poor genetics, but if you have heart disease in your family…" she trailed off. Representatives for Harper and Michaels did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.
