Ready, set, paws!
The Puppy Super Bowl is about to unleash a flurry of fur, fun, and adorable touchdowns as pups from across the country compete in the much cuter — and for some, more entertaining — counterpart to the NFL's biggest annual event.
The 2025 Puppy Bowl will air on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 9. This year, 142 dogs from 80 shelters and rescues across 40 states and two countries will compete for the coveted title.
Among the contestants is Mr. Pickles, a pug-chihuahua mix from Dallas, who was already adopted by Puppy Bowl trainer, dog trainer and author Victoria Schade, according to NBC DFW.
Kickoff in the Puppy Bowl is set for 1 p.m. CT. The event lasts around three hours which will lead right into the pregame events taking place in New Orleans at Super Bowl 59.
Channel: Animal Planet | Discovery | TBS | truTV
Stream: Discovery+ | Max | Fubo
Puppy Bowl 21 will be available on Animal Planet, Discovery, TBS and truTV on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2025. Streamers can watch the action unfold on Discovery+, Max or Fubo, which comes with a free trial.
Not legally, according to ESPN sports betting writer Doug Greenberg. He explained to USA TODAY that since the event is pre-taped and its outcome is already known, betting on it isn't permitted in any legal sports betting market.

With Anthony Castonzo picked, who did Colts select in PFF's 2011 NFL redraft?

With Anthony Castonzo picked, who did Colts select in PFF's 2011 NFL redraft? With Anthony Castonzo off the board, who did the Colts select in PFF's 2011 NFL redraft? With hindsight being 20/20, who did the Indianapolis Colts select in Pro Football Focus' 2011 NFL redraft? With PFF using their grading system as their guide, they redrafted the entire first round. In this draft, following a 10-6 season in 2010 that ended in a loss in the wildcard round of the playoffs, the Colts held the 22nd overall pick and originally selected offensive tackle Anthony Castonzo. In this redraft, Castonzo went at pick 21 to Kansas City before the Colts were on the clock. So Indianapolis instead selected offensive tackle Nate Solder. "While the Colts would've loved the chance to select Castonzo again, they settle for Solder due to their original first-round pick coming off the board one pick earlier," wrote PFF. "Solder tallied an 81.6 career PFF overall grade and was a steady starter at tackle throughout his decade-long career." Solder was originally taken in the first round at 17th overall by New England. He is a two-time Super Bowl champion and played 10 seasons in the NFL, with seven of them coming with the Patriots. Solder appeared in 146 games, which included 143 starts. He was steadily one of PFF's higher graded offensive tackles for several years throughout his playing career. Castonzo, meanwhile, played all 10 of his NFL seasons with the Colts, which included making 144 starts. "Castonzo was very consistent in his 10-year NFL career. He logged 10,368 snaps at left tackle and earned a PFF overall grade of 76.0 or higher in all but two seasons — his first and his last, both between 73.0-74.0," wrote PFF. "He recorded an elite 90.8 PFF pass-blocking grade in 2014, his best season of work."

Buccaneers Offense Trying To Match High Expectations in 2025

Buccaneers Offense Trying To Match High Expectations in 2025 originally appeared on Athlon Sports. It won't be easy for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to match their offensive output from last season. Indeed ... if only because of a 41-touchdown year from Baker Mayfield in 2024, there are numerous reasons why a slight decline in production could be on the way. Advertisement From an aging receiving core to an offensive line needing to perform well, Tampa Bay's success on the offensive end could somewhat see some struggles in 2025. The biggest reason is a new play-caller, though. Josh Grizzard has taken over the team's offensive play-caller role at just 34 years old. He's the third offensive boss in as many seasons. That kind of instability can make things hard for any offense to maintain consistency. Tampa Bay is looking to continue to move forward with confidence, however. "We were a really good offense last year but we still have room to improve and I think he's going to do whatever it takes to get us there," Buccaneers tight end Otton said at OTAs. Advertisement Maybe there is reason to believe that the Buccaneers can be even better in 2025 than they were in previous years. Mayfield's development as a quarterback has been strong, and the offense has far more weapons than most other teams in the league. This will come down to Grizzard, though. If he can pick up where Liam Coen and Dave Canales left off, the Buccaneers should continue to have one of the best offenses in the league. ... And be a Super Bowl contender over the course of this season. Warner Bros to split cable and streaming businesses in major restructuring

As cable television continues to experience stagnation, with the trend of cord-cutting growing stronger each year, Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) is adapting to the evolving media landscape by separating its streaming and cable operations. This landmark decision aims to maximize the potential of both businesses, according to WBD. The company announced Monday its plan to split into two publicly traded entities: The Streaming & Studios division, which will include Warner Bros. Television, Motion Picture Group, DC Studios, HBO, and HBO Max; and Global Networks, featuring CNN, TNT Sports in the U.S., Discovery, and Bleacher Report. Notably, Discovery+ will not be included in the Streaming segment, indicating that WBD may not prioritize it as much as HBO Max. Recently, HBO Max reverted to its original branding, emphasizing the company's commitment to premium content, in contrast to Discovery titles, which have underperformed, leading to several removals. This decision reflects a broader trend among media companies, such as Comcast's spinoff of NBCUniversal's cable channels last year.
