All Taylor Swift songs are now 'Taylor's Version.' Swift finally acquires life's work.
All Taylor Swift songs are now officially Taylor's Version.
After a long and grueling feud with her previous record label and talent manager Scooter Braun, Swift now owns her masters.
The superstar, who was in Indianapolis back in November on her record-breaking Eras Tour, posted a lengthy letter on her website detailing that every aspect of her career including videos, concert films, art, photography and unreleased materials is under her control.
"All of the music I've ever made now belongs to me," Swift wrote.
Swift credited Shamrock Capital, the private equity firm that purchased the master rights to Swift's first six albums from Scooter Braun's Ithaca Holdings in 2020, for giving her the opportunity to purchase every aspect of her career work.
On her Instagram account, Swift posted a photo of herself sitting on the floor surrounded by her first six albums with the comment, 'You belong with me,' a nod to her hit from 2008's 'Fearless' album.

Swift gives a final shoutout to her fans for rallying behind her during this process.
'Thanks to you and your goodwill, teamwork, support and encouragement, the best things that have ever been mine … finally actually are," Swift wrote.
Swift did confirm that she is still working on and plans to release "Reputation (Taylor's Version)" and her debut album, "Taylor Swift (Taylor's Version)." She teased fans in the letter by adding, "If you're into the idea."
Swift explained she kept 'hitting a stopping point' while trying to remake "Reputation," adding, 'all that defiance, that longing to be understood while feeling purposely misunderstood, that desperate hope, that shame-born snarl and mischief. To be perfectly honest, it's the one album in those first six that I thought couldn't be improved upon by redoing it.'
Swift did note that her self-titled country-rooted debut from 2006 – has been rerecorded and added 'I love how it sounds now.'
Story continues after photo gallery.
Swift has very publicly spoken about how important it is to her to own her own music, but for several years, she did not own the master recordings of her first six albums.
Although they were for sale in 2019, Swift claimed she was not notified they were for sale until they had already been sold, USA TODAY reported. That is what led to her re-recording these albums.
"Artists should own their own work for so many reasons, but the most screamingly obvious one is that the artist is the only one who really knows that body of work," Swift wrote on X, formerly Twitter when she announced her first re-recorded album, "Fearless (Taylor's Version)."
More on Taylor Swift: Here's 13 things to know about Taylor Swift
Since she has songwriting credits on every song in her discography, nothing prevented her from re-recording new versions of all her songs as long as enough time has passed since the original version's release.
You can tell which version of her songs are hers because she has added "(Taylor's Version)" to each track and album title. She has re-released four so far: "Fearless (Taylor's Version)," "Red (Taylor's Version)," "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" and, most recently, "1989 (Taylor's Version)."
The only two albums Swift has yet to re-release are her debut, "Taylor Swift," and "Reputation," which fans theorize she did on purpose, leaving only her name and reputation left to reclaim.

Trace Cyrus Blasts 'Evil' Dad Billy Ray Cyrus For Skipping Grandmother's Funeral
Trace Cyrus, the son of country musician Billy Ray Cyrus, continues to hint at family discord even as his father appears to be happily in the throes of a new relationship. On Tuesday, Trace Cyrus shared an Instagram post in which he accused the two-time Grammy winner of skipping his maternal grandmother's funeral. 'This man is so hungry for fame it's pathetic,' he wrote alongside a photo of Billy Ray Cyrus. 'He really flew to Italy for a fashion show but wouldn't come to LA for Mammie's funeral while he was still married to my mom. Even after his daughter got him a 60k private jet like he demanded then he still didn't come after the plane was paid for.' Addressing his dad directly, Trace Cyrus added: 'You're the lamest man to ever walk the planet earth. Honestly embarrassed to ever have considered you my idol. The best thing to come from your downfall is it made me go into beast mode. I refuse to be a washed up, delusional, evil person when I'm old like you.' A representative for Billy Ray Cyrus declined comment on Trace Cyrus' remarks. In addition to Trace Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus shares four more children ― including daughters Miley and Noah Cyrus ― with ex-wife Tish Cyrus. Tish Cyrus' mother, Loretta Finley, died in 2020 at age 85, according to USA Today. Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus divorced in 2022 after 28 years of marriage. Trace Cyrus, who is also a musician, has hinted at an estrangement from his father on numerous occasions. In January, he urged Billy Ray Cyrus to seek help via an open letter on Instagram in response to his dad's shaky performance at President Donald Trump's inaugural festivities that month. 'We are all hanging on to memories of the man we once knew & hoping for the day he returns,' he wrote at the time. 'You're not healthy Dad & everyone is noticing it.' Trace Cyrus' post comes just days after Miley Cyrus shrugged off rumors of a strained relationship with her dad while appearing on The New York Times' 'The Interview' podcast. 'As I've gotten older, I'm respecting my parents as individuals instead of as parents — because my mom really loved my dad for her whole life,' she explained. 'And I think being married to someone in the music industry and not being a part of it is, obviously, really hard.' These days, Billy Ray Cyrus appears to be enjoying his time with girlfriend Elizabeth Hurley nearly two months after hard-launching their romance on social media. On Tuesday, the musician acknowledged Hurley's 60th birthday with a heartfelt post on Instagram, writing: 'Happy birthday to the love of my life.' Sabrina Carpenter announced a new album. How much are tickets to see her live?
Vivid Seats is the New York Post's official ticketing partner. We may receive revenue from this partnership for sharing this content and/or when you make a purchase. Featured pricing is subject to change. Sabrina Carpenter has taken a page from Taylor Swift's playbook. Like the 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' hitmaker, Carpenter has a.) extended her multi-year tour and b.) announced a surprise mid-trek album. For Swift, she dropped 'The Tortured Poets Department' during the international leg of the 'Eras Tour.' Carpenter is doing the same with 'Man's Best Friend,' due out Aug. 29. Advertisement While we wait for more bread crumbs from the record before its release, fans can obsess over the Jack Antonoff-produced single 'Manchild.' For our money, the bouncy, synth-country bop captures the lightning in a bottle magic on display in her two breakout 2024 smashes 'Espresso' and 'Please Please Please.' A little over a month after 'Man's Best Friend' hits shelves, the 26-year-old kicks off the second leg of her 'Short n' Sweet Tour' with special guests Olivia Dean, Amber Mark and Ravyn Lenae joining her on select dates. That run includes a whopping five (!) shows at New York City's Madison Square Garden on Sunday, Oct. 26, Tuesday, Oct. 28, Wednesday, Oct. 29, Friday, Oct. 31 and Saturday, Nov. 1. And, given that Carpenter is back in the news — it looks like she may be the most talked-about artist for the second summer in a row — we're curious how much tickets cost to see the pint-sized pop star. Advertisement Based on our findings, at the time of publication, the lowest price we could find for any one North American non-festival concert was $244 including fees on Vivid Seats. Other shows have tickets starting anywhere from $253 to $369 including fees. For more information, our team has everything you need to know and more about Sabrina Carpenter's 2025 'Short n' Sweet Tour' below. All prices listed above are subject to fluctuation. The lively 3.5-minute tune begins with a light laugh and what sounds like an off-the-cuff spoken 'oh, boy' before launching into the simultaneously earthy and artificial sound that backs Carpenter's gorgeous voice. As you may have guessed, the ditty tells the story of a man that isn't quite mature enough for her as evidenced by cutting lyrics like 'Man-child/Why you always come a-running to me?/F— my life/Won't you let an innocent woman be?' To hear for yourself, you can groove along to the pointed yet buoyant banger here. Sabrina Carpenter special guests Advertisement At all shows, Carpenter will be joined by an opening act or two. 'I felt betrayed': 'Love is Blind' star Lydia explains why she divorced husband Milton
'I felt betrayed': 'Love is Blind' star Lydia explains why she divorced husband Milton Show Caption Hide Caption Milton from 'Love is Blind' reflects on fiancée Lydia's past with Uche Milton Johnson from Netflix's "Love is Blind" opened up about his relationship with fiancée Lydia and why he loves that they're so "different." Fan favorite "Love Is Blind" couple Lydia Velez Gonzalez and Milton Johnson are divorcing after three years of marriage. The pair, who met on Season 5 of the hit Netflix dating show, are splitting after turmoil in their marriage, Gonzalez revealed on a Wednesday, June 11 episode of the What's the Reality? podcast. While their marriage once felt like a fairy tale, the 34-year-old geologist said she now feels that Johnson was never ready to be a husband. "It wasn't one thing. Yeah, it was a layer of situations and things that just kept piling it up," Gonzalez told host and fellow "Love Is Blind" alum Amber Desiree "AD" Smith. When Gonzalez informed Johnson that she would file for divorce, he allegedly said he would not sign them unless there was a non-disclosure agreement. "And that said enough for me to know that I needed to share my truth and my experience, because I've been suffering in silence," she said. "This is just my chance to speak my truth for me and for other people that always reach out to me and tell me that I'm an inspiration. I feel that it was very hypocritical me not share this with the world when they have been so transparent with me." Lydia said Milton would not cut off 'disrespectful' ex-partner One of the first signs of trouble in their marriage was an argument the two had about one of Johnson's ex-partners, according to Gonzalez. She considered the woman "very insistent" and "very disrespectful towards our marriage." She added that he also kept a ripped up love letter from the woman in a shoebox at their apartment. At one point, Gonzalez went through Johnson's phone and said she found a text from him referring to the woman that read "I want to (expletive) that person." "When I saw that my heart went to the floor. I felt like betrayed and disrespected," she said. "And then I remember calling him and telling him, 'how long has it been that you want to (expletive) this person.' And he was like, 'what are we talking about.'" Johnson denied any infidelity, adding that he would never jeopardize their marriage and said "that's how boys talk," according to Gonzalez. USA TODAY has reached out to Johnson for comment. 'Love is Blind' pair tried marriage counseling Gonzalez said that her husband felt that she had violated their trust and one day called her "stupid and an untrustworthy person." "I don't consider myself a jealous person, unless you give me motives to, once you give me motives to I'll become a detective. I don't care because my gut instinct is so clever. I mean, it never fails me," she said. She added that the two participated in couple's therapy but that she felt it was not working. Gonzalez said other issues included Johnson becoming distant and addicted to the video game "Halo" and him allegedly scolding her in front of his family for cursing too much. Over time, she said his comments "kept making me feel small" and eventually made the decision to end the relationship she once felt showed her the "kind of love that I've never received before." The pair met on Season 5 of the reality dating show on Netflix, in which contestants looking for romance interact via pods designed to keep their appearances a mystery.
