Chugg Entertainment and Frontier Touring are delighted to welcome back country music powerhouse Lainey Wilson as she brings her WHIRLWIND WORLD TOUR down under in February 2026,which also sees the Grammy-award winner make her long-awaited New Zealand debut.
Wilson will also be headlining Howlin' Country Festival in Newcastle. She'll first head to New Zealand, kicking off the tour with shows in Auckland and Christchurch, before making her anticipated return to Australia for shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
Frontier Members can access the presale for the WHIRLWIND WORLD TOUR from 12pm local time, Tuesday 12th August, before tickets go on sale from 1pm local time on Friday 15th August. Tickets and tour information via frontiertouring.com/laineywilson
Last in Australia in 2024, Wilson blew fans away in her debut visit, with a headline performance to remember at CMC Rocks QLD, along with two show-stopping, sold-out nights in both Sydney and Melbourne.
'Wilson's voice is like your favourite pair of faded blue jeans—chic, timeless, and effortlessly cool' – CountryTown
Now returning in 2026, Lainey Wilson will celebrate the release of her forthcoming Whirlwind (Deluxe) with live performances for fans in Australia and New Zealand for the very first time. Taking the album around the globe, Wilson kicked off the first leg of the WHIRLWIND WORLD TOUR in March, performing sold-out dates across Europe. The singer then takes on a vast, sold out North America leg later this month, before reaching Australia and New Zealand next February, with her biggest headline shows in the market to date.
The deluxe edition of the critically acclaimed Whirlwind is set for release on 22nd August (pre-order via laineywilson.bandtshirts.com.au), timed to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the original. 'Whirlwind (Deluxe)' expands on the powerful 14-track collection with five brand-new songs, including the poetic 'Somewhere Over Laredo' and the fan-favourite, high-energy anthem 'Bell Bottoms Up.' These new additions further showcase Wilson's signature blend of rich storytelling, authenticity, and trailblazing country flair.
'To listen to Whirlwind is to hear an artist who has come into herself… delivering songs that are sassy, clever, occasionally emotional and thoroughly country' – Billboard
'Wilson has become the reigning current standard-bearer for women in country' – Variety
'her music has a blend of brawn, heart, and willingness to upend the status quo that's not only listenable, but also the kind of thing you can't help but root for' – Rolling Stone
Cementing herself as one of music's most exciting talents, Lainey Wilson continues to define a new generation of modern country artists and inspire fans across the world. In 2024, she took home her first GRAMMY® award for Best Country Album, adding to her growing list of accolades, including multiple #1 Billboard singles and a platinum selling catalogue. In 2023, she made history as the first woman in over a decade to win CMA's Entertainer of the Year. Named Apple Music's Global Artist of the Year, Wilson is an unstoppable force, rewriting the playbook for female artists in the genre.
For the past decade, Flatland Cavalry has built a reputation as 'one of the most dynamic presences in country music' (Rolling Stone) thank to their signature 'Easy on the ears, heavy on the heart' sound. Celebrating 10 years together in 2024, the band marked a huge year of milestones, earning their first ACM Award nomination for Group of the Year, receiving their first RIAA Gold certification for breakout single 'A Life Where We Work Out,' and landing features on the blockbuster soundtracks of Twisters and The Hunger Games. With six #1 singles on Texas Country Radio, more than 500 million streams and having shared the stage with Willie Nelson, Luke Combs and Jordan Davis, Flatland Cavalry delivers a brand of storytelling and musicianship that resonates far beyond their roots.
A truly one-of-a-kind artist, Kaitlin Butts has a deep affinity for country music's more theatrical side: the extravagant storytelling, dazzling showmanship, songs infused with both unbridled emotion and quick-fire humor. The 2024 Americana Awards New Emerging Act nominee discovered her passion for performing as a little girl, with the Tulsa, Oklahoma native later bringing her boundless energy and radiant voice to her own unapologetic yet soulful songwriting.
Her new album, Roadrunner!, opens up a new chapter for the singer/songwriter and marks a major tonal shift from Butts' 2022 sophomore LP what else can she do, a character-driven exploration of complex topics like addiction, domestic violence, and generational trauma. Touring with the likes of Dierks Bentley, Lainey Wilson, Turnpike Troubadours and Morgan Wade as well as being named in Opry's Next Stage Class and CMT's Next Women of Country for 2025, Kaitlin Butts is firmly cementing herself as one to watch.
With her fresh, fierce, energy and some traditional country roots, don't miss Lainey Wilson's incredible return to Australia and highly anticipated New Zealand debut, as the global star lands with her WHIRLWIND WORLD TOUR next February, with special guests Flatland Cavalry & Kaitlin Butts.

Press Release – Frontier Touring Company Frontier Touring is thrilled to announce the return of beloved American folk-rockers and 2 x GRAMMY® nominees The Lumineers, bringing their hugely anticipated AUTOMATIC World Tour to Australia and New Zealand in January 2026. Renowned for their soul-stirring live shows and emotive songwriting, The Lumineers will perform in Christchurch, Auckland, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth –their first visit since 2022's sold-out run. Captivating audiences around the globe with their rich instrumentation, raw lyricism and undeniable chemistry, The Lumineers – Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites – will deliver some of the most unforgettable performances this summer. Currently on tour in North America and having already lit up sold-out arenas with rapturously received shows across Europe and the UK, today's news follows the release of the band's acclaimed fifth studio album, AUTOMATIC (out now via Dualtone). A stunning evolution in both sound and sentiment, AUTOMATIC is The Lumineers' first collection of new music in three years. Upon release in February 2025, it debuted at #16 on the Billboard 200 (and #2 on Top Rock Albums, Americana/Folk Albums, and Independent Albums), critics praising the band's ' raw, vulnerable, and emotionally connected ' latest effort (American Songwriter). Fans' first taste came in the form of lead single 'Same Old Song', which reached #1 on Billboard's Adult Alternative Airplay chart – the pair's eighth song to reach the top spot. With billions of global streams and a blistering live reputation that continues to ascend, The Lumineers have carved a singular path. Yet at the heart of it all lies their commitment to honest songwriting – a badge of honour that's seen them collaborate with the likes of P!nk, James Bay, Noah Kahan, and Zach Bryan. Live on stage, they're pure magic: the band's wildly successful 2022 BRIGHTSIDE World Tour taking in 120 cities, 29 countries, six continents, and selling over 1.1 million tickets. Tickets for the AU/NZ dates go on sale Friday 15 August (12pm local time) via Sign up for early access to the Frontier Members Presale, which starts Thursday 14 August (11am local time). After 20 years of musical partnership, The Lumineers are riding high… Don't miss them live on stage this summer! ABOUT THE LUMINEERS: Founded in 2005 by Wesley Schultz (lead vocals, guitar) and Jeremiah Fraites (drums, percussion, piano), The Lumineers have risen to become one of the most successful and influential bands of their generation, blending alternative rock, Americana, and heartfelt storytelling. Over five studio albums, including their 2025 release AUTOMATIC, the band has achieved 24 #1 hits across multiple radio formats, earned over 6 billion streams, sold more than 1.5 million albums in the US, and built a Spotify following of 22 million monthly listeners with a social media reach of 6.5 million. Their accolades include two GRAMMY® nominations, five Billboard Music Awards nods, an American Music Award nomination, and an iHeartRadio MMVA win for their #1 hit 'Stubborn Love'. Known for their electrifying live performances, The Lumineers have sold out arenas, ampitheatres and stadiums across the globe, and headlined festivals like Bonnaroo, Glastonbury, and Fuji Rock. Beyond music, The Lumineers are dedicated to driving social impact, championing environmental sustainability, and supporting causes such as human rights, youth mental health, music education, and hunger relief. Their pandemic-era Colorado Gives Back benefit raised critical funds for live music and service industry workers affected by COVID-19. Now, with AUTOMATIC and The AUTOMATIC World Tour, The Lumineers continue to captivate audiences while building a legacy of creativity, advocacy, and impact.
