#SHOWBIZ: Douglas Lim to restage 'Made In Malaysia', June 12 to 15
KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's King Of Comedy Douglas Lim will be restaging his hit comedy show Made In Malaysia at The Platform, Menara Ken TTDI, Taman Tun Dr Ismail here from June 12 to 15.
Made In Malaysia was earlier staged at Dewan Filharmonik Petronas (DFP) in KLCC, Jalan Ampang late last year, to critical acclaim.
In a statement today, Lim said that he had "great news" for fans, as Made In Malaysia would be back by popular demand.
Lim has been a staple in Malaysian entertainment since his standout role as Steven in the 1990s English sitcom Kopitiam on ntv7 which earned him a Best Actor nomination at the Asian Television Awards.
He has also starred in films such as Hati Malaya, Tanda Putera and Harimau Malaya - The Untold Journey, and musicals such as Cuci, Supermokh and Ola Bola.

Nearly a dozen Malaysian-made games will be shown off in the large-scale online event hosted and produced by Geoff Keighley. Keighley is also the executive producer of The Video Games Award, widely touted as the pinnacle of awards showcases for the industry. The presentation, as part of the Southeast Asian Games showcase, will be featured on June 8. Southeast Asian Games showcase co-founder Samantha Low said that having the national gaming scene up and centre on the world stage was a dream come true. 'I grew up playing a lot of Japanese games such as Final Fantasy VIII, never fathoming that the ability to develop games was right here in my backyard.
