We've heard about who was playing just about everyone in the "Harry Potter" reboot - including most of the Hogwarts faculty and at least one of the show's villains - but it's been a mystery who would be committing to playing the iconic trio of Hogwarts heroes: Harry, Hermione, and Ron.
We finally have the names for the young wizards. Dominic McLaughlin is playing Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton has been cast as Hermione Granger, and Alastair Stout takes on the role of Ron Weasley. All three are newcomers to the world of professional screen acting.

In an official press statement, "Harry Potter" showrunner Francesca Gardiner and executive producer Mark Mylod said, "After an extraordinary search led by casting directors Lucy Bevan and Emily Brockmann, we are delighted to announce we have found our Harry, Hermione, and Ron.
The talent of these three unique actors is wonderful to behold, and we cannot wait for the world to witness their magic together onscreen. We would like to thank all the tens of thousands of children who auditioned. It's been a real pleasure to discover the plethora of young talent out there."

According to Deadline, the three young actors' castings are the end result of over 32,000 auditions.
McLaughlin, Stanton, and Stout will be playing their respective roles for around a decade on the "Harry Potter" reboot series, just as their predecessors did in the films. The iconic characters were previously played by Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint.
The young actors join a long list of stars announced for the upcoming reboot series, including Luke Thallon as Professor Quirinus Quirrell, Paul Whitehouse as Argus Filch, John Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore, Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall, Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape, and Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid.
Perhaps the biggest question mark that remains about the "Harry Potter" reboot series is the casting of the real Big Bad, Voldemort. He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named remains, fittingly, completely unnamed at this point. However, Cillian Murphy is rumored to be in strong contention for the role, and former Voldemort actor Ralph Fiennes has even given his support to the idea.

And I feel like Robert gives that same energy." Calling Irwin "very family-oriented" and "humble," Karagach, 32, says he's "just a good guy," which is why he reminded her of Nedoroscik, 26. "I think people are going to fall in love with him," she says of Irwin, who she predicts will make it to the championships this season. "He's going to do [well]. I mean, I'm sure he's going to be in the finals," she says. What gives her such faith in the conservationist? "I just feel like personality and popularity plays such a big part, so even if you're not the best dancer, I feel like if you're popular enough and people support you, you'll go really far," she says. Robert is following in his older sister Bindi's footsteps six years later as he joins this season of DWTS. Bindi competed with Derek Hough in 2015 and took home the mirrorball trophy, but Robert told PEOPLE there's "no sibling rivalry" between them. "It's actually really nice. She has just said, 'Go into this and make it your own.' She said it's going to be a completely different experience." "I'm definitely going to be leaning on her a lot, as I have throughout my entire life, to be honest,' he said. 'I think loss brings a family together like nothing else, and for us, for Bindi and myself, we've always had each other's backs through everything, and this is going to be no different. I feel very lucky that I've got her in my corner.' He also recalled cheering his older sister on in the ballroom as a "little 11-year-old kid with my little blonde bowl cut" when she competed a decade ago. 'Now Bindi is going to be there supporting me, and she'll have a lot more dance wisdom than 11-year-old Robert," he said. "I didn't have much to bring to the table, but she does. She's done it. The 'Love the Way You Lie' rapper's publishing company Eight Mile Style filed a lawsuit against Meta Platforms—which owns Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp—accusing the tech company of copyright infringement and seeking over $109 million in damages, according to court documents filed May 30 and obtained by E! News June 3. In the filing, Eminem (real name Marshall Mathers) alleges that Meta violated the copyright of 243 songs from his catalog through the 'unauthorized storage, reproduction and exploitation' of the tracks on their platforms. The lawsuit cites the apps' features, including Original Audio and Reels, as tools that 'allow and encourage its users to steal' his music to use in video content 'without proper attribution or license.' As a result, the Grammy winner is seeking monetary damages for 'the diminished value of the copyrights by Defendants' theft of them, lost profits, and Defendants' profits attributable to the infringement.' Alternatively, he asked for the maximum statutory damages, requesting $150,000 for each of the songs in question across all three of Meta's platforms, totaling a whopping $109,350,000.
