'It's the right thing to do, isn't it? To tell someone and, you know, given your history,' Edebiri asks Roberts at one point in the trailer. 'What does that mean, my history?' Roberts responds with what becomes a key point in the feature from Imagine Entertainment as her own past threatens to be revealed.
At first Gibson accuses Price of plagiarism. But at another point in the teaser, an increasingly desperate Gibson tells Olsson 'you know the truth, and you won't say it, because it'll make you look bad.' The trailer ends with Edebiri telling Roberts, 'I don't feel comfortable having this conversation with you anymore.'
And Roberts responds with a tagline for the movie: 'Not everything is supposed to make you feel comfortable.' Michael Stuhlbarg and Chloë Sevigny round out the cast for After The Hunt, which Guadagnino directed from a script by Nora Garrett.
The producer credits are shared by Guadagnino, Brian Grazer, Jeb Brody and Allan Mandelbaum, with Karen Lunder, Justin Wilkes, Alice Dawson and Garrett executive producing.
After the Hunt reunites Guadagnino with Amazon MGM Studios, which released his Zendaya-led film Challengers last year. His other features as director include Call Me by Your Name (2017), Suspiria (2018), Bones and All (2022) and Queer (2024).

Listen Up The Last Of Us Fans – There's Good News And Bad News About Season 3
Warning: This article contains major spoilers for season two of The Last Of Us. It's been nearly two months since that rollercoaster of a season two finale, and yet The Last Of Us is still playing with our emotions. The post-apocalyptic drama starring Bella Ramsey, Pedro Pascal and Kaitlyn Dever ended on a huge cliffhanger when the seventh and final episode of the second season aired back in May, and now it turns out we might be looking at quite a long wait until season three. In a recent interview with Variety, HBO content CEO Casey Bloys shed some light on the timeline for the next season. 'The series is definitely planned for 2027,' he explained, suggesting the same wait time (and maybe even longer) that we had between the first two seasons. However, the good news is that there's a possibility of co-creator and showrunner Craig Mazin extending the Emmy-winning show beyond three seasons. 'Craig is still working it out whether it will be two more seasons or one more long season. It hasn't been decided yet, and I'm following Craig's lead on that.' Season two focused on Ellie's quest for revenge after Joel's brutal murder by Abby, with fans expecting season three to focus on Abby's perspective of the same events, as depicted in the video game it's based on. After we only saw Pedro's character appear in season two mostly via flashbacks, the HBO exec addressed whether potentially now seeing less of Bella in the next instalment could be a challenge. 'Not from a marketing perspective, because I think the title is obviously helped by the video game, and now the first two seasons is pretty well established,' he explained. 'I kind of appreciate shows that take things and do a show from a different point of view.' The update comes following the news of a huge creative change behind the scenes, as co-creator Neil Druckmann announced he would be stepping back as co-showrunner. Executive producer and writer Halley Gross – who co-wrote The Last Of Us Part II video game and worked on several episodes of season two – also announced that she would be departing from her 'day-to-day' duties on the show 'to make space for what comes next'. The HBO content boss addressed Neil's departure in the new interview, explaining that, while it was 'fantastic to have Neil involved', people often 'don't realise that Neil has a full time job creating video games and running Naughty Dog'. He added that the game creator had 'given us a good blueprint with the show' and that 'obviously Craig is a pro, so I think we'll be in excellent shape. I'm not worried at all'. The Last Of Us is set in a post-apocalyptic world that has been ravaged by a fungus which turns humans into a zombie-like infected species. The latest series is among the frontrunners in the Emmy nominations with 16 nods this year. Related... Christie Brinkley details devastating moment that ‘nearly broke' her: ‘Something was very wrong'
When Christie Brinkley found out that her husband was having an affair, it 'nearly broke her.' The veteran Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model is on the cover of Social Life Magazine in celebration of her memoir, 'Uptown Girl,' which came out earlier this year. The 71-year-old spoke to the outlet about what it was like sharing her story, both the highs and lows. 'There were parts where I thought, 'Please don't cry,'' said Brinkley when it came to reading her story out loud for the audiobook. 'I tried to keep [my voice] level, but [the publisher] let me be. Let my voice crack. Let it show.' One of the moments Brinkley described in the book was discovering how her fourth husband, architect Peter Cook, was unfaithful after eight years of marriage. According to the outlet, Brinkley was at a graduation ceremony in 2006 to give a commencement speech. She described how a man approached her with a revelation that had the 'weight of a wrecking ball, delivered in barely a whisper.' 'I asked him to repeat it,' she recalled before turning to look at Cook. 'And then I looked at Jack,' she said about her son. 'Jack's face was frozen in panic. He felt it instantly. He knew something was very wrong.' 4 Christie Brinkley at the Sports Illustrated Swim Issue Launch Party held at the Hard Rock Hotel on May 16, 2024 in New York, New York. WWD via Getty Images According to Brinkley, she looked out into the crowd. She saw 'mouths agape,' reminding her of 'The Scream' oil painting. 'They all knew,' the outlet shared. 'Maybe some judged. Maybe some didn't. But in that suspended moment, she felt faint, exposed… like the floor might drop beneath her.' Brinkley said she asked the man if he had a card. 4 Alexa Ray Joel and Brinkley attend the SASF Sweet 16th Unconditional Love Gala on July 19, 2025 in Bridgehampton, New York. Getty Images 'No,' he said. 'But I'm a cop at the Southampton station.' After the ceremony, Jack rushed over to his mother and asked what was wrong. She told him, 'Mommy needs to go to the police station.' There, she would get more information about how her marriage was unraveling. Brinkley told the outlet that she didn't know what readers would expect from her book. 'I had thought this book might sit on shelves,' she admitted. 'I worried it would embarrass my kids. But people bought it. They loved it. I cried.' In her book, Brinkley describes how the police officer who made the revelation was the father of the 18-year-old Cook was involved with. 4 Brinkley was married to her fourth husband, Peter Cook, from 1996 to 2008. Djamilla Rosa Cochran 'I know from Peter's face that he was guilty,' Brinkley wrote. 'When your whole world falls apart, and you realize in a heartbeat you've suddenly become the cliché middle-aged woman whose husband is having an affair with a much (much) younger woman, what do you do?' That night, Cook was out of the house. And friends urged Brinkley to search the family computer. They even came over to help, an operation Brinkley said looked like something out of 'Charlie's Angels.' There, she found a 'creepy labyrinth of files and photos I never knew existed.' 'I was good at guessing passwords, and soon enough, a panoply of frightening email exchanges, incriminating photos, and porn accounts populated the screen like fireworks,' Brinkley wrote. 'It was so insane that it was almost funny, and soon enough, the three of us were doubled over in laughter, as printouts of girls in X-rated poses began piling up on the floor faster than trash outside a greasy takeaway.' 4 The veteran Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model is on the cover of Social Life Magazine in celebration of her memoir, 'Uptown Girl,' which came out earlier this year. Getty Images Brinkley and Cook's split resulted in a six-year court battle. Social Life Magazine reported that the divorce trial was 'tabloid catnip and a full-blown media spectacle.' It was also 'a mother fighting to protect her cubs.' Today, Brinkley told the outlet she finds solace tending to her garden, just like another famous blonde. 'I admire Pamela [Anderson],' Brinkley told Social Life about the 'Baywatch' icon. 'I think we were both misread. Different myths were built around each of us, and now we've found the freedom to say what was always ours. We're not salon blondes. We're hands-in-the-dirt women. We bloom in the garden.' Brinkley previously told Fox News Digital she dares to love again. 'I find that love is the strongest thing in the whole world, and we are surrounded by love,' she said. 'There are so many kinds of love and love for our friends, love for our families, love for nature and love for people that protect nature. I love love – I feel like my life is so full of love.' 'I think if there's a romantic love that comes along, it would be wonderful,' she shared. 'But I also feel very content and happy with the life that I have right now. I consider my life to be very full of love.'

‘The Gilded Age': Jack Sells the Alarm Clock For $600,000, But How Much Is That Worth Today In 2025 Dollars?
If you watch The Gilded Age, then you're probably deeply invested in the journey of footman Jack Trotter (Ben Ahlers). First introduced as just a loyal servant in the Van Rhijn house all the way back in Season 1, he's since distinguished himself as an ambitious inventor. In The Gilded Age Season 2, Jack took it upon himself to design a better, more accurate alarm clock that wouldn't need grease for its gears. Buoyed by donations from his fellow staff and employers, he applied for a patent. In this season of the HBO show, however, Jack has partnered with Larry Russell (Harry Richardson) to sell the clock. **Spoilers for Season 3 Episode 4 'Marriage is a Gamble,' now streaming on HBO MAX** Jack finally sells his alarm clock in The Gilded Age Season 3 Episode 4 'Marriage is a Gamble.' Not only that, but he and Larry manage to sell the clock and its patent for a whopping $600,000. Okay, based on Jack's dumbstruck reaction, we're guessing that sum was worth way more than it is today. Apparently, even if the young men split the sale both ways, they're both sitting pretty with $300k in 1880s money. But how much did Jack sell the clock for in today's money? What's the conversion rate for 1883 dollar to 2025? How much was $300,000 even worth in The Gilded Age? Here's everything you need to know about how much Jack Trotter sold the alarm clock for… The Gilded Age: How Much Does Jack Sell the Alarm Clock for? How Much is $600,000 in the 1880s Worth in Today's Dollars? Trying to figure out just how rich Jack the footman is now? Wondering what $600k or $300k translates to in today's dollars? The Bureau of Labor Statistics states that the dollar is worth 31.83 times what it was in 1883. Which means you should theoretically be able to just multiply 300,000 by 31.83 to figure out how much money Mr. Trotter is actually taking home to the servants' quarters. According to our calculations, Jack made approximately $9,549,000 in just one day by selling the patent to his alarm clock. However, for the sake of argument, let's round that up to $10 million. (Also, let's be real: money spread further in the 1800s!) So the whole kit and caboodle sold somewhere close to $20 million. So while Jack might not technically be a millionaire in the Gilded Age sense of the word, he would be a millionaire in today's market. He also does not have to keep his day job. If you were at any point worried — like my own mother was! — that Larry was planning to cheat poor Jack out of his share of the money, rest assured that the younger Mr. Russell only ever had the best intentions. When DECIDER asked Gilded Age star Harry Richardson what Larry's happier about, making the business deal for himself or for Jack, he said, 'I think it's both.' 'I think that's why I really love the way that it's been written,' Richardson said. 'He says, 'When I'm finished with you, you'll have your own footman.' He's really excited about the expansion of this young man's life as well as his own. ' Okay, but how is Aunt Agnes (Christine Baranski) and the rest of the Van Rhijn/Brook household going to handle the news that their favorite footman is now potentially wealthier than they are? The Gilded Age returns on Sunday, July 20 at 9 PM ET on HBO and HBO MAX. Solve the daily Crossword
