2025 Puppy Bowl: How to watch, kickoff time, TV channel and more on Animal Planet show

The Puppy Super Bowl is about to unleash a flurry of fur, fun, and adorable touchdowns as pups from across the country compete in the much cuter — and for some, more entertaining — counterpart to the NFL's biggest annual event.
The 2025 Puppy Bowl will air on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 9. This year, 142 dogs from 80 shelters and rescues across 40 states and two countries will compete for the coveted title.
Among the contestants is Mr. Pickles, a pug-chihuahua mix from Dallas, who was already adopted by Puppy Bowl trainer, dog trainer and author Victoria Schade, according to NBC DFW.
Kickoff in the Puppy Bowl is set for 1 p.m. CT. The event lasts around three hours which will lead right into the pregame events taking place in New Orleans at Super Bowl 59.

Puppy Bowl 21 will be available on Animal Planet, Discovery, TBS and truTV on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2025. Streamers can watch the action unfold on Discovery+, Max or Fubo, which comes with a free trial.
Not legally, according to ESPN sports betting writer Doug Greenberg. He explained to USA TODAY that since the event is pre-taped and its outcome is already known, betting on it isn't permitted in any legal sports betting market.
