‘Free terror agreement': What Priyanka Chaturvedi said about Pakistan in London
Shiv Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha MP Priyanka Chaturvedi on Sunday said that while India is pursuing global free trade agreements, Pakistan is promoting what she called a 'free terrorist arrangement' across the world.
'We have just concluded a free trade agreement (FTA) with the UK. We signed with Australia some time ago. We are going to do that with the European Union, and with the USA sometime soon,' she said in London as part of an all-party delegation.
'India is looking at trade, we are looking at economy, we are looking at commerce, while they (Pakistan) are looking at free terrorist arrangement across the world. That is what we need to expose,' she added.
Priyanka Chaturvedi said that while India hosts the G20, Pakistan hosts the T20, sheltering the world's top terrorists, a policy evident from Osama bin Laden, who was hidden and supported by the Pakistani government.
'While we host the G20, they host the T20. The top 20 terrorists of the world will be found being hosted by the Pakistani state government. It is their stated policy right from Osama bin Laden,' she said.
Referring to the US raid that killed bin Laden in Abbottabad, she said, 'You must go back home and see the documentary on how Osama bin Laden was taken out of Pakistan. He was hidden, actively financed, aided, trained, and supported, hidden from their so-called ally, the US. They shake hands with you, but they bite you on your back,' the Shiv Sena (UBT) leader added.
Priyanka said that over 100 terrorists were killed in strikes under Operation Sindoor, warning they could have carried out attacks worldwide, and praised India's armed forces for their actions.
'Our armed forces have said over 100 terrorists have died in the strikes. You can imagine these terrorists were capable of carrying out 100 terror activities, not just in India, but across the world, so the world should be thanking the armed forces of India for doing what they did,' said Priyanka.
Recalling the Pahalgam terror attack, Priyanka Chaturvedi said terrorists had asked victims their religion before killing them. 'They did this in the hope that they would divide this nation. India doesn't stand divided. India stands united, and it's our diversity that we celebrate, the diversity that brings this unity,' she added.

Sana Yousaf, a 17-year-old Pakistani social media influencer known for her TikTok and Instagram content, was shot dead inside her home in Islamabad on Monday. While no arrests have been made so far, police say they are exploring several angles, including dishonour killing. Samaa TV reported that the attacker may have been a guest at her residence. 'Sana Yousaf, who hailed from Upper Chitral and resided in Sector G-13 of Islamabad, was fatally shot by a guest who had come to visit her at her residence. The assailant fled the scene immediately after the incident, and police have launched a manhunt to apprehend the suspect,' the channel said, citing police sources. Sana rose to prominence through her TikTok videos and was admired for promoting Chitrali traditions, women's rights, and education. The daughter of a social activist, she often used her social media platforms to raise awareness about issues affecting her community, especially young women. She was also active on Instagram with frequent post of humorous reels and videos that resonated with her growing Gen Z audience. Her killing adds to a disturbing trend of violence against young female influencers in Pakistan. Earlier this year, a 15-year-old girl named Hira was shot dead in Quetta by her father and maternal uncle for posting videos on TikTok. Police later arrested both men, who confessed to the murder.

From Attock to Peshawar, Pak document lists 7 more places targeted by Indian drones
NEW DELHI: India's targeting of locations within Pakistan during the four days of military clashes last month was more extensive than was previously known, with a Pakistan government document acknowledging that Indian drones struck locations ranging from Peshawar in the northwest to Hyderabad in the south. The document on Pakistan's Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, which was mounted in response to India's Operation Sindoor, lists at least seven locations targeted by Indian drone strikes that were not cited in official briefings by Indian officials. The document, which was shared with the Pakistani media, largely focuses on what it describes as India's 'unprovoked aggression', although these came in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack of April 22 that killed 26 civilians. The graphics in the Pakistani document detailing India's drone strikes on May 8, 9 and 10 list seven locations -- Peshawar in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, Attock, Bahawalnagar, Gujrat and Jhang in Punjab province, and Chhor and Hyderabad in Sindh province -- that were not acknowledged as targets by Indian officials at any briefings held during or after the hostilities. The document didn't give details of what the Indian drone strikes had targeted at these seven locations. HT had first reported on May 16 that India's drone strikes on May 8 targeted the National Defence Complex (NDC) in Attock district, which builds transporter-erecter-launcher vehicles for missiles. Bahawalnagar is home to an army cantonment, while Gujrat district has Pakistan's largest cantonment located at Kharian. Shorkot cantonment is located in Jhang district, adjacent to Rafiqui airbase that was also targeted by Indian missiles. The Pakistan Army Desert Warfare School is headquartered in Chhor cantonment, and Hyderabad too is home to an army cantonment. High-resolution satellite imagery from several private firms has already revealed the damage inflicted by India's military strikes on terrorist infrastructure at nine locations in territories controlled by Pakistan on May 7, and the subsequent missile attacks on eight airbases on May 10. In the early hours of May 7, the Indian Air Force (IAF) struck two terror sites at Markaz Subhanallah in Bahawalpur and Markaz Taiba near Muridke, both in Pakistan's Punjab province, while the army hit targets at seven places, including Mehmoona Joya in Sialkot, Sawai Nala and Syed Na Bilal in Muzaffarabad, Gulpur and Abbas in Kotli, Barnala in Bhimber, and Sarjal. The Markaz Subhanallah camp was the farthest target for Indian forces. Located around 100 km from the international border, it is the headquarters of the banned Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and has been used for recruitment, indoctrinating and training terrorists. Markaz Taiba is the headquarters of the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) founded by Hafiz Saeed. Terrorists trained at this camp were linked to many attacks in India, including the 2008 Mumbai attacks. Ajmal Kasab, the only terrorist captured alive at the time, received training here and so did David Coleman Headley. It is located 25 km inside Pakistan. During May 9-10, the IAF struck military targets in Rafiqui, Murid, Chaklala, Rahim Yar Khan, Sukkur, Chunian, Pasrur, Sialkot, Skardu, Sargodha, Jacobabad, Bholari and Malir Cantt in Karachi.

Chenab Rail Bridge to bring Delhi and Kashmir closer
The Chenab Rail bridge is all set to be inaugurated on June 6 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his first visit to Jammu and Kashmir after 'Operation Sindoor'. The railway bridge, which is also the world's highest, has been built over the Chenab River in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district. As per the government, this bridge will be a key part of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Railway Link (USBRL) project in the union territory. The railway bridge has been designed by WSP. As per the Canadian-based engineering firm, the Chenab Railway Bridge is the world's highest and longest steel arch bridge. The Chenab bridge has a total length of 1315 metres. "The free span length of the bridge is 467 m measured from the surface of the river below, the height of the bridge deck is 350m," states WSP. As per the engineering firm, the bridge was constructed with 27,000 tonnes of steel. The bridge was constructed through a joint venture between Indian companies Afcons Infrastructure, VSL India, and South Korean company Ultra Construction. Apart from being a key part of the USBRL railway project, the Chenab bridge will also bring Delhi closer to Kashmir. The bridge is situated 600 km North of New Delhi and aims to connect the Kashmir valley with the rest of India through a railway network. With its inauguration set for later this week, the rail link will also work to revive tourism in the valley, especially after the Pahalgam attack on April 22, which has led to a reduction in tourist footfall in the valley. On April 22, a terror attack in Pahalgam's Baisaran meadow, killed 25 Indians and one Nepali citizen. Following the terror attack, the tourism industry faced a major setback as many fled the union territory. Over a month after the attack, efforts to revive tourism in the valley remain ongoing, especially due to the contribution tourist activity holds for Kashmir's economy. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah recently conducted a cabinet meeting in Pahalgam as part of the state government's effort to revive tourism.
