The Japanese forward started in the Championship opener against Ipswich on Friday evening.
Kyogo - who left Celtic to join Rennes for a short spell before returning to the UK - looked to have fired his new club into an early lead.

With just eight minutes on the clock, Kyogo nudged his marker off the ball and then sent a classy lobbed finish into the net.
However, his celebrations were cut short after he was adjudged to have fouled Jacob Greaves before applying the finishing touch.
Kyogo had made contact with the Ipswich defender as he looked to clear the ball, with the officials deeming it a foul.

Despite the disallowed goal, Birmingham would go on to take the league in the Championship contest.
Jay Stansfield opened the scoring in the 55th minute for the newly promoted club, who have been tipped for a big season back in the Championship.
However, they would be denied a victory in their first match of the campaign as Scotland striker George Hirst levelled for Ipswich deep into stoppage time.

Celtic hero Sutton mocks Rangers fans for 'walking away'

Fans started leaving Ibrox just 20 minutes into the first leg of the Champions League play-off. The Belgian team took an early 3-0 lead, thanks to goals from Romeo Vermant, Jorne Spileers, and Brandon Mechele. Amazon Prime cameras caught some fans exiting the stadium, clearly unimpressed by Russell Martin's side. Celtic favourite Sutton couldn't resist a jibe, writing on X: "I thought Rangers fans don't do walking away… 20 minutes in and many have given up already…" With the return leg in Brugge next week, Rangers' hopes of a £40 million windfall and a place in the Champions League league phase appear slim. Rangers will need a remarkable comeback to keep their European dream alive.

Brother of Irish boxer who died after Ulster Hall bout running half marathon to give others a ‘second chance at life'

Galway man says race will honour sibling and boost organ donation The brother of an Irish boxer who tragically died after an Ulster Hall bout is preparing to run a half marathon to help give others 'a second chance at life'. John Cooney, from Co Galway, suffered an intracranial haemorrhage on February 1 after losing his Celtic super-featherweight title defence in a technical knock-out (TKO). The 28-year-old was rushed to hospital and underwent emergency surgery following the fight, but later passed away from his injuries. Now his heartbroken sibling Aaron Cooney is raising funds by taking part in the Belfast Half Marathon next month with all proceeds going towards the Strange Boat Donor Foundation. Aaron reminisced on the 'close' relationship the pair had and how they worked in the same barber shop for many years. 'He was one of the kindest people you could ever meet,' he said. 'And he always did the extra little bit to keep everybody happy — no matter what was going on, he always pushed forward in whatever he was doing. 'Nothing ever really stopped him. He was very, very motivated and determined to achieve what his goal was his whole life.' The 22-year-old chose the Strange Boat Donor Foundation after the Cooney family were able to donate John's organs Aaron hopes to help further support the cause and prevent other families from experiencing grief and heartache. 'Running a marathon was always one of my brother's biggest goals in life,' he explained. 'But obviously with being a professional boxer, you don't really have that kind of time to take out to go run in a marathon — you're training for fights all the time. 'So when he passed away, I knew I wanted to do something big. My brother was able to donate five of his organs when he passed away. 'And obviously when you're actually face to face with that kind of thing, you really do realize how amazing of an ability it is to be able to give somebody a second chance at life.' Aaron's charity of choice is located in Salthill — one of his brother's 'favourite places in Galway' and his preferred spot for runs and sea swims. 'I picked that charity because they created a park for families that had lost people who had been able to donate their organs. It's just a very nice, peaceful area,' Aaron added. The upcoming 13-mile race will be the first long distance run Aaron has taken on. He has been training for over six months and will be joined by four friends on the big day. Several family members plan to be in Belfast to cheer Aaron on and he is confident 'we'll get a lot of people behind us.' 'Anything for charity always brings out kind of the best in people and we saw that when my brother was in hospital,' he said. 'We had so many people donating towards his GoFundMe. 'So I think a lot of people will be really getting behind us. And obviously they understand the motivation behind it for me and my friends that were also quite close to him as well.'

Dunfermline Athletic celebrate international double as John Tod handed Scotland call-up

Dunfermline are celebrating a double after John Tod was handed his first-ever international call-up. The highly-rated 18-year-old has been rewarded for a stunning start to the season with inclusion in the Scotland U/19s squad for the Slovenia Nations Cup next month. The young Scots will face hosts Slovenia, Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates over a seven-day spell from September 3. The matches are preparation for the qualifiers for next summer's European Championships, with Scotland in a group with England, Lithuania and Latvia. Tod only made his full Pars debut in the Premier Sports Cup clash with Hearts at Tynecastle last month. And his impressive performances have made him an ever-present in Neil Lennon's starting XI so far this term. His maiden senior goal, in the 2-0 victory over Airdrie in the Fifers' last game, was a stunner. It led Lennon to say: 'He's been a real bonus for us, a real find. Left-sided centre-halves are hard to find in the game and I think I've got a good one here.' However, his run in the Dunfermline line-up will be brought to an end by his international duty. The tournament coincides with the Pars hosting Ayr United on September 6 and Tod will now miss that Championship encounter. Meanwhile, fellow Dunfermline teenager Lucas Fyfe has also been called up by Scotland. The 16-year-old has been involved at first-team level under Lennon so far this season and started the Premier Sports Cup win over Dumbarton before a substitute's appearance against Airdrie. The promising attacker has been included in the Scotland U/17s squad for a training camp this week.
