Update as alleged anti-Semitic nurses Ahmad Rashad Nadir, and Sarah Abu Lebdeh given NDIS bans
Two nurses charged with threatening to kill Israeli patients in a viral video have been banned from working with NDIS patients.
Ahmad Rashad Nadir, and fellow nurse Sarah Abu Lebdeh, both aged 27, made international headlines in February after a video of the pair allegedly bragging about killing Israeli patients at Bankstown Hospital, in Sydney's west, went viral.
The pair, who have both been stood down from their jobs by NSW Health, have also been hit with a two-year ban from working with NDIS participants.
The order came into effect in May, a listing by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission read.
It prevents the nurses from working with any NDIS participants or engaging in any work for or on behalf of any NDIS provider, in any Australian state or territory.
Ms Abu Lebdeh is charged with threatening violence to a group, using a carriage service to threaten to kill and using a carriage service to menace, harass or offend.
Mr Nadir has been charged with using a carriage service to menace, harass or offend and possessing a prohibited drug.
The pair remain on bail, and have not yet entered any pleas.
However, Mr Nadir's lawyer Zemarai Khatiz told reporters outside the Downing Centre Local Court in March that he would 'intend to argue for the video to be excluded from court'.
Mr Khatiz alleges the video was captured 'without the consent and knowledge' of his client.
'We will be challenging the admissibility of the video recording because it was a private conversation which was recorded by the person overseas without my client's consent and without his knowledge,' Mr Khatiz told NewsWire.
'That video recording was made secretly overseas and was unlawfully obtained.'
Mr Khatiz also confirmed his client intends to plead not guilty.
In the two-and-a-half minute video, recorded by Israeli influencer Max Veifer, the nurses allegedly threaten to kill Israelis who came to the hospital.
Mr Veifer often uses Chatruletka and Omegle, online platforms that pair users in random video chats, to expose instances of anti-Semitism and also to learn English.
'Ahh,' Mr Nadir says in the clip. 'I'm gonna be really honest with you, you've actually got really, really beautiful eyes.
'But I'm so upset that you're Israeli … eventually you're gonna get killed and you're gonna go to Jahannam (hell). But those pretty eyes, they should stay in this world for longer.'
The exchange quickly gets heated as Mr Veifer explains he served in the IDF (Israeli Defence Force).
A woman's voice can then be heard off camera saying: 'you killed innocent people'.
The woman's voice continues: 'So you kill innocent people to protect your country? What kind of soul do you have? You have no soul.'
Mr Veifer then asked the pair: 'How are you doctors?'
Abu Lebdeh then allegedly told Mr Veifer she wanted him to 'remember my face so you can understand that you will die the most disgusting death'.
Mr Veifer then begins to ask 'Let's say an Israeli, God forbid …'
'I won't treat them, I'll kill them,' Ms Abu Lebdeh says.
'Not God forbid, I hope to God.'
'You'll kill them?' Mr Veifer is heard asking.
Mr Nadir then said: 'OK you have no idea how many Israeli haram dogs came to this hospital and (makes throat slitting motion) I send them to Jahannam.'
'For real? If just Jewish people comes (sic) there …' Mr Veifer begins before the chat ends.
Following the identification of Mr Nadir in February, Strike Force Pearl raided his home and seized a number of items.
The pair will return to court at the end of the month.

The filthy house where allegedly slain teen Pheobe Bishop lived with her housemates – who are now charged with the teen's murder – has been completely cleaned and revamped. Tanika Bromley, 33, and her partner James Wood, 34, were renting the three-bedroom home in Gin Gin home at the time of Pheobe's disappearance in May. The squalid property was among several crime scenes declared during the police probe into the 17-year-old's disappearance, after she failed to check into a flight bound for Brisbane. In early June, despite no-one living in the house, the front lawn was still strewn with rubbish. A bus parked outside the home, carrying a crudely-drawn sign saying 'Let it Ride', was piled up to the roof with junk, along with a small dinghy. But recent pictures have captured the extent of the clean-up work done on the house, just weeks after both Ms Bromley and Mr Wood faced court charged with Pheobe's murder. Rubbish from the yard has been completely cleared away and the exterior facade of the house appears to show a fresh coat of paint. Repairs have also been carried out to the balcony exterior. The boat and bus once parked out the front have also been towed away, and the lawn has been freshly mowed. The pictures are night-and-day compared to the feral state the house was left in, with 7News capturing the extent of rubbish left behind after Ms Bromley and Mr Wood were ordered out of the property during the police investigation. Dog faeces and trash litter the rooms and holes in the walls and doors were hastily patched by the pair, the landlord told 7News. 'A rubbish dump is probably cleaner,' the landlord told the program. 'I just can't understand how someone can live in conditions like this.' The clean-up effort follows Ms Bromley and Mr Wood being charged with Pheobe's murder in early June. They are also facing two counts each of misconduct with a corpse, with police alleging the pair moved Pheobe's body more than once after her death. A massive search effort commenced after Pheobe failed to check into her flight from Bundaberg Airport on May 15, where she was due to fly to Brisbane and then onto Western Australia to visit her boyfriend. Weeks after the search, human remains were discovered in the Good Night Scrub National Park Area, which police later confirmed to be Pheobe's. In an added blow, Ms Bromley has been slapped with a banning order by the NDIS, black-listing her from 'being involved in providing NDIS supports or services to NDIS funded participants'. 'Specifically, Tanika Bromley is prohibited from providing supports and services, directly or indirectly, to NDIS-funded participants,' the banning order, issued on June 12, states. The order covers any activities which could be undertaken by NDIS workers and affiliated consultants and auditors and 'the provision or management of NDIS supports, services or funding to people with disability in the NDIS'. It remains in place for six months and covers all Australian states and territories.

Diners rush in after horror head-on crash on busy King Street in Sydney's Newtown
A family of five is lucky to have escaped with their lives after a horror head-on collision on a busy inner Sydney street. CCTV footage captured the moment a black SUV sped down the wrong side of King Street in Newtown at around 7pm on Sunday night. Driving straight at oncoming traffic, it clipped the side of a sedan before hurtling head-on into a four-wheel drive carrying a family of five, including a 9 and 12-year-old. Diners at the restaurants lining the street came out to help the injured, with one person rushing to pull out the 28-year-old man who had been driving the out of control car. Witnesses described the crash as sounding like gunshots or a bomb. 'People, kids inside the restaurant all got scared, they thought it was a bomb,' one local restaurant owner told 9News. A total of five cars were damaged in the incident, and seven people were taken to hospital. Amazingly, there were no fatalities. The driver was among those taken to hospital, where he underwent mandatory testing. He has since been charged with driving under the influence and had his licence suspended. He is due to face court in August.
