Endowments authority distributes cash aid to wounded war veterans

The General Authority for Endowments has launched the fifth phase of its cash transfer project, providing financial assistance to individuals wounded and disabled during the conflict.
The project, implemented in collaboration with the Yemen Future Association and the Wounded Foundation, aims to support those who have suffered injuries due to the "aggression."
Dr. Abdullah al-Qudami, the Authority's Undersecretary for the Mosques and Endowments Sector, informed Saba News Agency that the fifth phase of the project distributed 115 million Yemeni Y.R to 6,000 wounded and disabled veterans across the capital and other provinces. This brings the total disbursement across all five phases of the project to approximately 615 million Y.R.
Dr. al-Qudami emphasized that the project is a gesture of appreciation for the sacrifices made by these individuals in defense of the nation against the "US-Saudi aggression."
He stated that they are deemed worthy of support from endowment funds, and that this represents a minimal offering.
Al-Qudami also expressed regret for the cancellation of accompanying hospitality events, which were traditionally held during Ramadan, citing national security concerns related to the ongoing aggression on the country.

Yemen's Houthis "warn" companies to leave Israel
The Houthis yesterday renewed their warning to all firms investing in Israel, urging them to leave immediately or risk bearing full responsibility for any potential losses. Mahdi Al-Mashat, president of the Supreme Political Council — the highest governing authority in the Houthi-led administration in Sanaa — called on all companies investing in Israel to take the Yemeni warning seriously and to withdraw quickly, stressing that the environment is no longer safe. His remarks were reported by Houthi-run media. 'Companies that remain in the Zionist entity after our warning will have to bear the consequences of their insistence and be held accountable for any losses they may incur,' he added. 'We may take additional decisions in the coming days, if necessary, which would place investment companies within the Zionist entity at real and serious risk.' 'The disregard shown by some investment firms for our forces' warnings makes their operations inside the entity a dangerous gamble, which could come at a heavy cost,' Al-Mashat added. He accused the Israeli occupation government of failing to protect the interests of private companies, saying: 'The criminal Netanyahu government does not care about the safety of investment companies. It gambles with their security to serve its own interests. A government that ignores the lives of its own captives will certainly not care about the safety of others' companies and investments.'

Due to Yemeni Forces' Blockade: Revenues from Israeli Port of Eilat Collapsed by 80% in 2024
Occupied al-Quds- Saba: The Israeli newspaper "The Marker" revealed that revenues from the port of Eilat collapsed by 80% in 2024, after ships stopped docking there following the blockade imposed by Yemeni forces on maritime navigation in the Red Sea in support of the Gaza Strip. The Israeli government will vote next Sunday on a draft resolution for compensation conditional on the payment of a debt of 3.2 million shekels accumulated by the port owners. The draft resolution reveals the extent of the damage to the port due to the blockade imposed by the Yemeni armed forces, which has prevented ships from sailing through the Red Sea, forcing them instead to circumnavigate Africa to reach Israel's Mediterranean ports, Ashdod and Haifa. From the beginning of 2025 to mid-May, only six ships docked at the port. The suspension of operations placed 21 employees on unpaid leave, compared to only 16 ships docked last year. In 2023, port revenues reached NIS 212 million. In 2024, they decreased by approximately 80%, reaching NIS 42 million, compared to 134 ships docking at the port in 2023.
