The sixth movie in the Karate Kid franchise, "Karate Kid: Legends," has officially hit theaters. And even though critics don't seem to be too fond of the film, fans of the series and general audiences seem to be loving it.
"Karate Kid: Legends" brings back to beloved characters to the cinema: Jackie Chan as Mr. Han and Ralph Macchio as Daniel LaRusso. Additionally, the film stars Ben Wang as Li Fong, their new student.
While Chan hasn't been seen in the series since the last film was in theaters back in 2010, Macchio has been a regular fixture of the wildly popular "Cobra Kai" series on Netflix, which just released its sixth and final season.

How is 'Cobra Kai' Connected to 'Karate Kid: Legends'?
"Karate Kid: Legends" is focused on continuing the story and legacy from the previous Karate Kid films. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to fully include "Cobra Kai."
"There are many, many seasons of 'Cobra Kai.' This is not a 'Cobra Kai' movie. It's within the Karate Kid universe," director Jonathan Entwistle said, per Jake Hodges and Perri Nemiroff of Collider. "It's another chapter in the story. It's another graphic novel in the sequence."
This doesn't mean that "Cobra Kai" fans have been cut out completely. In a post-credits sequence, William Zabka as Johnny Lawrence shows up to hang out with Daniel after he receives a heartwarming letter from Li. However, that's all fans of the Netflix series will be getting.
Do You Need to Watch 'Cobra Kai' Before 'Karate Kid: Legends'?
Based on this information, it doesn't feel like watching "Cobra Kai" is at all necessary to enjoy "Karate Kid: Legends." Instead, fans of the franchise should turn their heads to the original movies starring Macchio and Pat Morita, as well as "The Karate Kid" from 2010 starring Chan and Jaden Smith.

Still, it is absolutely worth watching all six seasons of "Cobra Kai" just because it is wildly entertaining television with exciting martial arts action and plenty of drama.
Additionally, if you want to see everything in the Karate Kid universe, "The Next Karate Kid" is also a fun watch with Morita reprising his role as Mr. Miyagi and a young Hilary Swank playing Julie Pierce, his new student.

The dating programme - which saw eight former couples who had split due to infidelity attempt to work out their differences at a luxury retreat in Mallorca - will not be returning for a second series, despite being one of Netflix's most streamed shows. While the news will come as a disappointment to Amanda Holden - who fronted the show along with dating expert Paul C. Brunson - the Britain's Got Talent judge is said to have various other projects in the pipeline with the streaming service. A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "Despite Cheat being popular with audiences Netflix has decided to pursue new show formats. "Bosses love Amanda and are in talks with her on three different show ideas, so it's likely fans will see a lot more of her on the platform in the future." And the 54-year-old star is very busy with other projects. The insider added: "Amanda is still very much one of the hardest working women in showbiz and is booked and busy for the foreseeable future. "On top of hosting the UK's biggest radio show Heart Breakfast every weekday, it recently overtook Radio 2, BGT auditions commence in October. "Plus, Amanda is currently filming Series 4 of Alan and Amanda in Greece while her brand-new prime-time quiz show ,The Inner Circle, launches on BBC1 in October." 6 Shows You'd Probably Forgotten Love Is Blind UK Host Emma Willis Once Fronted
Emma Willis has now been a staple on British TV for more than 20 years. The Birmingham-born presenter was previously best known for hosting shows like Big Brother, The Voice and The Circle – until she and her husband Matt Willis began fronting Netflix's UK iteration of Love Is Blind, that is. While you've probably watched her on some of the UK's biggest reality shows over the years (not to mention This Morning, where she's become a regular face), there are plenty of other presenting gigs throughout her extensive resume you might have completely forgotten about. Here are the ones we dug through the archives to find, in honour of Love Is Blind UK's second season... The Hot Desk (2008-2014) Emma got her start on music TV in the early 2000s, presenting segments for MTV as well as the UK version of the iconic TRL. In, Emma joined another British music show called The Hot Desk, whose other hosts included the likes of All Saints' Nicole Appleton and Melanie Blatt, Laura Whitmore, Sarah Jane Crawford and Alice Levine. At the end of each interview, they'd asked the featured celebrity to sign the 'Hot Desk' with a pen (isn't that just oh-so 2010s?). Back in 2017 she took to the stage for the UK's biggest night in music alongside co-host Dermot O'Leary. Dermot and Emma were brought in as somewhat last-minute replacements when the night's original host, Michael Bublé, was forced to back out due to his son's illness. That year's Brits saw One Direction, Little Mix, The 1975 and more take home awards. Emma Willis: Delivering Babies (2019) This one marked a huge change for the presenter as she swapped reality TV and game shows for a hospital maternity unit. Across the course of four seasons, she worked on a labour ward working NHS hours while training to be a maternity care assistant. Whether she was making beds, cleaning floors or offering support during births, it made for pretty emotional viewing.
