Abercrombie has tons of shorts and swimwear marked down by 30% before summer

CNN08-05-2025
Abercrombie & Fitch has been outfitting many of us since the 90s and the early 2000s. Its classic Americana pullovers, logo tees and denim have combined relaxed, everyday silhouettes with a preppy aesthetic. In more recent years, the company has been stepping up its game with inclusive sizing and modern pieces. Now in time for summer, the brand is hosting a sale of 30% off shorts and swimwear and up to 20% off (almost) everything else through May 12. With code SHORTSAF, you can stack and save an additional 15% on top of the existing discounts.
Abercrombie & Fitch Curve Love High Rise Loose Shorts
Loose shorts are effortlessly chic. Some of our editors love pairing them with a classic white tee and sandals during the summer for an off-duty model look. This stud-lined pair fits curvier bodies and prevents chafing with its six inches of length.
Abercrombie & Fitch Marina One-Piece Swimsuit
This chocolate-colored one-piece will be the only swimsuit you'll need ahead of Euro summer travels. It has a flattering straight neckline to support busts and a flattering high-leg cut with white fabric trim.
Abercrombie & Fitch Mid Rise Jorts
Shorts seem to be getting longer as of late, and these jorts stood out due to their wide array of washes and hems. The Dark Rinse and Medium washes both come with a cord tie waist similar to other higher-end denim pieces on the market.
Abercrombie & Fitch Tie-Front Shirt Dress Coverup
Stay covered and cool in this on-trend A-line hemmed dress. It comes in a deep brown or crisp white and looks perfect atop a bikini at the beach.
Abercrombie & Fitch High Rise Mom Shorts
For a pair of shorts that are not too long or too short, consider this five-inch silhouette. Both washes have a clean hem at the leg, and the darker version has an adorable embroidered cherry on the back pocket.
Abercrombie & Fitch Halter String Triangle Bikini Top
A simple triangle is one of the most popular bikini styles ever. This teeny top comes in 14 on-trend colors and patterns that will look great at festivals with denim shorts.Abercrombie & Fitch Retro Mesh Shorts
These breezy mesh shorts will be your new BFF this summer. The pockets are deep enough to hold a pair of earbuds, a phone and a wallet, and the drawcord provides extra security if you decide to wear them for a workout.
Abercrombie & Fitch Pull-On Jacquard Swim Trunks
While these swim trunks might look plain initially, they have a subtle yet detailed print that puts them a step above solid fabrics. They fit true to size and hit just above the knee with a five-inch length.
Abercrombie & Fitch Baggy Denim Shorts
Similar to the women's jorts above, the baggy men's version will elevate simple outfits upon wearing. They look great with Birkenstocks and a tee if you're going for a more relaxed vibe this spring.
Abercrombie & Fitch Pull-On Seersucker Swim Trunks
Seersucker never gets old. It's the type of fabric that you want to wear in hot weather due to its cooling properties, and now A&F has crafted its pull-on swim trunks with just that and in tons of pastel colors.
Abercrombie & Fitch Linen-Blend Plainfront Shorts
Don't let the button deceive you. These shorts come with a stretchy waistband for added comfort and the ability to go sans belt. They come in three neutral colors and are crafted from a breezy linen blend.
Abercrombie & Fitch Logo Sandals
Sometimes a pair of flip flops is the way to go, especially if you're an avid beach or pool goer. We love the leather finish on this best-selling pair and its flat, wide straps that help prevent irritation. This is the only item on the list that doesn't stack with the discount code, but you can still get them for a sweet $18 off. To score discounts on shorts and swimwear, you usually have to shop during the off-season. We're surprised to see Abercrombie & Fitch marking down new arrivals by 30% on products like shorts and bathing suits that are currently in season. With this event, you should be able to snag something to wear for beach days and upcoming Memorial Day barbecues.

A good life, protein and stress: The week in Well+Being

You're reading our weekly Well+Being newsletter. Sign up here to get it delivered to your inbox every Thursday. Is there really a path to a good life, and if so how do we achieve it? You might be surprised to know that scientists have been studying this for decades. The evidence suggests that happiness and meaningfulness are two things that can factor into feeling like you are on the right path. However, this week our brain health writer, Richard Sima, looked into a third route that's getting attention: psychological richness. Think of the folks who climb a mountain simply 'because it's there.' This path isn't necessarily easy, but it does lead to experiences that make you look back and say, 'What a journey!' If you're like me, you probably want a mix of all three in your life, and it's okay to wonder if you are striking the right balance. In fact, you might take this as a sign to finally book that trip. However, if you want to bring psychological richness to your life, it doesn't have to be expensive or require a journey to Mount Everest — read more below to find out what qualifies.

Exciting News Involving Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce Emerges on Monday

While much of the attention on Kansas City Chiefs superstars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce has been focused on the upcoming NFL season, the duo has some exciting off-field news. Back in March 2024, Mahomes and Kelce teamed up for a business venture in Kansas City, opening a steakhouse called '1587 Prime', named after their jersey numbers. After a year of development and bringing the concept to life inside the Loews Kansas City Hotel, the restaurant finally has an official opening date. On Monday, the news was revealed via a video showing Kelce and Mahomes taste-testing the menu ahead of the grand opening on Sept. 17. Check it out: The restaurant is set to be a modern American steakhouse, featuring live music, two floors, a two-story entrance designed to resemble the tunnel of an NFL stadium, a 20-seat central bar, and private dining rooms. Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes have spent their entire NFL careers with the Chiefs and have consistently given joy back to the community through their on-and off-field successes. Mahomes discussed the idea behind the steakhouse he and Kelce are opening in Kansas City, emphasizing that it's meant to be a place that brings everyone together. "We don't want to make it too upscale, too high-priced so that not everybody can go," Mahomes said during an interview with Fox4KC. "We want it to be a place where Kansas City can call it home, and where everyone can come and really enjoy it." He added, "We always see these restaurants and we have a love for bringing people together. I think the biggest thing for us is we're gonna do whatever we can to keep bringing people together, and what better place than Kansas City? Hopefully we can win some games at Arrowhead Stadium and then go over and have a few drinks and some food with it."This story was originally reported by Athlon Sports on Aug 18, 2025, where it first appeared in the NFL section. LeBron James' New Addiction Gets Noticed on Monday

LeBron James enters the 2025-26 NBA season (his 23rd) as a 21-time All-Star, four-time NBA champion, four-time league MVP and the NBA's all-time leading scorer. Last year, he averaged 24.4 points, 8.2 assists and 7.8 rebounds per game for the Los Angeles Lakers, who suffered a first-round exit in the playoffs. While still producing at an elite level, James' future has been a subject of speculation. He exercised his player option to remain with the Lakers, but offseason reports have hinted at underlying tension as the franchise pivots toward newly acquired star Luka Doncic. For now, however, James remains committed to Los Angeles — and to his new hobby. On Monday, Kevin Love, James' former teammate and good friend, posted a mix of personal snapshots and familiar faces on Instagram — but one short video drew the most attention. In it, James is seen teeing up on a golf course, taking another swing that has quickly become a recurring talking point among fans. Fans were quick to make their voices heard on James' golf swing. "Bron's swing is an absolute thing of beauty," said one user. "LBJ gotta chill 😂," another fan replied. "LeBron's swing is the worst thing I've seen," one other user remarked. "You have the best posts!" commented another fan. "Lebron addicted to golf is real 😂," said one other user. "You both look great @katelove absolutely gorgeous 🙌🏼@kevinlove you really need to talk with @kingjames about his ⛳️ swing 😂🤦🏼‍♀️," another fan replied. LeBron James Golf Debut and Viral Swing James' golf journey became public on July 4, when he posted a video that showed him hitting shots, his unrefined swing drawing comparisons to Charles Barkley's famously awkward form. The golf world immediately took notice. Former PGA Tour winner Jordan Spieth offered swing tips, while Stephen Curry playfully impersonated James' follow-through at the American Century Championship, turning the clips into a light offseason storyline. Since then, James has posted multiple clips, including one in the Dominican Republic where he played through heavy rain and formally admitted to being "addicted" to the game. James' newfound love for golf mirrors a path taken by other NBA greats, such as Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and Curry, who have turned to the sport as both a competitive outlet and a lifestyle pursuit. James, now entering the twilight of his playing career, seems serious about pursuing this new challenge.
